From some light prodding from my massage therapist, the owners are horrendous money hungry schemers and your money should be spent somewhere with more integrity. Honestly, look elsewhere. I haven't found a good spa down the beach- but the independent massage therapists I search for are where it's at.

We also visited the spa while we were here booking ourselves treatments, which as a fairly frequent massage goer, I can confidently say was the best massage I've ever had! It worked great in my schedule and the front desk woman (Sonia?) was friendly and very sweet and accommodating. They asked for a $25 credit card to hold the appointment. I never have had that before, but I get it, with this being a tourist area in the summer...and people can forget when on vacation. Just wanted the review to note that so you know. Sam aka Samantha :-) was my stylist. She was so nice and was very deliberate in her application of highlights. She asked me a lot of questions and listened before we started. The highlights turned out great and hid my gray salt and pepper and blended into my previous highlights. She gave me a great haircut too, perfect length taken off and nice layering. The salon was quaint and everyone was friendly. I recommend the salon and Sam my stylist.

Nails chipping and popping off after 3 days? Chunky, ugly and cheap looking? I was so frustrated! Well, 5th time's a charm! I called this salon at the suggestion of a personal trainer I know (Nelma). She said, "call and ask for Trey or Anna! They're great". She was right! I went for a pedi, a fill and a repair of 2 broken nails. I got Anna. She did both the mani and the hands. Amazing. She did not hurt my toes. The bowl had the plastic liner. The utensils were sterilized or new. The polish looks great. Then, she did the repair, fill, shape and polish on my fingernails. All I can say is Wow! They're perfect. Thin. A dainty, tapered shortish square coffin shape. They are flawless. Just lovely. So, if you want junky nails? Go somewhere else. But, if you want beautiful nails? Call Anna (or Trey, I watched what he did on other clientstoo). Just don't take my appointment time, cuz I'm all about me! Seriously, I couldn't be happier.
