    RBW Sloppy Joe

Absolutely love this place! Great food, clean, great employees! We started with their sweet potato fries, they were hot and crunchy, sprinkled with cinnamon sugar and drizzled with caramel. So good, decadent really. I had the RBW Sloppy Joe- Chorizo, BBQ sauce, cheese and onion petals on a pretzel bun! This sandwich is to die for!! I will be making this at home if I can figure out the right mix. My wife had the Mexican salad with chicken and she said that it was awesome. I also tried two of their beers and a cider. First I had the Delicious which is a light wheat beer, very refreshing. Second was the Webrewedabeertogether which was a Bock, great tasting dark beer and then I tried the Eat a peach cider, also light and refreshing.

We walked into Restoration in the midst of a fun filled trivia night. Found a table in the back. We were waited on by Beth, a lovely server. Even though it was 8:30pm everyone was patient and we had a great dinner and a couple drinks. We didn't feel rushed being a weeknight. The chorizo nachos were amazing and I think enough for at least 4 people! My husband had the patty melt and said it was comparable to the best he's had.

I was craving brewery food and was in the area so I decided to try this place. The inside was clean and looked like the typical sports bar/brewery atmosphere. We were seated immediately and the servers were very nice. They use QR code menus, and have four of them for food and drinks, which was very frustrating. Their own brewed drinks were very good. We ordered the smash burger and chicken BLT, and the time it took to make them felt like forever. And this was with only two other tables being served. My smash burger wasn't terrible but wasn't great either. The patty was on the dry side and so were the fries, but the flavor wasn't bad. My party enjoyed the chicken sandwich. I wouldn't refuse to come here but I would seek out my other options first.

When I first arrived at Restoration Brew Works, I thought it was going to be hard to find a parking spot as North Sandusky Street was packed. Good news... they have a large parking lot behind the building that has plenty of spaces. The restaurant / brewery has a cool look to it. The brick walls and artwork throughout the building add to the cool vibe. I had the Pretzel Bread for an appetizer. This dish has a nice sized piece of house-made pretzel bread, lightly salted, served with RBW ale cheese & house honey mustard. The house honey mustard was soooo good. For my main dish, I had the Tripel Judgement Burger made to order with Lindy beer-breaded deep-fried mac-n- cheese, pepper-jack, candied bacon, onion straws, house- made Carolina slaw & Carolina sauce. The burger was absolutely delicious. The bacon was off the charts good. I loved the food, the service and decor at this really cool place. Since I was here for lunch, I didn't try the beer, but they certainly had a large selection. Maybe next-time!!!

This was a weird experience... Wifie and I were looking to try a new place for dinner in Delaware so we figured we would try Restoration Brew Worx. We eat out a lot but this was a really experience for us. I got to start out with the good points of our visit. The interior of the restaurant is really cool. The pretzel bread is awesome. The hamburger was good. Wifie had the Italian Grinder with the chips which she liked the chips better than the sandwich. What made the experience weird was the fact that everytime someone opened the door the whole front of the restaurant dropped 30 degrees so you need to were your coat. The first table that We got sat down at was further inside the resturant but a waitress rudely made us move closer to the door - apparently the local high school girls basketball team was coming in to sit there. The service was good until the basketball team arrived and if you were not part of that group you got ignored. Really, not impressed with the experience or the food.

Came here today for lunch with my mom for Mother's Day. We were the only ones in there for about 45 minutes then they started to get busy for a lunch crowd. The service was great we sat at the bar. We ordered the pretzel bread for an appetizer and then I ordered the chicken BLT and mom ordered the turkey wrap. We both got chips as our side. Everything was delicious!! The cheese sauce that came with the pretzel... OMG so good. The atmosphere is your typical brewery vibe. Overall it was really good and I will totally be back with the hubby.

We keep coming back to this place, it's that good! Once we found out that the band Aeir was going to be playing there on Friday night we knew we had to get there early. This place has great food and beer. I ended up getting the pork sliders with some chips and the new beer that the band debuted called Aeir. I've had the burgers there before and they are delicious! Huge, but very good! By the time the band started to play, this place was packed! Keep in mind that Restoration does not have a lot of room to begin with, but they made it work, both the band and the staff. The staff that night were fantastic and very friendly considering the size of the crowd and how busy they were. We will definitely be back to Restoration again!

Can't knock a brewery that's open at 11 on a weekday with delicious beer. I got the pretzel bread and it was good. It's more like yummy bread than pretzel bread. Incredible cheese dip and warm bread. So good.

Stopped in for lunch today but what brought us in was a burger we saw on yelp. The triple judgement burger..a burger that was topped with Mac and cheese, bacon and slaw. But, we were told it was no longer on the menu. After looking at reviews they were posts from months ago. So we started with the pretzel bread appetizer.. Wow!! The bread tasted nothing like a pretzel but so tasty, comes out nice and warm with a beer cheese to die for and a honey mustard as well.. I would of been happy getting another bread..Lol..we also ordered some chicken chunks with several sauces. The restaurant has an industrial feel with brick walls and exposed pipes. The walls are filled with artwork and crafts made by local artists and are for sale. They have a nice beer selection too but we were only in for lunch had more errands to do or would if tried a flight.

And I think that might have been our downfall. We went the breakfast route and started with a Cinnamon roll made right on the griddle. It created this crispy char that gave the roll more of a funnel cake texture. Unique, and the icing definitely enhances it (as it does most cinnamon rolls). Their special breakfast sandwich, "The Morning Wake-up" touts a "2x the size English Muffin" and they were not lying. This sandwich had cheese, multiple meats and vegetables, and I needed to take half of it home due to sheer size. What it didn't have... sauce. What it needed... sauce, syrup, aioli or something to lubricate all of those toppings. The breakfast potatoes on the side needed salt/seasoning/sauce, too, to be more to my liking. It was a similar experience with my wife's Reuben and the fries that she ordered; the sandwich had its moments, but it made me wish one of us got a burger like most of the other patrons.

All three had flavor, personality, and just enough mess to prove they don't skimp on the good stuff. (If your taco doesn't drip, did you even taco?) The service was fast, the place was clean, and my only regret is that I didn't order extra napkins up front. Walking in, it smelled delicious. I saw people plates and the food looked great, so of course I was excited for our meal and almost regretting that we got carryout. The staff were very nice and told us to make sure we come back to dine in (I'll be back ASAP!). Our food was delicious!! I had the Birria torta and my husband got an assortment of tacos (which of course I tried), we also shared the chori queso. The bread from the torta was fresh and soft and loaded with meat, it did get a little soggy but I wasn't bothered considering it was birria. I especially loved their salsas, they were both packed full of flavor and the red one had a nice kick. We enjoyed all of the tacos, al pastor, steak, campechanos, and quesa birria. They were a good size and very flavorful. The chori queso was pretty good, it wasn't overly greasy like some others I've had and the chips were fresh. Overall this seems like it will be a great spot, Delaware has plenty of Mexican Restaurants to choose from but Hacienda offers some different options I haven't seen at the others. Happy to have them in the area!

Backstretch is super casual (given Ohio Wesleyan is nearby - its almost a college/town bar) but great to come in a sit at the bar or one of their booths. It isnt big, maybe 15-20 bar stools and 12 booths and 1-2 tables. This time we picked a booth and a great server (Jacobi) helped us right away. Fun part of backstretch is the staff. Servers are friendly, you can watch the cooks prepare your food, and they have a full bar. Note they dont have many draft beer options, but servers tried hard to get us something we liked. Food here is fresh off the grill and tastes like home cooked food - from their Reuben(which was amazing) to Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich (has kick but so good) - you cant go wrong. This time we added Tots, Mac and Cheese, and the Deviled eggs (most sandwiches are served with a deviled egg - tasty). We also tried Jacobi recommendation of Hencock Tots - wing sauce - cheese and bacon. Should have just made that my meal. Amazing. They dont take reservations but unless there is an event in downtown, you can usually walk in for dinner. This was our third visit in 60 days! Ready to go back - thanks Jacobi for a fun night and see you all soon.
