We had been traveling all day and were looking for a nice place to relax. Thank you fellow Yelpers for highlighting this place. It was very enjoyable. We chose the wings, and although a bit pricey, they were excellent. Highly recommend the chipotle sauce. Better than the horseradish sauce IMHO. The pretzel bread is also outstanding. Would definitely get it again. The Multimatum is a nice dark beer with a smooth presence. Does not have the "bite" often found in an IPA, so if you don't care for IPAs, then this is a good choice. We also had the Ochre and enjoyed it, but not as much as the Multimatum. read more

I met up with a friend at the Delaware Car Show today, and the girls picked Restoration Brew Worx for lunch based on their current Yelp rating of 4 stars. I am happy to report that they earned all 4 of them, and more. Every restaurant in Delaware was packed all afternoon because of the show, so this was definitely a stress test. The first place we tried failed before we even got a table, but the Brew Worx folks got us seated and served in a friendly and efficient way. We skipped the beer this time because we were driving our classics around hundreds of other expensive cars while pedestrians clogged the street, but the beer menu looks great. I'll definitely go back for a draft sometime. The girls and I all had burgers, and we appreciated that they came in 6, 12, and 18 oz. sizes to suit your appetite. The girls got basic 6 oz. cheeseburgers, and I went with a Black & Blue Smash Burger. We all liked what we ordered - pretty good little burgers, and nice fresh cut fries. My buddy wasn't too hungry, so he just ordered a medium order of their "Saucy Nugs". These are white meat chicken pieces that are lightly dusted and fried, then tossed in your choice of sauce. He went with honey siracha, and he raved about them. I can definitely see myself heading back for some in their "hot+" sauce with a side of tots. I also saw some pretty awesome looking wings pass by! I really like this place! Small town feel for sure but a quaint, historic atmosphere makes you wanna belly up and never leave. It's a modern environment in terms of design, with digital menu boards for brew, expensive brew tanks to take home, and a decent selection of different flavors when it comes to beer. They also offer a full menu for lunch and dinner. The place was well attended on a random Wednesday at 230 pm; quick stop on my way into Columbus. Lots of locals and people who know how to get a good bite and beer when they want it. I opted for a quick flight so I could sample most of their fare. For $7, no complaints! Bartender recommended some good brews, hit me up about the specials and any other needs I might have. If I had more time I probably would have stayed for several hours and enjoyed more of the people and the cuisine. Recommend the stout on nitro. That one sticks out in my mind when I think back about my visit. Definitely didn't have a bad beer! Will stop back in whenever I get back down that way for sure. read more

They bake them and then flash fry them. Burger (A blend of Chuck and short rib), is delicious and juicy! House made pretzel bread is a pretzel and beer bread marriage! The cranberry cider was tasty, but very disappointed in the very limited menu. I was shocked that there was so little to chose from. The seating was awkward . We were at a low top table and there were constantly customers and staff walking past our table. Love this place. First, they actually make great beer. I have enjoyed many of their brews over the year since I've been visiting this spot. Service is awesome. Really friendly and makes you feel at home. They have a text service if there is a wait, which makes it convenient to explore downtown Delaware while you wait. The food is really good here! They make nearly everything from scratch including all their sauces. The pork rinds are a must. This is the ONLY place you will ever catch me eating a pork rind. They get the pork fresh and local and delivered often and they are fresh fried to order and dusted with awesome seasoning. I like the BBQ with the garlic dip or the jerk with the garlic parm dip. The grilled cheese (add apple and bacon) is also super good. Always say yes to their house chips with french onion dip as the side. Great spot with ample bar space and a giant tv! I loved how the tv was nestled between the beer listings on each side of it. We stopped in, found a seat at the bar right away. We didn't stay long as we were hitting multiple breweries for the Ale trail but the food looked good and the beer was good. I loved that a lot of their beers you could get in an 8 oz pour which is nice when wanting to try different beers but not commit to a 16 oz pour. They had Mad Moon cider for the gf to drink so that always gets brownie points with me knowing she has something to drink as well when we go to breweries. Good spot, busy enough but not too busy. Split the barbecued smash burger(12 ounce) and it was just the right amount for two. The house made chips are thin and crispy. Didn't try the beer this time, so need to come back for that. Let's get the minus-one-star out of the way: the food was not what I would want it to be, although it was well-prepared and appropriate menu options for the space. Maybe just a matter of style preference - the burger/bun/toppings ratio wasn't even, mostly veggies, then a lot of bun, then a good size patty that got overwhelmed by the outsides. It was cooked as ordered; the fries were limp and soggy with grease; again, style preferences. I ended up adding a side salad to try to offset the heavy grease feeling in my stomach. Interesting touch; they have homemade ketchup (or bottled) that was sweet and crafty. Now for the positives: awesome awesome interior and vibe! I would go back based on the interior, the staff, and the atmosphere. First, it felt young and hip but the age range of patrons was wide. There were no kids for most of my time there, although it didn't seem kid-nonfriendly, just a different crowd. The music was spot-on for the 30-50 crowd: Psycho Killer followed by The Kinks. Great playlists for background while you chat or to hum along with if you're alone. I loved that the bar TV's were not all playing sports, although the CBJ playoff game made its way onto one but c'mon, once in a lifetime! Most screens displayed the bar options and alcohol content of craft beers. Nice to not be bombarded with SPOOOORTS and cool to see people paying attention to each other. The long wall had a photo gallery on display; turns out every month they have a local artist display their work and its available for purchase (cash only for the art) but it's fun decor also. They might be photographs, poems, paintings, poetry... but all local. The staff seemed to like each other, the customers, and the space. They know when you want to chat and when they should bring a refill and then leave you alone. Overall another great addition to downtown Delaware's dining scene. read more

It's amazing! The food is top notch! Aside from their normal menus they always have a couple great specials each week. I'm a big fan of their wings! They make all their own sauces... which are all great but the pineapple habanero is my favorite! I could just eat it by itself! The burger, the nachos (Wednesday only), every choice is just really good food. The beer is some of the best around. They only serve their own (plus wine and some other options) but their selection always has something to please everyone. The current Hazy IPA is my all time favorite! Last but not least, the people... the owners and staff go out of their way to make sure you feel welcome and are just really good people! I have been twice to Restoration Brew Worx, once during their soft opening and once for a few brews and a meal. Service both times has been great, even when they were busy. When you sit at a table ordering is done with a iphone. I only mention this because it can make ordering cumbersome. Each order is put in individually first and if you want to make any changes that has to be added once everyone's orders have been submitted. system flaw, not on the wait staff. It is took some time to make sure everyone's order was correct, and seemed like a time where technology was not making the job easier. This is a restaurant with a very limited menu of salad, burger and sandwiches, that come with either fries or chips. Each person at our table of four ordered something different and covered most of the menu. Ketchup served with the fires is homemade and is smokey in flavor. As for the beer, I'm a whimpy beer drinker so they made a Raddler for me, Hefeweizen and lemonade. It was very refreshing. Others in my group seemed to enjoy their beer and the server did a great job in explaining the characteristics of each one. They do have a few guest beers from other location that they do not make. We were hitting a few breweries and hit Restoration on the way home. Our luck the drinks were good and so was the food. The map app had the destination on the main road and we thought we wouldn't find parking so we took a side road and parked behind buildings which turned out to be the perfect back entrance to the brewery. The staff at the bar were very attentive and courteous. While I like a dark brew which they didn't have, I found a nice red ale and my husband liked his IPA. The menu was unique and lured us in to trying the chicharrones and wings. Both were great and left us no room to try a sandwich. The restrooms while single service but were very clean. read more

This is definitely a place to come for beer to hang out and a gastropub a distant second. I got the braised beef sub, was just ok. Got a side salad and the croutons tasted like they had been made last week and had been sitting out forever. I actually asked for new croutons (to the embarrassment of my wife) and they promptly gave me freshly fried croutons which were awesome! Another friend had the burger, he thought it was just ok. WOW!! What an addition to down town Delaware. The burger (better than anything on thurmans menu), wings, fries and home made ketchup and dipping are top notch. Beer... These guys have come up with some great tastes my favorite is their "Big bag of Judgement" a sweet explosive balanced IPA that can compete with the best with a big 8.3%ABV. Their Wit and English style brews are exceptional as well. Only knock is service with them being new i will not judge to harsh. Slow and some mistakes on food orders (food came in reasonable time and faster than thurmans for sure). Owners operators are very friendly and love their beer. Horrible service. My food took so long to come out. My cheesy bacon fries came out with NO BACON, then my wings come out, they were under cooked, tasted like they were microwaved. Then my entree a mac and cheese burger. The mac was ice cold. I asked the server she said THATS HOW THEY DO IT lmao I've literally never heard of cold mac and cheese. Especially not on a burger. I wish the server would've said I'm sorry let me get you hot mac n cheese. Cold mac is an abomination. This place is TRASH. read more
