I've stopped at BREW many times for a latte and green chile hand pie, pastry, or shopped next door. The baristas are always kind and the food and drinks are delicious. Today I lost consciousness very briefly and fainted (I had just donated plasma and platelets). Several people came running to help me and offered me juice, water, an ice pack for my knee, and even a shirt because I had spilled my coffee on my clothes. What a cute little place!! They have coffee, tea, different seasonal drinks and food. Everything we tasted, we loved. I love how they serve your food on boards instead of plates. Just a fun little display. Staff is knowledgeable about their menu. My burrito did come out a little cold and they had no problem cooking it a little longer for me. After that it was delicious. They have plenty of room for a group, or some solo tables to get work done. We will all be coming back to try more of the menu. read more

I came in at a later time of the day and my jaw was swollen and sore from a wisdom teeth removal a couple days ago. I had a few questions about the drink sizes and about the menu and the girl taking my order was giving me short confused unprofessional responses that didn't help me at all. They were not busy and I was hoping to have a friendly interaction, after all my jaw was hurting and I needed a pick-me-up treat. I ended up ordering a matcha, which wasn't even mixed properly and the matcha really didn't even taste all that good. read more

I really wanted to like this local coffee shop on Public road in Lafayette. I was looking to write somewhere other than my house and thought - support local! They had one job as a coffee bar. Provide coffee. Nope. Order at the counter. Iced vanilla latte and a pumpkin muffin was just over $10. They gave me the muffin and a number and told me they would bring the coffee out to me. I settled into a corner chair and started writing. After 25 minutes I noticed everyone else had gotten coffee. I was about to wrap up my writing anyway and checked in at the coffee bar asking where my coffee was. A look of confusion covered both baristas faces and they had no idea what I was talking about. I returned my number to them and told them I ordered almost 30 minutes ago. After some stammering they did offer to refund my drink. I told them no. This coffee house just dropped off my list of possible places to go. read more

Went there for the first time recently and had a spicy chai. It was delicious and the mug was big; nice that they bring it to you. It's a great place to just go relax with a friend. It has a funky/local vibe that I like... a mix of tables (both high and low seating), and what I would call random living room chairs throughout. The outdoor seating is next to Public Road, so constant traffic, but that's OK. Depending on when you go, parking in the back lot can be difficult with the restaurants there (I went around noon and no spots in entire lot) , but there was parking in the front on Public. I stopped in here for a coffee with a friend and really enjoyed it! The prices are reasonable, less than Starbucks, and they have a variety of fun drinks. They have flavored lattes, frozen coffee, chai, apple cider, and all kinds of things. I love coffee, and I can tell this was really good quality espresso. I got a brown sugar cardamom latte and it was sweet but not overly sweet. The coffee bar is connected to a small boutique called Due South. The interior of the Coffee bar has two rooms for seating, as well as a front and back patio for outside seating. This is a really great place to come with a date or to catch up with a friend. I would also come here on a quick morning coffee run. It wasn't crazy busy when I came during an afternoon. Staff were very attentive and nice. The interior features a couple of antiques and a variety of plush seats, couches, and hardback chairs. There is a lot of seating and tables. They had grazing boards, açai bowls, biscotti, fruit, and ice cream pints to eat. They offered lots of non-dairy milk options. This would be a good place to take someone who is vegetarian or vegan for coffee and a light bite to eat. read more

I LOVE this place. The food and drinks are always delicious. The service is great (you walk up and order then wait for your drink or if you find a seat and are staying to enjoy they bring it over to you) the ambiance is super cozy you can sit inside or outside. The one down fall is it does take awhile to get your drink so if you're in a rush I wouldn't stop here for your coffee. It's a go-to spot to take guests when they are in town because of their delicious coffee creations. I will note they are a little sweet... so I tend to ask for half or one third of sweet. Stopped in after the farmers market this morning. Doors were open. So walked in. Was standing at the counter reading the sign that they were short staffed so be patient. No problem. A woman comes up and says very abruptly that they are closed and basically to leave. The encounter was so negative. I said I would never come back. There were no signs indicating they were closed. What an adorable coffee shop! I stopped here while I was in the area and I'm so glad I did! They have a ton of drink options, I opted for their fall special drink! I ordered a Salted Maple Latte and it was delicious. The quality of coffee is great, you can really taste it in your brew. The coffee shop interior is cute and has enough seating to lounge or get some work done. They are connected to a boutique next door which is such an amazing idea. While waiting for your coffee, do some shopping!! My barista came to look for me to give me my coffee (as I wanted it to go) at the boutique shop which I was not expecting!! I adore this place and the business next door, Due South. When I have out of town guests from cool places like NYC that I am trying to impress (lol).... This is the first place I take them and it never disappoints. A little coffee, some nice pastries and a cute little store in house to walk around, chat and pick out an outfit or two makes for the sweetest of days spent with friends. For all of the above reasons, this is also a favorite "moms day out," spot to escape the chaos of our kids and a messy house in exchange for delicious coffee and a side of shopping for cute clothes while supporting a local business. I am typically a black coffee, no cream kind of gal and a their brew coffee is a definite win, but their lattes and specialty drinks are also worth giving a try! For anyone needing gluten-free friendly foods, they always have a nice selection of muffins and scones. My gluten full friends speak very highly of their pastries and croissant sandwiches as well. Lucky my friend told me about this cool spot, I love everything about it! This family owned place has it all, wonderful atmosphere, very friendly staff and delicious drinks and food. The location is convenient with plenty of parking and a home goods store attached to the coffee shop to browse around while they prepare your order. The room is very open with plenty of seating, and in this covid-19 era, my friend and I felt comfortable relaxing at one of the tables inside since there is plenty of space between them all. I had a coffee but there are other options if a cup of Joe is not your thing. We were joking that some of their Elixirs such as the Genesis ( ginger, lavender, berry and lime) would be even better with a splash of gin or vodka for a special cocktail. I may have to order that one to go and upgrade it at home! They also have a limited food menu and the spinach artichoke hand pie was absolutely delicious, makes me want to try the others (they are fruit ones too!) Great local place! read more

I'm also bragging about a great experience I had today BREW in Lafayette Colorado. Not many coffee shops in Colorado can move me to think of shops I've been to with a sense of its own space and an idea of who it is. This place is well thought out, it's called design. My visit was a complete experience, from the helpful staff, to the decor, the coffee and the way my meal was served. It was all done with intention and that's why I intend to go back. This was a really cute coffee shop attached to a fun little store. They had a bunch of nondairy milks and good tables etc. to do your work or just chat with a friend. They also had pastries. I am so happy I found this coffee shop!! By far one of the best coffee shops I have found in Colorado. I really enjoyed the cinnamon vanilla oat milk latte - the espresso was absolutely perfect! Not bitter, not acidic, it just really blended well with the rest of the drink. The pastries they have are also super delicious. They have nice open seating, but it gets busy so you may have to go earlier in the day to snag a seat! I highly recommend going to Brew, you won't be disappointed. read more

What a treasure located in Lafayette, Colorado! They make strong coffees and teas and offer all kinds of milk substitutes. It's a classic coffee shop where when you dine in, you get a large full cup served in a mug. I sure miss that! They order in pastries from local bakers and they are fantastic. I applied to be a barista at Brew, and got an interview that I felt went very well. However, I never heard back from the manager that interviewed me, Christine. I emailed on 3 different occasions, called the store to leave a message, and even physically went inside to leave a message. Still no word despite those 5 attempts. I'm not sure what is going on with management and why they ignore their potential candidates, but my experience was very disheartening as the environment is cute and the coffee is tasty. I likely won't be returning given the situation. If you're a customer, you'll get good coffee. If you're a potential employee, be prepared for poor management! read more

Wanted something small for breakfast on our road trip, so based on other reviews we decided to stop at Brew. We ordered two Cheekie Cups (an acai bowl made with a blend of almond butter and frozen bananas topped with strawberries, blueberries, and banana slices with sprinkled with granola and honey) and enjoyed every bite. The only thing I forgot ask was if the granola had coconut in it, as I don't really care for the texture/taste, but there wasn't much of it. Service was great for the following. When I placed my drink order, they misunderstood and gave me sweet tea instead of unsweet. Guess I had a funny look when I took a sip because a gentleman (owner/manager?), came over and said, "you wanted unsweet tea right?" He quickly went behind the counter and corrected my order. There was plenty of seating and also a store attached to Brew which was nice to browse through as we waited for our food and drink. read more

I love stopping by here on my way to work for espresso, and sometimes, a gluten free pastry, which they get from Button Rock Bakery. The vibe here is what is best (as service and coffee have been a bit spotty), but the atmosphere of the coffee shop is very cozy, well decorated and laid back. It is nice to have the shop at Due South right next door to peruse some cute items while waiting for coffee. This is a great spot to meet a friend or a quiet escape to get some work done.
