After that I started coming for cupping (so affordable!) and now I'm on my second package of acupuncture sessions. Dr. Michelle takes her time to study your Qi and offers suggestions of simple exercises and herbal supplements to assist with energetic balance. I have nothing but AMAZING things to say about PV Wellness Center. First off, Megan is the best. She is so knowledgeable when it comes to any of the treatments as well as the insurance portion. She is extremely detailed and has the best communication. She is a so wonderful to see and speak to over the phone! Now on to Dr. Michelle, who was referred to me by my neighbor. I was sent to her to help me with my starting a family journey. I've been working on it for the past 4 years and what she has done for me is amazing. I had a huge fibroid in my uterus that was not helping. After 6 months with her I was told by my OB/Ultra sounds that the fibroid just disappeared. I was in shock and so happy! We did get pregnant naturally with her help, but then miscarried. However, the fact that we were able to get pregnant was great news! The most progress we have ever made in 4 years without paying thousands of dollars doe IVF. I kept putting off writing this review because to me, there is no way to express in words the amazing treatments I have received from Dr. Michelle. She is one of the best medical practitioner I have ever met. With her experience as a medical practitioner of western medicine, she has the knowledge and understanding of the pathophysiology of diseases and their treatments. However now, as an eastern medical practitioner, she is an empath with the ability to feel and heal the pain, discomfort, and even emotional issues manifesting in our bodies. I came to her because of debilitating migraines with vertigo. During her assessment, she was able to make determinations of my issues before I could even tell her. She has worked tirelessly on me twice a week for the last couple of months and it has been transformative. I have seen so many neurological and ENT specialists in the past and unfortunately, none were able to help me. Now, I am truly feeling better. I am physically stronger and the symptoms of migraines have decreased. I am truly grateful for Dr. Michelle. She has taught me about the balance with my physical body as well as my spiritual one that needs the same respect and care. She is always patient with my questions. I bought some hot stone massages through Groupon (to test out initially before I commit), and turns out they are not even actual massages. When I called to make an appointment, they finally told me they were only on weekdays, and that I would just be laying on a hot stone bed the whole time, and the stones would not be touching me directly. The receptionist on the phone said I could swap out my FIVE SESSIONS OF FAUX HOT STONE MASSAGES for ONE cupping session and ONE fake hot stone massage. I made two appointments during that phone call. The day before my cupping appointment, they called and said they needed to reschedule. I couldn't get anything until two weeks later. Overall I really hate their service and just want this to be over. I do not intend to come back here again and have extremely low expectations for this wellness center. I have pretty bad pain in my knee, and medication does not control it well. Dr. Michelle's treatment, on the other hand, is a lifesaver. Also, after traveling out of the country, I ended up with the trifecta of pulled muscles pretty much everywhere (from food poisoning), a cold, and a sinus infection. Urgent care gave me antibiotics (which I'm taking), but the decongestants weren't helping much. Dr. Michelle got the sinuses opening up and draining very quickly, and although I am candidly extremely exhausted, there is a night-and-day difference between how I felt before and after treatment. Any time I'm feeling unwell, I know that I can tell her what's going on, and I will feel a million times better after treatment. I highly recommend. read more

Dr. Michelle, Tomoko, and their front office staff are so great! I have never tried acupuncture but was suffering from severe upper back & neck pain so I made the appointment. I was greeted warmly and immediately. Filled out necessary paperwork and was lead to a private room at the exact time of my appointment. (no wait, I love that!) Dimly lit, calming music and light fresh aromas. Dr. Michelle walks in and is completely professional & friendly; explained the process (bc it's my first time) and assessed me fully before beginning any treatment. We talked for a few minutes and then began the treatment. It was so strange to have any relief when the acupuncture needles were inserted in my feet! An odd sensation for a newbie, but nothing painful or uncomfortable. After the acupuncture was complete, she assessed me again rating my pain/relief and then began cupping therapy. Full session from check-in to completion was about 2 hours. In that time frame my pain significantly decreased and my mood was elevated for at least 3 days after treatment. Came here specifically to be treated by Dr. Jenny Wei based on a recommendation from others that have been seeing for a couple years for various ailments and because my insurance allowed me to go there. I previously had gone to another acupuncturist and had experience with them when I was younger too and I would say this is the most professional place I've been to. Her staff are super friendly too . With heated tables, calming music, low lighting, I always found myself coming out of there relaxed, perhaps a little too relaxed as I would want to just take a nap there. I don't find acupuncture itself that relaxing with the needles, but I appreciate all the various treatment modalities (i.e. cupping, moxa, therapeutic massage, estim) that Dr. Wei tries and tries to vary them each visit based on results from the previous visits. You can tell that she listens carefully to her patients and tries to take a holistic approach. Though my long term ailments are still unresolved, I found some relief for some other temporary or intermittent issues that I was having. I definitely recommend Dr. Wei if you're looking to try some less invasive treatments using an Eastern medical model. read more

Dr. Michelle is best at what she does. She really cares about each and everyone of her patients (very hard to find in doctors nowadays). I've been going to her for the past three years for different treatments, and I am ever so happy at the end of each visit. My mom is also a regular at the PV Wellness Center. She initially went there about three years ago because she had painful knees and it was very difficult for her to walk. After few treatments, the pain was gone :) We now go there once in a while to check up on what is going on with our bodies, and if there is anything we should worry about or take extra care of. Dr Michelle is wonderful and truly cares for her patients. I came back many times for various treatments. She does intuitively whatever your body needs that day. Sometimes combo of acupuncture, cupping, light therapy, moxi etc. always helps more than any other treatment I had anywhere else. I used to go to a chiropractor and Michelle helped so much that I no longer have any pain!!. She often spends 60-90 minutes on a treatment. For 65 bucks a great deal. Even my 10 year old son who is afraid of needles, got a acupuncture treatment and is no longer afraid. He now asks to go back because it helps him.
