This is one of my favorite spas in the world. The spa overlooks 180 degree ocean view. The fabulous gym and classes (also with beautiful ocean views) are included for spa goers, as well as resort guests. I love the large, full sized coed spa lap pool. The spa cafe Solviva serves pool side as well as at the tables at the cafe. I booked a facial appointment at the spa. With any spa service, you get access to the rest of the spa stuff including the pools, sauna, steam room (under maintenance when I went), etc. After doing self-parking, I walked the 5-8 minutes to the spa building. There's also an option to valet for $30 or $10 with spa validation. I arrived 30 mins before my facial appt, checked in, and got a quick tour of the spa facilities. Then I waited on the relaxation lounge until someone called me to go in for my facial. The person doing my facial was so sweet and answered any questions I had. The room was calming with music playing. Overall, a good experience if you have $$$ or are blessed with a gift card like me. read more

The Spa at Terranea is a wonderful way to destress and relax, whether it's solo or with your friends. It is $95 for a day pass to enter the spa and use the amenities. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I went in person to make a reservation the evening before since they weren't answering their phone.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]However, you may just be able to walk in, depending on how busy they are that day. They said you usually don't have to make a reservation for a day pass, but it is subject to availability...so do what you will with that info![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Their pool, hot tub, and cold plunge are outdoors with loungers and a beautiful view of the ocean. I do wish there was more shade since I didn't like that I had to be in the sun. It would be more ideal if the hot tub were indoors but that's just personal preference. Indoors, they have lockers, showers, a steam room, and a hot dry sauna. Water and clean towels were plentiful. They also have a relaxation room with couches and snacks/tea. They offered vegan lemon mini muffins which were moist and delicious as well as various nuts and banana chips. I found the amenities to be decent and the robes were plush. My second time coming here and it was better than the last time. The pool for spa guest is heated but still refreshing to go in when the sun was out. I really really lucked out and got the text people dream for: "Hey can you make it to Terranea in an hour to take a paid-for massage?" Um, hells yes. And I'm so glad I did. This was such a fantastic way to spend a Saturday, and my first time at the Terranea spa. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Everyone on the staff was very friendly and the vibes were perfect.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The place was very busy, but even so it never felt overly crowded or that you'd have to fight for space - plenty of quiet places and we got to experience a lot of the amenities privately. I had the CBD massage and it was fantastic. Afterwards my friend and I did the dry and wet saunas, the hot pool, the cold plunge and just chilled on the lounge chairs overlooking the ocean. I get a massage about 2-3 times a year and I've never had someone rotate my shoulder and knee joints to help release tightness in my muscles. I highly recommend this spa and Leo! I brought my niece to Terranea for a stay to celebrate her 40th birthday. One of the highlights of our stay was the ($95/person for hotel guests) spa day pass. BUT there was lots of good AND ALSO SOME VERY BAD. We walked in on a Monday late morning & were shown in immediately. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When they learned it was my niece's birthday, they gifted her a 2-piece box of chocolate truffles & each of us a glass of prosecco. So thoughtful![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] After a quick tour of the amenities & help programming our lockers, we spent FIVE HOURS in the eucalyptus steam sauna, the pink Himalayan salt dry sauna, the hot jacuzzi, & the cold plunge, and lying on the outdoor lounge chaises enjoying the sun, scenery & spa snacks. The snack offerings were green apples, very moist vegan mini lemon muffins, dried apricots, banana chips, raw almonds & raw sunflower seeds. Rishi Lavender Mint & English Breakfast teas & lemon water helped us stay hydrated. Showers with all the products you'd need, hair drying stations, mouthwash, toothbrushes & floss, feminine products and even sunscreen were available for guests. We had lunch at Solviva, the restaurant only accessible by hotel or spa guests, the day before. Being served delicious food while seated near the heated outdoor pool the day before was lovely too. The fitness room is also available for use with the day pass. Plenty of chilled & dry towels, apples, gatorade & water were available in there. As the afternoon got chilly & windy, we moved from pool chaises to the firepit seating area with hot tea. When we finally walked back to our rooms we were completely relaxed, hydrated, detoxed, & sunned. It was a perfect spa day. Right now & thru the end of 2025 a day pass for a non-hotel guest is $120/person (M-Th, excluding holidays) so I was even telling friends. That was all the good, & there was a lot of it. NOW FOR THE BAD..... I woke up the next morning with one very red, very itchy, very goopy eye that felt like I had an eyelash in it all day long. It did not get better that day, so I saw a doctor the next morning. He diagnosed me with bacterial conjunctivitis & prescribed antibiotic eyedrops to kill pseudomonas bacteria that commonly is present in public pools & hot tubs. I had put my head & face all the way under only in the cold pool - but did it several times during my spa day. My doctor said it is very common to contract bacterial conjunctivitis this way. My niece was fine - but she also had not submerged her face in any of the pools. Within 24 hours of starting the antibiotic eye drops, I started to feel better. Bc it was starting to KILL THE PSEUDOMONAS INFECTION!! I have had 20+ years of multi-hour-long visits at spas around the world, during which my face was submerged in cold pools nearly every time. I have never ever gotten any type of infection until now. So as lovely as a day that I had, I cannot imagine trusting the waters here again. read more

Not worth the price. For a couples massage it was about $700 for an hour (340 each since 20% tip is included). Came with use of the spa and spa pool as well (which closes at 6/food ends at 5). Came in and were given too small shoes/no checking if they fit, so had to go back to swap them out. Given a very rushed tour, and was left to be. The robe in my locker was not a standard spa towel one, but was a heavy room one, which was not helpful. Tried to sit outside but a bee went onto my hair, inside there wasn't many places to sit and wait for massage -- the room got super full before the appointment time since it seemed like all the appointments started at the same time (staggered probably would have been better for better crowd control/flow). In the indoor lounge there also wasn't many snacks/refreshments -- just water/tea/coffee and vegan lemon muffins and some dried fruits/nuts/seeds. Massage was fine (first time) -- wasn't enough pressure or really addressed tension or spots that felt like it needed it. The room windows were open and it was pretty noisy outside. Don't think it was worth the price for light to medium rubbing basically. And was super sore for 2-3 days afterwards from the massage. The steam room was super steamy where you couldn't see anything at all or barely breathe. The sauna was not very hot. The spa pool was nice, but closing super early could barely spend time there, and the fitness center being right there also was quite noisy and people kept coming out from their workouts and dumping water in the plants. Overall, didn't feel very luxe or worth the price tag, and the layout was bizzare and circular. read more

While I loved the view and services of a few individuals at the spa, I cannot recommend the Oceans Renewal massage by Angelina. First of all, she was 5 minutes late to the massage, and I was a bit annoyed by that because it's a $350 massage and punctuality should be reasonably expected. She kept making small talk even before the massage began and I just couldn't wait to get started with an already late massage so I had to quietly stop responding to her questions. After I undressed and the massage was finally about to begin, she asked if there was anything she should know before she began the massage, and I said I'd love a little more pressure applied in my neck and shoulder area to which she replied this massage is not for pressure as the style of the massage is to mimic the waves in the ocean. I complied and decided to see what the massage was about, and the entire time I felt like she was just applying and rubbing oil on my body with her hands and arms. There was no pressure whatsoever and I thought anyone can gently apply oil on my skin, certainly didn't have to pay $350 for that. She then proceeded to ask during the massage how comfortable I felt to which I told her again that I am not feeling any pressure at all, in fact it's a little ticklish because it feels as though she is just rubbing oil on me. To which she replied the same response again, "It's just the style of the massage--to mimic the waves of the ocean." During the massage, she asked me again how I'm feeling about the massage to which I said, "just okay, as I would like a little more pressure applied because I just feel like it's an oil rubbing session." She said, "Oh no, we don't want to hear you are doing 'just okay' we want more than that; unfortunately, this massage is restricted from applying pressure because it's meant to mimic the waves of the ocean." And then I thought why she would ask me so many questions when it seems that at this point, I've clearly communicated more than once my preference only to be dismissed twice in the same way. At this point, I wanted to quit the terrible massage and leave the spa but I had another subsequent appointment for a facial an hour later, and so I had to stay. I felt ignored and borderline insulted during my time with her. Her questions she asked felt like some kind of protocol but for formality only, and I felt as though she asked so many questions just to stall the massage or to respond only with excuses. For spending a total of $700 for a terrible massage and average facial was very disappointing. Onto the positives--the reservation process with Kevin prior to arriving to the spa was stellar and I would give it five stars if the caliber of service had continued after I had arrived to the spa. The ladies assisting us in the women's lounge area were really sweet and accommodating. The views were absolutely stunning and we had really nice weather outside which made the whole outdoor experience beautiful. Unfortunately, I just can't get over the terrible massage service--something I've never ever experienced elsewhere--and sadly won't be returning. read more

My wifey had one wish for her birthday this year, which was for us to get childcare and go the two of us to Terranea and check into their Spa. We made an entire day out of it and it was amazing. First of all, the drive alone up there to Palos Verdes is dreamy once you start seeing off of the coast to the Pacific. Definitely a great way to start the day already. Valeted (Spa validates) around 11am and went to lobby outdoor terrace to answer few emails and enjoy view before we fully disconnected. Checked into the Spa for noon services. The facilities are incredible. Locker rooms with lavish amenities, steam room, dry infrared sauna, and outdoor lounge area with cold plunge and large spa. After prepping in the dry sauna, went over to the indoor lounge to await massage therapist. The lounge has a beautiful view and they supply infused water, teas, dried fruits etc. Service itself was amazing. Very skilled therapist who did a great job. Added on the CBD oil which was a nice touch but not absolutely necessary. Once you're checked in, you can spend all day there. We changed into athletic clothes and went on nice walk around the property and also down trail to the beach and back. Really lovely walk. Then back to Spa to change into swimwear and enjoy the outdoor heated pool, lounge, and get some drinks and food to nibble on. We then used the locker room facilities to get dressed up for a nice dinner at Bashi (on site at Terranea and was fantastic). After dinner, grabbed our bags and checked out of Spa, ready to head home. It really is a great place to spend a day and if you live close enough, can just be a day trip without the expense of getting a room (albeit spending a few days at Terranea overall would be incredible). read more

Came here after feeling a deep need to reset & recharge. May I say, even the walk over to the spa from valet is amaze with beautiful scenery and the overall layouts of plants is Beautiful. The hubs & I had day passes at the spa & spent about 6 hours here altogether. When we arrived we were greeted & given tours of both our spaces. Melissa in the woman's restroom was helpful and answered any questions I had since it was my first time. And the managers Tyler & Kevin made sure we were taken care of in the common spaces. You receive a nice warm and comfy spa robe as well as spa sandals & they have pretty much anything you may think you may need in regards to toiletries! Even disposable brushes, I was impressed! A lot of the amenities are gender separated and include a cold plunge at 52F, a jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, showers, lounge areas & there is a salt water heated pool that is coed. The hubs and I spent some time at the pool & enjoyed our alone time separated as well. I highly suggest the cold plunge + jacuzzi. I must've went back and forth at least 4 times during my time there, there really is something about conquering your mind and enduring the cold & then thawing out submerged in the nice hot jacuzzi. My one "ehh" about this place from my experience would be the salad I got while there, the salad itself was yummy but the chicken was very dry - we didn't try any other food but this wouldn't deter us, would just try something else next time. You can't beat the location and views you'll get - looks right out over to the water & like I mentioned before, landscaping was beautiful. Even though we stayed 6 hours, I wanted to stay more but we had somewhere to be , this place is soooo relaxing and definitely come if you need a "you" day, to unwind, or even have a girls day! I booked an appointment online for a 90-minute Relaxing Classical Massage for the day after I ran the Los Angeles Marathon. I received an email shortly thereafter stating I made the appointment for in between their treatment times and asked to move to a later start time. In reviewing my correspondence with them, it appears I was able to get an earlier appointment. I appreciated this because the spa and subsequent amenities are only open so late and I wanted to take advantage of everything there was as a first timer to Terranea Resort and the spa. The massage itself was fine and the grounds were stunning. I just felt as though the Relaxing Classical Massage was actually kind of rushed. I purposefully wanted the classical massage because the description stated it is tailored to the individual in order to address muscular aches and paints to sooth both the body and mind. Yes, I explicitly told my masseuse that I had ran the marathon the previous day but I did not think the massage was tailored to me whatsoever. While the views from Terranea of the California coast were stunning, I was not impressed with the dry sauna, steam room, or the relaxation lounges. I brought a book hoping to read and relax but I just couldn't get comfortable. The resort actually seemed kind of deserted and while I had planned to get dinner on the grounds, I actually left ahead of time and dined elsewhere. The spa at Terannea is my go-to when I need a break or a treat! A big reason I come back is because of the service - Bridget by the pool is the best. The second time I came she remembered by name from 2 months prior, and ever since then I've felt so welcomed and taken care of that I've been coming back every few weeks for a recharge. Sometimes I'll come with a girlfriend and make a little girls day of it. This time I had the therapeutic massage by Shannon and she was excellent - I had an injury in my foot and she knew exactly how to support my recovery. I definitely recommend Shannon! read more

I was expecting to absolutely love this place but unfortunately it fell short on multiple levels. I spent all day here and had so many experience so this will be long. I'll put a list of likes and dislikes recap at the bottom. We arrived and had to valet our car and we were offered a shuttle car to the spa. The shuttle driver had a bunch of cash in the cup holder which was an obvious way to let us know to tip him. We arrived at the spa, were taken on tour of the spa facilities and were given a locker. But wait! Our lockers weren't working and we had to wait around for them to find some that did. We then found some lounge chairs outside where we were told waiters would come and take our order. We were waiting for 30 mins and no one came and it was not a busy time. We had even told the restaurant staff where we were sitting and that we wanted to order food. I had to go back to the restaurant and order there. The food was okay - not great or even something I'd want again. I tried the chicken sandwich and salmon wrap. The drink was the best part! We then used some of the spa amenities including the eucalyptus steam room (which didn't have eucalyptus), the sauna, the jacuzzi, and the cold dip pool. Those were all fine. We wanted to sit on the lounge chairs again but there were lounge chairs reserved by someone placing a book and towels on them since the time we came until at least our appointment time (3 hrs) with no one ever coming back to sit there. There should be a rule to not reserve lounge chairs if you're not coming back soon! Ok time for the massage - it was the most relaxing massage I've ever had! I get massages regularly through Massage Envy and the main difference is the fanciness of the experience - silky sheets, amazing spa music, a luxury spa bed, etc. After my massage I took a shower and that was fun since it had so many different shower heads coming from everywhere. I've only ever been to Burke Williams, a more reasonably priced nice spa, and so I come out of my shower expecting a place to get ready with all the things I need (hair brush, toner, face lotion, flat iron, mouthwash, etc) and there was NOTHING. I had to ask the attendant for a hairbrush and scrounge in my purse for face lotion. This was so surprising because I had assumed the Terrenea spa would be much nicer than Burke Williams but Burke is better in so many ways. One of my favorite parts of the night was leaving the spa and walking around Terrenea's beautiful space. We stopped at the Lobby Bar because there was a singer playing the piano and had a great time enjoying a cheese plate and drinks. To sum it up - the location really makes the spa nice but the service, basic amenities, and food need a refresh. For the price and prestige, it needs to step it up a notch! Likes: * Massage was good * Views * Walking around Terrenea and having drinks at the Lounge Bar * Lounge chairs were nice to sit, relax, and enjoy the ocean view Dislikes: * Service for food was nonexistent until we told them twice where we were after 30 mins of not getting a menu * People "reserved" prime location lounge chairs by placing a book and towels on them but didn't come back to the chairs for at least 3 hrs. They should have a rule against putting your things on chairs and not coming back for hours. * Food wasn't good - big bummer since we stayed all day * Lack of basic spa amenities (hair brush, lotion, blow dryers, etc) * Waiting room had almonds, seeds, and dried apricots where other spas have much better waiting room food * All the self-serve water did not have lemons or any fruit it was all plain * Massage was good but barely different than Massage Envy * Overall just not the luxury experience I thought it would be for the luxury price. read more

I have been to this spa several times. I received a gift card and decided to get a massage. The first towel I picked up inside had stains all over it. The steam sauna inside smells of mold. The soap and shampoo dispensers inside the showers do not work. There is no eucalyptus oil or anything in the steam sauna, it smells strongly of mold and I felt unhealthy breathing in mold. There was also a work panel open inside the steam room with a screwdriver and nails just laying around. Visibility in there is low, and that is very dangerous for people who may not be wearing cloths or shoes. Not what you'd expect from this resort. My massage was scheduled for 11. I waited in the waiting room until 1105 and once taken to my room and got unchanged it was 1115. I received my massage which was ok, and ended promptly at 12. So a 45 minute massage that was not worthy of the $330 price tag...but like I said I had a gift card. When I was getting ready to leave I heard an employee tell another guest their therapist called out and their massage was just cancelled. They asked her to reschedule another day but she replied she was on vacation and was leaving the next day, so I guess I was lucky to get a massage at all if it is in their practice to just cancel on people minutes before their reservation. I wish it ended there. When I check my bank statement today Terranea had charged me TWICE, once for the full amount for the massage and another time for half. No one called me to apologize, or to explain their mistake. So now I'm out $520 for a 45 minute massage. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I called in and spoke to someone on the phone who said they had refunded me for the massage and she would send me the receipts and I'd need to wait 3-5 days.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] When I looked at the receipts it shows they had refunded the massage just to charge it again. $220 for 1 hr therapeutic massage and mandated 20% tip ($44). Without tax, the trip to terranea spa is roughly $264. Massage is good but massage alone I would never pay this bill! They deserve their 5 stars for the amenities that come with this experience:) Tips: 1. valet at the front, it comes with a spa/massage. Just make sure to get it validated at the end 2. Theres a shuttle to take you to/from spa. Its about 5 mins beautiful walk, so recommend just walking 3. snacks available: recommend their granola, and dried apricots! Hot peppermint tea is also superb 4. Ask for dental care, comb, etc to spa management personnel as it is not on display. 5. They open from 8-8pm and you can stay all day if youd like 6. At the end of massage, therapist gives you a small oil bottle as a gift 7. Its a small facility so try to go on a weekday if possible! read more

I have visited this beautiful facility many times over the past eight years and it is consistently beautiful, clean, well-kept and the staff is exceptional. My deep tissue massage by Daniel was one of the best I have had. Unfortunately, this spa is not phone-free. This last visit, the number of women on their phones was appalling. Two had loud phone conversations in the outdoor quiet area overlooking the ocean. One could be heard from the treatment area. Another made an extremely loud phone call in the locker room. Yet another was even filming herself and a friend in the jacuzzi. I informed the spa staff, who were apologetic. I absolutely do not blame the spa staff for their guests' behavior, but it really diminished the tranquil atmosphere I have come to expect and appreciate over the years. Most spas I have been to have a no-phone policy, and I don't understand why Terranea cannot instill this. If I am paying just under $300 for a 60-min massage, I would like to have a quiet, comfortable place to relax and enjoy myself. I cannot be the only patron who feels this way. My husband bought me a spa day here for my bday and it was lovely! The only reason for 4 starts instead of 5 is the price for what you get and the facial recked havoc on my skin! 1. The facilities are super clean including the hot tub and pool. 2. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The staff is very nice and you can ask anyone anything no matter their department and they'll help you... I couldn't find my way to the spa from the parking lot and I stopped an employee who seemed to be rushing somewhere and he actually walked me to the spa.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] 3. The food is actually good at the pool. Has the blackened salmon wrap and a basil cocktail and they were both delish. I was surprised that the pedicure was actually the best I've ever had! I wish the foot massage had been a little longer than a minute though.... I also had a 90 min massage that was lovely however he had asked me if I wanted him to focus anywhere and I said my feet and he never even touched them, so that was disappointing, but otherwise I had a lovely day there and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. Yesterday, my husband and I had a wonderful experience visiting the spa at Terranea. Obtaining the day passes was really easy and communicating with Kevin Lee was a delight. He really took an interest that my husband and I were celebrating our three year anniversary and our new pregnancy. I appreciate his genuine character. Entering into the spa it was a very peaceful and had a delightful smell. I was immediately greeted by the front desk workers, (a man and a woman), both were very kind and professional. The amenities the facility offered was nothing short from supberb. The women's lounge employees were very kind and competent. Anna took time out of her day to help me with a specific request while getting ready. Overall, we will return and I appreciate the lovely service and atmosphere the Spa at Terranea provided. First time here yesterday and it was excellent. It's a well maintained spa that is rather expansive. You can use the women's only facilities, or you can be out in the common area pool or gym. I had a massage booked. I arrived about 45 mins early to get ready and hang out. My therapist showed up right on time and everything went off without a hitch. It was a great massage. Spent time after to hang out on the patio in the women's only area. It was so nice to just see the ocean and zone out. It was exactly what I needed for my bday. read more

The is a great place for a special occasion spa day. The staff is friendly. The locker room facilities are nice. There is a quiet lounge where you can wait for your provider that has beverages and light snacks. There is an outdoor patio area that includes a plunge pool and canopied seating. I had a deep tissue massage that was great. I had an early morning appointment, so it was nice and quiet and I could hear the sound of the ocean from my treatment room. Afterwards my husband and I enjoyed lounging in the area overlooking the ocean and eating lunch poolside. A true getaway in LA that really isn't that far away! read more

I'm a Southbay local and had high hopes for this spa. I was very disappointed. I loved the ocean views but you can experience the same view while hiking. The views are the only good things about my service here. I got the ocean sea salt scrub. The service was just ok for 300+. The place was overcrowded and understaffed. I didn't get poolside service because there were only 2 servers. The locks were old school pads. I have been to spas with key fobs or biometric entry. The Spa at Terranea is simply a rip-off. They charge high-end spa prices, but don't deliver a high-end spa experience. I had multiple issues with the spa itself: -The steam room was way too steamy to the point I was afraid I would accidentally sit on someone and I couldn't stand being in there for more than a minute or two anyways if that was my intention. There was also so much eucalyptus in the steam that it literally stung my eyes and irritated my nose and lungs. -I had to ask a staff member to turn on the sauna, and it didn't get warm enough to use before I left. -The jacuzzi was lukewarm, and it was located in an outdoor courtyard where I was getting both sunburned and wind chilled at the same time. -There were no washcloths to scrub the massage oil off with. -There we're no iced washcloths for the sauna/steam room. Although my girlfriend said they had them on the women's side along with cucumber water. The water on the men's side was plain. -They had the most basic toiletries like barbasol, no q-tips, and you had to ask for a toothbrush as if they were afraid you would steal them. As for the massage, it was a huge let down. I opted for their deep tissue style massage. I've had many many massages in the past 7 years, and I was sorely disappointed at Terranea. For $264/hr (20% tip is mandatory) I expect a top of the line massage from a masseuse who knows how to find knots/tension and work them out. I came in with a lot of tension that needed to be worked out and I left with exactly the same tension. This was definitely in the bottom tier of the massages I've had in my life. I've had better for a quarter of the price at k-spas where they don't hide the toothbrushes. The only thing they did right was the service. The staff were all perfect examples of American high-end customer service. read more

The Spa at Terranea is gorgeous, well-situated above the ocean, and the amenities are fantastic. I'm giving it a 3 star review because the customer service was not what one would expect from a 5-star spa that charges $200+ for treatments. They have a beautiful meditation space where you can wait to be picked up for your treatment. I was sitting there, peacefully, and probably dozed off a bit. Then two spa associates came up, looking worried, and said, "You're not Ms. Johnson, are you?" I said "Yes." For a second I thought they were going to tell me something horrible had happened to my husband, that's how concerned they looked. They said they had been "looking all over for me" and "there had been a mixup" and my treatment would start late. This didn't seem like a huge issue. I would have been willing to reschedule for later in the day if they couldn't accommodate my original time. But they said my therapist was on his way. My therapist came to get me and said that because we were starting late I wouldn't get the full time but they would discount my service. I was still so confused about everything that unfortunately I didn't think to ask to reschedule so I could get the full time. My massage was 40 minutes and again, my therapist assured me they would give me a discount. I asked about the "mixup" and he couldn't give me any response. What happened? Was someone impersonating me? Did they not see me in the corner of the meditation room? No answers. When my husband and I went to check out, I reminded the associate about the discount. She said she had to check with the supervisor. She came back and said the supervisor was "in the back" and would we mind waiting. So we waited a few minutes. Again, I"m thinking this is a 5-star, ultra-luxury spa. If I were the supervisor I would have come out, apologized, offered the discount, and honestly, even a small item from the gift shop or discount on something else. But the associate came back, said the supervisor authorized a 20% discount, and it would be reflected on my bill. No further apology, nothing. I'm sad that the customer service is lacking at a beautiful, highly-rated spa. My husband and I won't be returning, nor will we be able to recommend The Spa at Terranea to friends, family, and in online reviews. If you go to the spa, keep your expectations minimal, and if there is a "mixup" don't expect stellar service recovery. read more
