We had a MILGARD-brand sliding glass door screen ruined by a condominium homeowners association…read moremanagement company's handyman. That was typical in that a couple of them had been paying their family members to do maintenance and repairs and most everything we've seen that they touched was a mess including our screen door. They had decided to try to cover-up that the roof sheathing had holes in it large enough that you could put a basketball through them. So, they nailed wood scraps under the eaves without even painting them. But they dropped the nails they pulled (and we photographed) and dropped either some of the wood or a hammer and almost ruined the screened door all of which we photographed and may post here. Well, Luis saved the day. He is a gentleman and a craftsman. He had to do some disassembly of the screened door to make it work again; it would no longer open and we had been prevented from accessing our deck since a neighbor's video showed the HOA pick-up labor from the the parking across the street from the nearby HOME DEPOT. Luis like his friend Scott who is similarly gifted in saving rather than having to replace entire sliding glass doors that have been damaged-- and with similarly 30-plus years of experience in the Inland Empire, these gentlemen are economical Best of all, they show up on time and perform as advertised. You will be glad you met him. However, the other company stated the work could be done in one day which concerned us. Steve stated the work (3 doors each installation) would take 2 days. They also guarantee their installation for life. What we've learned- often the hard way- is that everything depends upon the installation, attention to detail, or the prep. Steve came to our home, provided a quote (we ordered during the Milgard fall sale which resulted in nice gift cards), and sent the installers on the arranged day. The installers were neat and did their work in a conscientious manner. We're very happy with our new doors and recommend JR Door and Windows for your window/door needs.

My experience:…read more So i reached out via yelp to andres and was replied to pretty quick. He was able to visit the following day to get measurements / estimate price. He was nice and explained everything. Plus gave suggestions... I gave a downpayment of 10% for everything to proceed. They then ordered it. Rough estimate would be 3-4 weeks for the entire process. They have a physical store in norco which was being run by Andres' wife. After 3 weeks or so give or take... i got a message that they were ready to install. Well within the time frame.... They informed me when they were on the way. They probably took roughly 2.5 hours. Lucas, Andres' son was present. Nothing was rushed and i saw how they handled everything... They can reuse your old door handle... but in my case, i bought a new one... just because. The price: It's pretty fair. It isn't cheap but you get what you paid for. For the peace of mind... ill do it again. Since i got a door replacement, everything was included. From removing the old one , to clean up, trash, installing... and thankfully.... the door i got doesn't need any paint. So it's pretty good. Threshold was top notch. And it seems water / insects wont be able to pop in. Will i choose to work with them again? Probably yes... Once i opt for a screen door... maybe in a couple more months once it gets a little bit cooler.

I hate to give this a low review, but this company comes out and recommends vinyl French doors…read more Everyone knows it needs to be fiberglass or steel in mountain country, but I find out from my wife that he recommends vinyl doors because that's all they sell in regards to French doors. Then he recommends that the doors open outward at the main entry, which that usually is not how it works number one number two in snow country we would never be able to get out in a good storm. When my wife brings up the fact that we won't be able to get out, he suggests we should build some patio covers. Fortunately, we have done a lot of research and the other door companies who came out validated our research, so sadly, we will be going with another company.
