Keeping the door open allows hot, humid outside air to circulate through the gym, making workouts less comfortable and, in my experience, bringing outdoor air into the facility. I politely asked the staff if they could keep the door closed, but my request was declined. It seems like a simple change that could help maintain a cooler, more comfortable indoor environment while reducing the amount of outside air entering the gym during poor air quality events. I hope management will reconsider this practice and put members' comfort first, luckily I heard Crunch fitness is opening up out here so I will see what the air temperature control protocol is there.

The spaces now feel commercial and impersonal. - The dining room, once cozy, now resembles a nursing home cafeteria. - Beautiful, home-like furniture has been replaced with generic Westin-style pieces. - Harsh LED sconces and bright LED bulbs in the room diminished the tranquil atmosphere. We often had to keep the lights off to avoid being blinded. - Meals were acceptable in taste but frequently served lukewarm rather than hot, which was especially disappointing for soups. Overall, while the people and programming remain excellent, the atmosphere and attention to detail have been compromised under the new management. This resort used to feel like a home away from home, but now it feels like a commercial property prioritizing margins over guest experience and sub par value based on pricing.
