Late on a Sunday night, they responded to my Yelp inquiry and Carlos was there within hours. Carlos kept me informed of his eta as he was on another emergency call. He brought all the equipment in and got everything setup for the drying and clean up, taking care to move my dad's furniture. Carlos was very efficient and checked in repeatedly to ensure everything was drying out, also removing baseboards to allow the walls to dry out. Within a few days, everything was dry and Carlos put all the furniture back. When I got the bill, I was pleasantly surprised at the reasonable price! Fast forward weeks later I am constantly calling them to obtain an invoice of charges with no answer. I call the project manager Carlos several times with no response. I finally get the bill and it's $24,0000. They charged my credit card! The insurance company stated they inflated their bill 10 times what a normal remediation service would cost. They decided to turn our upstairs bathtub into a pool and swim. I didn't realize they had left the water running and gone to sleep. Anyways, I heard water in the middle of the night and noticed all 3 levels of our home was flooded. I freaked out and looked on yelp for a water cleaning company. Of all the 24/7 companies I called flood doctor was the only one to pick up. They sent people over right away and Literally worked for 20 hours straight. I didn't even have to interrupt my parents vacation. When they came home and I told them how bad it was they didn't even believe me. I had to show them pictures and videos. Our house was cleaner and looked better then before they left. The crew called me an hour before they headed over to my home, at my request. The pricing is honest and fair. Apparently, the carpet cleaning industry has a lot of schemers who lowball the price and then shortcut the cleaning process. Not Excellent Carpet Cleaners!
