My nails had recently experienced some trauma and it turns out the gel was coming up because two nails had split. I booked same day and was very happy with the experience. The mani room is clean and peaceful. She did a pretty good job considering she had to cut two of my nails farther back than expected once the polish came off and we could see what was going on. I will definitely keep this spot in mind next time I am in town and want pampering.

He yelled at me about not coming early enough for parking. My appt was 2:15 and I arrived 2:10 and circled the avenue twice looking for parking. I came in around 2:17 because I parked in the hotel parking lot to come in to talk to them to ensure my appt wouldn't be canceled while I find parking. He ask me , "WHY DIDNT YOU PLAN FOR THE PARKING?" how the heck can I plan for parking? I asked if I should have arrived 5am because that's the only time I could think of that I would be sure to get parking. You guys have a spa that is in a hotel but the spa guests can't use the parking space.. Maybe that's what you need to worry about Mr John or use that loud mouth of yours to push for a parking area for spa guests. 1other time I came and couldn't find parking and the receptionist arranged for me to park in the hotel parking lot. I did not know that was a 1 time situation, but thanks to BIG J's scolding, I now know. It was strange telling a grown man not to speak to me that way and stop attacking me as if he knew me personally. His response was, 'Well you don't know me either.' Bruh, well that's my point. I am a customer to you, spending hundreds of dollars for your service even brought my family there. Don't treat me like an enemy you have a vendetta against. I won't be going back there as long as John is there.. Disappointed

I have been to several salons in the Rehoboth, Lewes, Millsboro & Milton area since I moved here 15 years ago. Artistic Designs is proficient in technology with scheduling appointments & follow-up with instant confirmations & reminders. I needed a stylist for my wedding & my wedding party. I was unsuccessful with 3 other salons. Moe the owner) "somehow fitted me in" for our wedding trials, and actually delayed her vacation to give us timely appointments. She was amazing. I brought her a photo of what I would like my hair to look like and she did MORE. Whenever I show anyone my wedding photos the very 1st thing they ask is: "Where & who did your hair & makeup? You look stunning!" Moe is extremely polite, kind, patient, "listens" to your requests, makes honest suggestions, but most of all, very talented. She is the ONLY stylist in our area who is certified & trained with L'Oréal and was a teacher & leader in their company throughout the US. Also, Christine did my wedding makeup application -- it was flawless. She too is patient, talented & very knowledgeable. The best part about Artistic Designs Salon is that I don't need to get "dressed up," & have makeup on to be treated special. Other neighborhood salon's staff look down upon you if you're not "perfectly dressed" in stylish cloths wearing makeup--when you arrive; they treat you disrespectfully. You have to "look great" to be "treated great."' Many, many neighborhood salons are snobby and only treat you well if you come in looking spectacular. At Artistic Designs I come in "just the way I am" (not in my NYC best,) but I leave there feeling beautiful! I have recommended Artistic Designs to my staff, my friends & neighbors. They too have been very satisfied with their results. Artistic Designs a small salon, with a small staff but treats every client respectfully & does spectacular work. I also had to listen to him lecture me about being healthy--apparently assuming that I sit on my butt all day eating bon bons.
