Tim and Justin did an amazing job mounting a 75 inch TV on a wall above my work space (desk and computer). Very smooth and seamless process, they completely hid the wire in the wall, answered any questions I had, and worked around my requests. I assumed that I would clean up after but they even cleaned up the dust from the dry wall with their own vacuum. I highly recommend Revelation Services, I was a bit nervous about the process but Tim made everything really easy and the TV is mounted perfectly, they are experts and I would recommend them to all of my friends, family, and colleagues. I consulted with Tim about our smart TV that we have never been able to consistently use. Tim explained that (1) our wifi had changed and needed to be updated, (2) we will always get snow and a warning since we don't have cable or an antenna, (3) the wifi card on TVs made in 2015 is of poor quality and will work inconsistently unless it's hooked up, and (4) we could get a few channels for free if we bought an antenna (and which kind to buy). I got Tim and the Revelation team to mount a new tv above the fireplace and to set up a pre-existing surround sound system. I was very pleased with the job they did, especially that they were able to figure out a way to replace the wires in the walls without needing to cut and then replace big chunks out of the dry wall. Finally, you can trust Tim to take care of you - he is not the cheapest installation guy out there but I think his pricing is more than fair for the quality of service and he also will not hit you with a bunch of random charges after the fact. I had a chance to work with Revelation Services (specifically Tim) and found them extremely professional. I sought Revelation Services for their expertise in getting a new flat screen TV installed along with some associated surround sound and equipment. Tim was on time, had all the needed equipment accessories, maintained a clean work environment and he was very thorough. He was able to work through a non-traditional installation as I recently had an addition added to my house that made the installation less straight forward than normal. I first met Tim and Revelation Services in 2013 when he wired my town home in DC with speakers in the ceiling of multiple floors, added the wiring and outlets necessary for mounting televisions. In 2015 he added outlets and cabling for our condo in Arlington, mounted the TVs and set up the HEOS system of wireless speakers. This past Sunday, he came to diagnose and repair a problem we had since the last renovation: repairing a cut wire so we could get signal from the phone closet. Not even Verizon figured it out. As a result, we have a new ISP (bye bye Comcast) that is providing Internet at superior speeds. But Tim had to do the spade work to analyze and repair the problem. I contacted Tim to hang our new curved OLED flat screen TV on our living room wall. I wasn't sure of the wall construction and complexity of the job, and Tim offered to come take a look in order to offer us a more accurate quote. He was able to install just a few days later...in all it was a very quick process from reaching out on yelp, scheduling a consult, and then the installation a few days later. My husband was present for the install, and it was wonderful to come home to a beautifully, cleanly hung tv (he and his drywall partner even patched and painted our wall for us!). He wasn't the cheapest quote we received but I felt confident in his professionalism and trusted him. Revelation Services worked wonders for our small church office! I've had a number of other IT and Telecom individuals come out but none could figure out the issue with our phones or they don't work on landlines. With an old landline system, not properly labeled, and multiple lines it's confusing when one line goes out. Tim did a very thorough job and helped confirm the set-up of our lines, label them, and even went outside and check all the connections. Tim took time to explain his work and how the entire phone system works- now I know how to check the work of Verizon when they come out. Tim mounted a 55" TV on the wall of our living room. I called him on a Thursday morning just discuss options and by noon on Friday he had secured the TV for us and mounted it on the wall! Super nice. Great quality work. We probably could have saved on costs a bit if we purchased the wall mount and 4K HDMI cables ourselves, but it was very convenient to have Tim show up with all the supplies, hardware, and TV and just get it done within 24 hours. When I moved into my new house, I quickly realized that my existing TV and stand didn't fit in the corner the way I had hoped. I decided wall mounting a smaller/newer TV would be the way to go. I contacted Tim based on his reviews to get his opinion. He spent 30 minutes with me on the phone talking through my options to help me make an informed purchase. This weekend, he came with his helper to install the new 55" TV and soundbar on the wall. They quickly got to work and had it up in no time. I was most impressed with how carefully they treated my house and made sure not to leave any mess. They even brought in a small shop vac to get rid of any residual dust from the install. Tim also arranged to have a master electrician come to install a new outlet behind my TV so you can't see ANY wires or boxes! Prices were a bit higher than other companies, but it's obvious Tim knows what's he's doing, carries insurance, and was so easy to work with that the peace of mind is worth the slightly higher prices. He also had flexible hours and was able to do the work on a Saturday morning so I didn't have to take time off work. I highly recommend Tim and Revelation Services! read more

I cannot speak to their "work" but I'm writing this review based on the superb customer service I received from Tim. I had requested a quote and within an hour, I was speaking to Tim about my project request. I am currently renting and as Tim and I were discussing my project, he explained to me the associated complications and actually told me that it would not be in my best interest to spend the money. Tim Cobb is fantastic. I called him in a pinch when my normal electrician couldn't get me scheduled to help me with installing my new Epson projector and 120" screen. Even though he was really busy, he was able to fit me in for installation the week before Christmas! What was best is that all the techs that Tim brought (in my case an awesome AV guy named Will and a drywall repair guy) did extremely high quality work and adapted to several changes that had to be made during the day of the installation. Tim and his team are true professionals with a deep concern for customer service and satisfaction - a skill set that seems to be lacking these days with many businesses. Tim and his team at Revelation Services did a great job with our tough to mount TV situation. We have a brick floor to ceiling fireplace and wanted to mount above the fireplace on brick. He came by our place to assess the space and discuss options with us. After agreeing on a creative solution, he set up a time for the installation. He contacted me to reschedule but when I told him I didn't have flexibility on the installation date, he said he would try his best to keep it and he did. The installation went great and the TV looks beautiful. After thinking about what we wanted to do about exposed wires, he came back one day after I contacted him by text and helped hide wires which included drilling holes though some shelving. I appreciated that the TV was beautifully mounted and that Tim was available and responsive via text. The cost is a little high and could be due to our specific situation, but the service is high quality. I would highly recommend. read more

We had a total renovation of our audio, computer and TV systems. I was daunted by the number of systems on the market and the integration of all the different things. We were referred to Revelation Services and am extremely happy with the decision. I started out thinking I could do this myself for a lot cheaper. I still think it's true that it would be cheaper. But if I had, it wouldn't be finished, it wouldn't be integrated, there would be wires all over the house, and I wouldn't have picked the systems we have now. Tim recommended Plasma TVs with Sonos sound boxes for our house. He did all the installations including electrical, cabling and drywall work. The TVs look and work great. Totally wired into our computer network and FIOS. The Sonos system should be reviewed separately, but so far I'm hooked. You can play any of your music or music services any where in you've set up the system at the touch of a phone or IPad. Tim and crew were polite, knowlegeable and, very important, patient. You'll like the final product much better than if you did it yourself. read more

Tim came out on a Sunday to install three TVs even though it was supposed to be his day off. Tim showed me exactly what he was doing so that I would be able to install other hanging objects in my apartment (metal studs).
