We stopped by C's for lunch before doing a little shopping. This is located next to the container store, across the street from 12 Oaks mall. Since it wasn't too busy, we were seated right away and had a basket of bread (the bread and olive oil dip was so good!) and water shortly after. Service was quick and friendly. We ordered the Tuscan chicken, with a side of broccoli and chicken noodle soup and a trio of fettuccine Alfredo, lasagna and chicken parm. The TC was seasoned well..a bit overcooked but the side of broccoli helped. The trio was okay. Definitely better at OG. The lasagna tasted like it wasn't fresh (the bottom of it was a bit dense and almost burnt). The CP had a light breading and the FA's noodles were thinner but tasted fine. For both entrees (no apps or desserts) the total came out to over $50. read more

First time trying Carrabba's and it was okay. The lentil sausage soup was good, but lacked the sausage part. The bread seemed like it had been sitting out for a while since the cut side was sort of hard like the crust. The chicken Bryan was pretty good though, but the broccoli was either over cooked or was frozen because it was a bit mushy and too salty. The service was okay and the ambiance was nice, but I don't think I'd ever crave this place. read more

me and my wife were excited to come here, from the start the girl in the front didn't greet us or ask if we wanted a table or booth, she just said follow me and tried to sit us down then we asked if we could switch to a booth ..... sat for 20 mins no water or anything... we got up and left. Went for late lunch/early dinner with my husband on Valentine's Day. It was very busy but we were still seated immediately. Our server, Grace, was attentive and friendly. Our orders were perfect and tasted delicious. Although it was very busy, it was not too loud for conversation. We ended up taking another portion of lasagne home for $10, which is a fantastic bargain, considering it's $20 in restaurant. This Carrabbas is nice. The food is good I always like their bread and mezzaluna. Always consistent.

While the food at this Carrabba's location was excellent, the service unfortunately fell far short. The lasagna was the perfect size, fresh, served hot, and tasted great. The chicken piccata was also delicious, and the soup had wonderful flavor, though it was served extremely hot. Despite the restaurant not being busy, the level of service was disappointing. No cheese was offered or brought with either the soup or entrées. We had to ask for water refills, and when our server, Lillian, refilled the water, she spilled water and ice across the table without making any effort to clean it up or apologize. After payment, the check was tossed onto the table as she continued walking by, with no acknowledgment or closing interaction, which felt dismissive and unprofessional. There were also no check-ins during the meal to ask how things were or if we needed anything until we were almost finished with our meals. It was very noticeable that our server was far more attentive and engaged with customers ordering beverages, desserts, takeout meals, or up charges. This created the impression that guests who do not order higher-priced items or beverages are treated as less of a priority. While the food quality was strong across everything we ordered, this location in Novi is in need of management's attention when it comes to consistent hospitality and service standards for all guests, regardless of what they order. I find it sad that I cannot give Carrabbas more stars this time around. It's been a couple of years since my last visit and me and my party were looking forward to rediscovering Carrabbas. Here's the story: we arrived and the first thing that occurred was the hostesses were plentiful, not welcoming and took us to our seats. No niceties or any pleasantries. Oh well, that does happen. The place wasn't busy as the dinner crowd had not arrived yet. I noticed many groups of employees gathered together and waitstaff were not coming to the tables. One older man got up to ask the hostesses for something he needed because no one was attending to those already seated. For our table, it took a long while for the server to arrive. When they did, it was clear that they were bothered by something and was quite distracted. The server took our order and the we tried to just enjoy the dinner. We ordered drinks, an appetizer and the meal, but they all arrived within about 3 minutes of each other. The soup and the drinks arrived at the same time and the rest of the meal followed. We were not able to enjoy any part of it individually. The service didn't get better and we felt like we were imposing by asking for things that she forgot to bring. Disappointed to say the least. The positives were that the food was very good, prepared well and the taste was pleasant with all the dishes. Overall though, I just don't know if I will take the chance to return, even for good food. Management needs to really support the servers and host staff with guidance and communication so they can better service their customers. read more

Used to love carrabbas but hadnt been in years. Decided to get carry out for lunch, the meatball sandwich. Wow, how disappointing. First off it didn't have any mozzarella on it, and there was piles Romano cheese in clumps. It was inedible and gross. Looking at the menu I keeping notes on the things my wife and child would like, after that sandwich I've decided to spare them. Won't be going back. read more

Put a carryout order in and drove 20 minutes to pick it up for them to tell me when I got there they do not have enough to fill carryout orders and are only doing dine in services and sorry for the inconvenience... we eat here at least twice a month and on top of that get the same thing for carryout every single time we order, but to disregard loyalty and time is not the way you treat customers spending $100 on a carry-out!!! I bought a $88 dinner for myself which would've been the trio with filet mignon chicken Bryant and mashed potatoes the filet mignon that I chose, and I know it was a step up from sirloin came in exactly as they described however, tough tough tough when you pay for a steak as a filet mignon at 50 bucks you expect it to melt in your mouth. We came here on a very snowy and rainy night. It was great because we were able to sit at the bar and wait for our table and we waited about 20 minutes. The good news is that you can order drinks and appetizers at the bar before you're actually seated for dinner and that really worked out. Our server was Ambre I believe or Ashlee but I'm pretty sure her name was Ambre and she was fantastic. We ordered three pasta dishes with one of us sharing with one of our children. Everything came out so well prepared and tasted very delicious. Our server was top notch she actually was very very kind and sweet and we actually really felt warmly welcomed in attended to. We probably had not been here for 7-10 years. Had a gift card from a friend and used it today. Oh. My. Word!!! It was SO GOOD. We were seated immediately and our server was prompt, friendly and very helpful. Our drink orders came out immediately followed soon after by our dinner salads and our entrees. Everything was FRESH (GREAT CEASAR SALAD). The portions generous and my martini was only $9.99!!! Good luck finding that kind of price anywhere else in metro Detroit!!! We had two full dinners and two adult beverages and the total was $67. That's pretty good these days!! If you haven't been here in a while, try it again! We WILL be back!!!! This review is for takeout tonight (11/7/20). My parents and I ordered it over the phone, and then they went to pick it up. The reason we ordered over the phone vs. online is because they (and other Bloomin' Brands like Outback) do 10% off for AARP members - just show your card at pickup or at your table. The food itself was about a 4/5 from me but my mom said that Elizabeth, the hostess, gave them excellent customer service, which bumps this review to 5 stars. I believe she was the hostess, and not in charge of takeout, but she made sure they got their correct bill, with the AARP discount, and that we got our food. We ordered: -Four cheese and sausage stuffed mushrooms: okay, but pricey for only four mushrooms. -Chicken Marsala (my meal) with Caesar salad and garlic mashed potatoes: pretty good. -Chicken Bryan (mom's meal) with chicken soup and pasta Pomodoro: my mom liked it but said the chicken was maybe a little undercooked. -Rigatoni with sausage (dad's meal) with chicken soup: my dad said it was good but he likes Maggiano's Taylor Street Ziti better. -Tiramisu: very tasty. (Though again, Maggiano's might have a slight advantage) I used to go to the Troy location for their happy hour all the time and I remembered the food as being good; I'd give it an average 4/5 this time, although the dinner prices are a bit expensive (about $17.99-$19.99 for chicken/pasta dishes). read more

Service was great and food was fine but we were bombarded by fruit flies throughout our meal. So bad that I don't think we'll ever come back. We made it a game with kids, who could kill more, I won with 5. Second place and was 3. As we were getting ready to leave, my empty wine glass had 3 flies land on it and the bread had an additional 3. 1/9/2025 we went to Carrabas for dinner. After we ordered we asked about why it was so cold, THE HEAT WASN'T WORKING! WOW! Then we received our food before our appetizer. Okay, we were nice about it. Then my husband ordered the veal that came to the table uncooked it had white flour marks all over 2 of the 3 pieces. My eggplant parm was a hot mess but we didn't even complain about that. Between being frozen getting uncooked food and subpar service the experience was AWFUL!!! Our server definitely was not even on a B or C game. We have been here before but we will not be back again. We had a family dinner here of 100 people, after a funeral. The staff was so incredibly caring and fast and worked hard with a smile! The food? It was delicious! We had steak and chicken piccata and it was incredible! Ambiance was perfect!! The drinks, appetizers, were wonderful ! I can't wait to return for a dinner here! I highly recommend the Novi location! Again, the establishment is dirty: hair and debris on table I was seated, paper stuffed between bench seats...all indications of poor cleaning. I ordered salmon and broccoli with salad. Broccoli was very light green and extremely dry and wilted and tasted old, overcooked and just AWFUL! Salmon was EXTREMELY SALTY AND DRY! Salad has many brown edges and dressing was terrible. We came back to this Carrabba's after our recent visit with the Yelp's Italian Adventure at Carrabba's two weeks ago. We were in the area to look at some properties and when we were done, we were getting hungry. From the Yelp Event we had a couple of gift cards, which influenced our decision. We were curious to see if we would get the excellent service and attention that we received at the Yelp Event and we did. We were greeted and immediately seated. While we reviewed the menu, our server, Paula, brought out a bread basket and added olive oil to a plate with herbs which we enjoyed. Then we selected a couple of basic dishes: Spaghetti Bolognese for my wife and Lasagna Pomodoro for me. Both came with a choice of soup or salad and my wife chose Italian Sausage and Lentil Soup that was delicious with a little punch. I chose Mama Mandola's Sicilian Chicken Soup that was comfort-food good. Then our entrees were brought out. The Bolognese sauce and Spaghetti was one of the better ones we've tasted with a good balanced flavor; the Pomodoro Sauce Lasagna has a rich tomato flavor. Of course, we both said yes to extra cheese! We had just the right amount of attention from Paula. And the owner/manager whom we met at the Yelp Event seemed to recognize us and stopped by for a brief chat. This non-Yelp experience was as good as it was for the Yelp Event. Food was great and service was excellent. I think that's normal for them at this Carrabba's. This had to of been the worst dinning experience we have ever had! When we got there (4pm) we were told it was a 30 minute wait and by looking around could see the place was less the half full and many people waiting to be seated. Finally seated, we were given our pop and bread fairly quick but then waited for our order to be taken for awhile, had to get the waitress attention for pop refills, which she forgot many times and had to keep reminding her. Both out entrees came with salads, when she finally realized we had not gotten our food she mentioned she would go check (we had not even gotten our salads yet). She brought out our food and at the point had to tell her we had not gotten our salads, she said she would take our food back and "keep it warm" and then again waited and waited for our salads. Finally our salads came, and then waited and waited for our food which remember was already done and being "kept warm", when it arrived the pork chops were so dry it was hard to even cut with a steak knife, so again our food went back and instead of placing the order as a redo she just put the order in as usual and again waited and waited for our food. Finally, getting ready to cash out and when the bill came she had double charged us for the pork chops, which was her mistake not ours so again we waited for her to fix it, when she came back she had removed the pork chops from our bill which was nice of her but in my opinion the least she could have done, then instead of cashing us out she went and started taking the order of a large group of 12 so we finally got up and went to the hostess to get cashed out and was told no one could do it but our waitress, so they went over and got her to FINISH taking care of us. We were there for over 2.5 hours and never in my life have I not left a tip until now. To clarify, this waitress only had 5 tables the whole time we were there! I love Carrabba's food but their service and reliability is awful. If you eat in the service is slow and if you take out they can't get the order right. If you call ahead for a table you still end up waiting in excess if 40 minutes. Turnover appears to be very high. I really enjoy Carrabba's! Great service and atmosphere. During my last visit we went around happy hour and I enjoyed a sangria at a discounted price. We also had the fresh bread out of the oven with the fresh garlic pesto olive oil sauce they bring out with it - one of those days I'm going to take a try at it. I highly recommend the minestrone soup - I'm not sure if most recipes typically include potato chunks but theirs did and I liked it. I also had the trio which came with grilled chicken, steak and ravioli. Everything was delicious but it was definitely a lot to eat so was able to enjoy leftovers at home.
