Last week our house got flooded with the overflowing water coming off the toilet. We woke up to this horrifying scene our entire house floor covered with sewage water. Found Restoration Master's number from the neighbor who not too long ago had a similar problem in their house and got it fixed by these guys. Last weekend we all left the house for a Halloween party and came back home around 4am only to see our pretty much entire houses flooded in water, which was coming out of the water heater. Such dreadful scene it was. My mom started screaming and we were all nervous. My dad called restoration masters and explained them the situation. Guess what? To our disbelief they showed up within 15-20 minutes and very quickly and started sucking the water out. Flood Masters to the RESCUE!! Seriously we had an issue with the toilet and the water wouldn't stop coming out not to mention it was 2am! So I called Flood Master not expecting to get anyone but an answer machine but I got a live person that was very professional over the phone. (The 2 other company's I called never answered I guess its true what they say third time a charm). 1hour 15minutes later Flood Masters was at my home fixing the problem we had in the rest room! I found Flood Masters after one of the pipes burst in our bathroom. Our carpet was also soaking wet and needed help to fix the damage. I was looking for something affordable with a fast response! I was lucky they picked up right away since it was early in the morning. The sun hadn't even come out! But they came by within an hour of my call and when they arrived they were very professional. They did a thorough job with the bathroom pipes and checked for any other potential leaks. Pretty much took care of everything! Woo! They also checked if any mold had formed before they replaced our carpet. They kept us posted on the process and how long everything would take. Looks like I am the first one to review Flood Masters :) so here is my story in full- I recently had a major water damage at my house and thanks God for sending Flood Masters to my house !!! I woke up to use a bathroom and felt water flowing everywhere around my feet. I turned on the ligths and found water spraying full on from the toilet hose, the plastic connection of the hose cracked open and water was flooding the whole house up and downstairs. Looks like it was leaking for a while, since the ceiling in living room under the bathroom was all wet and water was leaking thru the drywall, so I poked a hole to relise the water. It was a huge mess and I soon enough I realized that I will not be able to contain the water and handle it all by my self. I Googled for water damage services in Woodland Hills and found Flood Masters and was extremely happy when Neto answered the phone so late at night (around 4am). Neto arrived with his crew of five guys in about an hour and they immediately got to work. They moved all furniture out the way and packed my belongings in to boxes, they spent a few hours extracting the water, isolating wet areas and setting up all kind of specialty equpment and large fans to dry the place. Neto assured me that everything would be fine and he will deal with the insurance directly and will help me to handle the whole process start to finish including restoration of all areas affected with his construction devesion. Carlos came by every day to take moisture readings and check the equipment to make sure that drying process is going well. It took another two weeks untill everything was restored back to normal and it really looks like nothing ever happened. Thanks a million to Neto, Carlos, Alex and all other guys that helped me to deal with all this overwhelming mess. Exelent customer service and dedication to details. Restoration masters saved us and our house big time. At 3am we noticed our shower pipe had bursted, hence water flowing out with high pressure. The entire bathroom was literally in 2"-3" Of water while the bedroom next to the bathroom was soaking wet, while water level accumulating and raising in the room as well. We were freaking out and found Restoration masters number online and called them. To our surprise Within less than an hour they were in our house. They quickly checked the piping and fixed it, meanwhile checked all bathroom pipes thoroughly making sure there won't be other issues. They also moved all furniture and everything else from the affected areas to a different room with lots of care. And started extracting the water and set their machinery to dry the floor and carpet. I was amazed by the professionalism and quick response. They kept coming everyday to measure moisture readings making sure the post-flood process is going smooth and perfectly. My home suffered smoke and ash damage from the 2018 Woolsey Fire. I contacted and hired R.M. as they were not the #1 (S.M.)or #2 (S.P.) big Restoration companies, expecting "better service" . W-R-O-N-G! They were quick to set up the expensive HEPA and Hydroxy-Gel Generator fans on day one, as the daily rental rates they charge for these is better than owning Vegas roulette wheels! We have an older dog who is ill and is used to being in our home when my wife and I are at work 5 days a week. The dog had to be locked in the garage for the weeks that the crew had set up in our home (he had potty access). After week 3 there was 5 day period when the dog was at a relatives. I notified the project manager of this opportunity AHEAD of time, asking that the final work of cleaning interior floors/carpets and windows be completed so the crews had easy access to the entire house. The project manager relayed to me that they "would do so". NOPE! NOT DONE! We have "fired" Restoration Masters and working with our homeowner insurance agent, will find other contractors to finish the jobs, left undone by the restoration team! CAVEAT EMPTOR!! I am the pastor of a congregation in Walnut, CA. Our church experienced a pretty major flood with a clogged toilet spilling water everywhere from the upstairs all the way downstairs. We had damaged floors, ceilings, and walls. We called Flood Masters, and they helped us tremendously. Not only were they thorough and professional in their work, but their attitude was great as well! Their whole team was helpful to explain the process and walk us through the whole ordeal. They came quickly and started setting up their fans and dehumidifiers, the next day they came and packed up the house and told me not to worry, they would help unpack and get me settled when it was all over. The house was completely gutted, down to the studs and renovated 2009. Somehow the company that comes out to test for asbestos says that there's asbestos is almost every single wall in the house so they ripped it out, as well as the kitchen, all floors, and laundry room. At that point we felt like something fishy was going on so we got our own contractor to finish the work and try to repair all of the custom cabinets we had originally installed. Once the house was back together, floodmasters just came to the house, dumped all of the boxes everywhere, put nothing back together, screws from furniture are missing, stuff is broken. On top of that, when they came and plugged all of their stuff in to the electrical panel, they tripped the breaker for the garage... Where my $600 stand up kenmore freezer was full of food. Needless to say that after weeks of it not being plugged in because nobody was home to check on it, it is completely ruined by the foul odor. When I asked them if they were going to do something about it, they said no because they didn't touch the panel in the garage... There power to the garage panel comes from the main panel for the house, they tripped the breaker and didn't bother resetting it. Unprofessional, the rooms are piled so high with boxes because they just threw anything anywhere after claiming to help me unpack and get settled but here we are, house still in boxes. After a burst pipe due to an idiot plumber, we had to get water out of our ceiling and side wall. I first called Servpro and they quoted an arm and a leg which made no sense due to my high insurance deductible. Then I stumbled upon Restoration Masters and they were super helpful. They came down immediately and inspected the job site and gave a far more reasonable estimate. I ended up changing the wet drywall myself, but in the interim of talking to my insurance to determine what route to take, Restoration Masters was kind enough to proceed with setting up a dehumidifier to get the walls to dry up quickly. This was an extremely great gesture rarely seen in any company these days, so I would instantly recommend them to anybody who needs to recover from water damage. I came home to see a dreadful water overflowing on the surface of my living room and kitchen. I traced the water and found out that it was overflowing from my toilet and it was the sewer water. I freaked out, called my parents who recently had a somewhat same issue with their house and got Restoration Masters phone number. They answered right away and said within maximum 30 minutes they will send their crew over. They got here under 20 minutes, immediately started draining the water and stopped the overflow. I was pleased and amazed by how quick and professionally they got rid of the water and made sure the issue was taken care of. This happened last week and they have been doing their daily routine of inspecting the house and making all the moist is taken out, preventing possible molding etc. 100% recommend these guys.
