We were shown to a comfortable booth by the window, the rolls were piping hot and just perfect with the cinnamon butter. We were early enough for the specials at 12.99 per meal. Instead, we opted for the sirloin and bbq chicken served along side a masterful sweet potato with warm and crusted marshmallows. This was pretty fantastic. We also ordered the smothered chicken with the cream gravy. It was loaded with beefy mushrooms, sautéed onions over grilled chicken. Very satisfying. The cactus blossom was surprisingly good with a very light crunch and not greasy. We had to try the rattlesnake bites. Nice spice and creamy with little jalapeños inside. On this day, they were a bit salty and the salt really competed and overtook the taste. Overall, this meal and the whole experience was very pleasant. It is much quieter at lunch than dinner. But they are only open for lunch Friday through Sunday, especially on a cold snowy day. I has a gift card to use so I decided to come get some of those rolls. The food is always good. I got the sirloin steak but wished I got the ribeye steak since it is more tender. Since they had honey French dressing, I got a side salad and the green beans since they are seasoned with pork along with the onions. I ate the salad there and a sampling of the steak and green beans since the salad and the rolls are so filling. The steak, green beans, and rolls heated up well the next day. The service was friendly and efficient. They had plenty of help. It is very country and the music is a little loud but you can't argue with the prices. My meal was $26. Ton of menu options, I would avoid the smaller steaks, I know the steaks shrink a bit when cooking but our kids 6oz and 8oz steaks looked like 4oz filets.... tiny and over cooked. My 20oz Porterhouse was delicious. Maybe order a larger steak and split it instead of the petite cuts. We ended up with a couple missing sides and one of the half ribs was short a few "bones". Everything was fixed pretty quick. Server noticed the rib issue herself when setting the plate down and manager delivered the extra ribs and apologized. The place was super packed but service was great the entire time. All the tables were full and about 30 people were waiting in the front for seats bit the servers kept smiling, music was playing, and the overall vibe was pretty upbeat. Great place to take your family out for a fun dinner. Parking was tight... we were lucky to grab a spot, when we were walking out there were trucks parked on the grass all around the restaurant. Dined in on a Sunday evening and it was very busy. Party of 2 and had to wait about 10 minutes to be seated. Place was very loud and crowded. The complimentary bread and butter was the best part of the meal. The rest of the dining experience went down hill from there. Waitress said she would bring us peanuts since bucket was completely empty when she took the drink order. She never brought any. Husband and I both ordered Caesar salads with our meals. Different waiter than ours brought the salad. Husband got one but they didn't have one for me. Tried to get waiters attention but he walked away. Husband finished his entire salad and our waitress never came to the table. Husband's lettuce was browning and he had to pick around the pieces. Yuck! Waitress came to clear husband's salad plate and we let her know I never got my salad. She said how could that be?! She apologized when she returned with the salad, but unfortunately the meal came out at the same time. Not ideal, but okay fine. My salad was worse than my husbands. Lettuce was browning and dressing was watery like salad had been plated earlier and sat in fridge to drip. Gross! The worst part of the meal... the actual dinner. Steak was tough and chewy. Quality of meat that I would feed my dog. So much salt on the meat. The ribs were full of fat. Hardly any meat on them. Sauce was okay on ribs. The macaroni and cheese was absolutely flavorless. Kraft mac and cheese from the box tastes better than this place. For a bbq place, I expected much better than what I got. I can't describe how disappointing it was to spend almost $30 on such a garbage dinner. Husband said his was okay, nothing special and wouldn't get it again. Waiter never came back to the table the entire meal. Terrible customer service! I will never return here. i came in this evening looking for a enjoyable meal with my friends, but instead i was deeply dissatisfied with this experience. i had ordered a 6oz steak medium rare with PLAIN fries, i was served a burnt stake that was dry and completely raw and cold in the middle. and my fries were loaded with bacon which i didn't ask for and said no to when was asked if i wanted them, i sent my food back to the kitchen to get the steak cooked again and it was back there for 20 minutes. by the time i even got my meal everyone in my party was already done eating. when i got my meal back the steak was no where near cooked properly, it was even more burnt than before, and it was EXTREMELY dry. i ended up not even being able to eat any of the food i ordered as it was practically inedible. im very disappointed in this experience i was provided tonight. read more

First of all, our server Brandon was awesome otherwise I would give 3 stars ! It was busy in here yet he was patient and had a great attitude. I noticed the sitting area was clean. The rolls were so good and I get why they're known for the rolls bc of the unique cinnamon butter. We got the appetizer combo- the fried pickles and rattlesnake bites were really good. After coming here the kids wanted to know why we never came here before! This was our first time and honestly it was not on my radar since it was just another chain restaurant, but after hundreds of videos of people chowing down on their famous rolls I was convinced to try it out. They were right, those rolls are everything! We came on a busy Saturday evening and basically got it immediately even though it was packed. They seem very efficient here getting people in and out of the restaurant. The decor is adorable ,highly themed, like being at an amusement park restaurant in frontier town. The servers seemed very nice and super efficient. Everything ran smoothly here. There are tons of good choices and the prices are great for today's restaurants, you get a lot of value with your meal. So many things are complementary or refillable as well. The rolls were top notch, loved them. The kids tried their delicious lemonade that came in three flavors and between the two of them tried all three. They were good. The server said the strawberry is a fan favorite and probably the best of them. I also tried their $5 Long Island Iced Tea, which was great and so incredibly cheap. We also had the worlds biggest super sized glass of cider for a little over $8. The meals were well priced and came with two sides. The portions were huge, nothing you can finish in one sitting. I had the chicken fried sirloin, which for me was a favorite dish in Texas, so of course I had to get it. It was tasty. I liked their marshmallow topped sweet potato and the bacon cheese topped steak fries. I normally do not love steak fries, but these were really good. We also got the chicken fried chicken, ribs, filet, mixed veg, corn, and mashed potatoes. I would love to go back. Their salads looked so good, I was a bit sad I did not try it as one of my sides. I also liked the small upgrades to put on the meals and the sides, like the cheese and bacon, or mushrooms and onions. I did not upgrade and smother my chicken fried steak since I wanted to try it plain, but maybe next time. They also have complimentary bags of peanuts. They did not ask us if we wanted any, but you can see them advertised on the walls around the restaurant, so we got a couple bags. They were crunch and nice and salty. This was my first time at this location. I used to be a big fan of Texas Roadhouse when I would go a lot, circa 2016 and earlier. I think the last time I went to a Texas Roadhouse was in 2017 or 2018 at the then-new Ann Arbor location. My boyfriend and I had been wanting to try this location out so we went for dinner last night. First off, sign up for their eclub and you get a free appetizer. Second, definitely make sure you do the online check-in before you leave. I had been planning on doing that but it turned out at 8 PM on a Saturday night there was about an hour wait so even when we arrived we still had to wait about an hour, after doing the online check-in and driving about fifteen minutes. The food is decent here although I always compare it to Outback and Outback is a bit better. They start you off with their complimentary bread and cinnamon butter, which is always delicious. Prices are very reasonable as well, I got the 6 ounce sirloin which comes with two sides and I believe it was $12.99. I ordered the Caesar salad and some mushrooms for my sides. We ordered the cactus blossom for our appetizer since it was free with the eclub sign up. It was good but I didn't like the sauce as much as the one that comes with the Bloomin' Onion at Outback. I'll be honest and say that my steak was just OK. They have a lot of other more expensive steaks on the menu and I'd like to try those at some point. I make steak for myself at home pretty frequently so I usually compare it to that and sometimes restaurant steaks are lacking, lol. The Caesar salad was fine and I split the loaded baked sweet potato with my boyfriend and that was very tasty. Mushrooms were also good. So I would give this place three out of five for the food but the waitservice was definitely five out of five. everyone was really friendly and I had to go to the restroom for a bit because I have Crohn's and I had too much butter and fried food there and apparently the waitress asked if I was okay, which was nice of her. One of my pet peeves at a restaurant too is if you leave the restaurant and none of the servers say goodbye to you and we had at least five of them say goodbye to us this time. I would come back here but I would probably order some thing different off the menu. My boyfriend got the portobello mushroom chicken which he has ordered in the past and really enjoyed it. I only cut off about 1 oz of fat and it was done perfectly. Juicy. Rolls and butter good, but I wish they had a multigrain or wholewheat version. The wine I had was actually very good and they had some great selections (not junk wine)....eg. Meomi Pinot. Service: very friendly. I don't why people can rate this one star. Yes it get busy and yes you will have to wait sometimes. Yes you might get a different waiter or waitress but that's called team work and that's called a great restaurant. My wife and I went there once on a Saturday a few hours after we left Motor City Comic Con. Yes it was busy yes we had two/three wait staff. But all of them were great and helpful. Our main waitress was name Faith. She was very helpful and respectful. She made sure we had everything and are food was great and taken care of. My wife got a bbq cheese burger and fries. I got half take ribs and fries with Cesar salad. My ribs were a 10/10 ribs. One of the best ribs I ever had. Cooked to the right temp and the burger my wife had was great too. The place was busy but a little loud but that was expected for a busy place and a weekend. It was clean and the bussers made sure that the tables were clean and ready for the next people. What a wonderful dinner we had this evening. We used the website to reserve a seat and it wasn't but about 20 minutes and we were inside. This place was happening and tables were full. We sat down at a booth and the waiter was over promptly taking drink orders. We did mention we had a birthday person with us. Tejon asked a few questions and then off to get our drinks. We had ordered the potato skins for an appetizer which was recommended by our waiter. So much cheese and flavors came out with this nicely presented dish. Tejon anticipated our needs before we did. Very detailed and observant as the evening progressed. Now my food......I ordered the 6 oz sirloin well done, with fries and a salad. It's just perfectly cooked every time and the food is always fresh. After dinner....you guessed it was Tejon and other staff acknowledging the birthday guest they had. Our family of six visited this week. The Good: Our waiter, Gabriel, was very outgoing and friendly. The rolls were, as always, warm and yummy! We also ordered the blooming Onion and it was cooked perfectly. Overall, the fam was pleased with their meals. The Not as Good: I didn't especially love my Beef Tips. The beef wasn't as tender as I would have liked and it seemed like the plate had sat under the warmers while waiting for the rest of our order. My vegetarian daughter ordered the green beans as a side and wasn't aware that there would be bacon pieces sprinkled throughout. Lastly, my son ordered a Combo Appetizer plate as his meal. I was so excited to see that Texas Roadhouse has finally come to this area; I'd been to one in Denver and I liked it & looked for one here, but alas, there wasn't one until now. We had tried a different restaurant first, and when that place had an hour wait, we left, but had the forethought to get on the waiting list at Texas Roadhouse. We texted when we got there as instructed, but the directions told us to wait in the car, which we weren't thrilled about. We started to look for another restaurant (it was a beautiful Saturday night during COVID, but we were fully vaccinated), and just as we started to try a 4th place, we got the text to come in. Fortunately, we were just across the street, so it wasn't a problem. When we got in, they put us "on deck" in the 2nd spot. Understandably, they took the people from the 1st spot before us, and seated other people there. But then, they took those people before us; they said they were on the waiting list first. Fortunately, it was only another couple minutes before they took us. My issue with their system is that it doesn't give a good estimate of waiting time; during the whole time, it said the wait was 85-105 minutes. Anyhow....When they sat us down (they literally sat every other booth, so it was definitely 50% capacity) they brought the delicious rolls and cinnamon butter. They also brought our drinks quickly. I ordered the chicken critter combo and filet with a house salad and a baked potato. The salad was really good -- especially for a side salad. It was plentiful, with a nice variety of things in it. My entree was very good, and there was so much that I took half of it home (along with a roll and butter). My sister had the country fried chicken and was shocked at how big it was! She said it was also really good and also took half home. I must also mention that they are doing a really good job with safety protocols. They have installed plexiglass between the booths (high enough up that you don't actually notice it), and they are cleaning the menus and the condiment bottles.
