Last minute preparations for Thanksgiving guests left me in a panic and scrambling to prepare the house. Our family room carpet and couch have been very well loved and heavily used over the past 6 years by our 4 dogs, and 3 sons. Desperate and without time to plan I found Resurrection Carpet Cleaning along with its great reviews on Yelp. The gentleman who answered the phone (I'm sorry, I didn't get his name), just past noon on Saturday, he quoted a very fair price, and said he could have someone here on Monday. Desperation and fear took over and I asked him if there was any way possible to send someone today. He immediately responded, asking if I could give him 30 minutes to call around and he would try to help. 15 minutes later, he called saying he could have someone over in 45-60 minutes. AMAZING! 45 minutes after the call back, Eli arrived. He assessed the carpet and couch. Yes, it was as bad as I thought. He thought he could help but didn't know for sure if he could get it all looking pristine, (remember, 4 dogs, 3 boys, 6 years). He was pleasant and we chatted while he worked. I learned that he has attended numerous classes and seminars, receiving various certifications in different types of stain removal, as well as how to work with different carpets and upholstery fabrics. I was very impressed , but still a little nervous about just how much 1 mere mortal could do. After 2 hours, he had my carpet looking FABULOUS, and the couch looking 10 times better! He mentioned early in our conversation that he cleans his clients houses the way he cleans his own, this proved absolutely true. He worked so hard on the couch, and did everything he could to make it look great. I would definitely recommend Eli, and I will ask for him by name next time! I'm so happy with Resurrection Carpet Cleaning! It was easy to schedule online, they responded quickly and were able to come on short notice when I needed them. I received a reminder email the day before and text messages the day of letting me know when they were on the way. Eli was right on time, very friendly and professional. This company was great. Excellent communication when scheduling and then day-of cleaning. Have a pretty decently stained carpet (dog + red wine), that I had previously tried a carpet cleaner rental on. That was pretty useless. Was much more cost effective to simply have Resurrection come out. I've never used a carpet cleaning service, so I wasn't sure how much improvement they could make. It was incredible--the stains were basically gone, to the untrained eye. The whole carpet (even the un-stained sections) was just so refreshed and better looking! After getting 2 dogs within the last 9 months, my husband and I decided our carpets needed professional cleaning. I checked reviews and picked out a couple of companies to request a quote. I own an apartment building in Capitol Hill and had recently remodeled the basement unit. This unit had been neglected for a long time and finally I had time in my schedule to do the necessary repairs. The main issue I ran into was flooding. There was some damage to the side walkway that leads to the back entrance that was allowing water in. We repaired the walkway and finished up the remodel. I was able to get new tenants quickly and signed a 12 month lease. Unfortunately there was a second leak through the front door that was over looked. I was concerned about the lack of drainage at the bottom of the steps but it had not been a main issue. I forgot my concerns till one morning I get an angry text from my new tenants saying the unit was flooded. I was mortified. Their large throw rug was soaked. I immediately called Resurrection Carpet as well as my contractor. Eli Lucero picked up the damp rug and it was given the spa treatment. The rug was quickly treated. The price was fair and it was returned to the tenants in like new condition. The tenants frustration with flooding was now forgotten about because of Resurrection Carpet's quality service and timely assistance. He (Eli) was on time, which was appreciated, and professionally carried himself. However, although I well described my home to the office who gave me my quote, the prices got bumped up and up, and what was supposed to be a $160 cleaning wound up over $200. That was a very small townhome, with no pets and no carpet stains to treat. Then, I don't mind them asking if they can borrow things like paper towels when they oversprayed the cleaning solution on my furniture, or aluminum foil for placing under legs of furniture, but heck, for those prices I would have guessed they would have brought supplies with them. He did a good job cleaning, but there is a funky smell that lingers for 6 - 8 hours, and there is a nearly crusty feel to the carpet when it dries. Nicest guy in the world, but it was average in quality. read more

Eli is a miracle worker! My teenager had absolutely ruined my basement carpet after several years of overuse and abuse. I was sure we were going to have to replace the carpet, but thought I would have it professionally cleaned before committing to such a large expense. DO NOT USE THEM. I had gotten the tile and carpet cleaned. Make sure you take pictures before and after. Tile Cleaning 1. The tile cleaner broke the grout, which happens. Instead of the cleaner figuring out how to fix the problem, he was framing the discuss to get into an argument. I took pictures of the before and showed it to him. SO TAKE PICTURES BEFORE. 2. They gave me a credit of $20 of fixing it and that was not enough to cover my time to go get it and fix it. They offered to fix it but, I knew that would have taken too long. I certainly did not want them back. 3. The machine does not fit in the corners, so those weren't cleaned. I had to clean up after, as the debris flew all over the place. I pointed this out and all I got where more excuses that the machine was too big. No excuses, just do the job that I paid for. Carpet cleaning 1. The debris was everywhere and I had to re vacuum, when the cleaner left 2. There where no carpet lines on the stairs or hallway When I called the front desk, she apologized for the demeanor and said that they would give me a discount for the next cleaning.
