For Master Lii, it's a solid 10…read more I've driven from Las Vegas to Salt Lake City for over two years just to see Master Lii, and every session with him has been calm, thoughtful, and genuinely healing. He explains what he's doing, speaks softly, and has a true gift for releasing pain and helping you relax so deeply you fall asleep on the table. The problem is his boss, "Dr" Sun. She routinely barges in, snaps at him in Mandarin, and shatters the peaceful environment he works so hard to create. During my last visit, after less than 20 minutes on the table, she stormed in multiple times complaining that he needed to get to other patients. He had just placed deep needles in my neck to treat severe headaches, and I slipped into a deep, therapeutic sleep. I woke up in sharp pain to find Dr Sun yanking needles out of my neck. I literally yelled, "What the F are you doing?" Master Lii has never caused pain removing needles; in a few seconds she destroyed the 30-40 minutes of careful work he'd done. Then she rushed me off the table, insisted my time was up (significantly short of the 45-60 minutes I've always had), and still made sure I paid for a session that left me worse than when I arrived. She's greedy. That's why she wanted me off the table, for another patient. She didn't care that I'd waited 30 minutes beyond *my* scheduled appointment. I later wrote her a letter expecting at least an apology or explanation. I got nothing. That silence tells you everything about how little she respects her patients or her own staff. Bottom line: Master Lii is an exceptional practitioner: calm, kind, skilled, and deeply respectful. "Dr" Sun is an angry, greedy owner whose interference actively harms the quality of care. If you go, insist on Master Lii and make it clear you do not want "Dr" Sun involved in your treatment. As much as I value his work, I won't be returning until he's in his own clinic--when that happens, I'll happily make the drive again.

She seemed thorough during the appointment and removed a few moles, I did not feel comfortable with her bedside manner or the way my concerns were addressed. I was also surprised that the biopsy specimens were sent to a laboratory that was out of my insurance network, which resulted in unexpected costs. My biggest concern is the scarring from the mole removals. None of the moles were cancerous, yet I was left with noticeable scars on my leg. I've had other medical professionals, including plastic surgeons, comment on the appearance of the scars and ask who performed the procedure. Based on my personal experience, I would not choose to return to this provider. This version is professional, clearly explains why you were dissatisfied, and sticks to your personal experience rather than making claims about the doctor's overall quality.

I scheduled a 90-minute first time session with Aidan, and we talked through why I was there and his process. Since I'd never done this before I was feeling a little nervous, but he was so kind and understanding and made me feel so comfortable. I started by lying on my back and he explained everything he was doing as he did it. It wasn't painful at all! You could feel the smallest prick when the needles went in, but they were so thin and small that it was very light. He then left the room and let me lay on the table and just enjoy the acupuncture. This was literally the most relaxed I've ever felt in my whole life. I can't stop thinking about it! When he first said he was going to let me lay for about 20 minutes I was so worried that my mind would start racing and I would hyper focus on any pain points throughout my body. The exact opposite happened and I was insanely relaxed. I wouldn't say I was skeptical going into the session, but I definitely didn't expect to feel this at peace. My mind was clear for the first time in my life and I felt so good! After 20 minutes Aidan came back and I laid on my stomach and we focused on the part of my back that's been causing me pain. He's also a licensed massage therapist so he did some massage techniques hand in hand with his acupuncture, put some heat on the area of pain and let me sit for another 20 minutes. After that I was done! When he removed the needles, I got up and was able to raise my arms without pain for the first time in WEEKS.
