I gave 1 star because I am very disappointed with the way I was treated this last visit by JOHN at the front desk. No one wants to go to a spa and be met with frustration. He yelled at me about not coming early enough for parking. My appt was 2:15 and I arrived 2:10 and circled the avenue twice looking for parking. I came in around 2:17 because I parked in the hotel parking lot to come in to talk to them to ensure my appt wouldn't be canceled while I find parking. He ask me , "WHY DIDNT YOU PLAN FOR THE PARKING?" how the heck can I plan for parking? I asked if I should have arrived 5am because that's the only time I could think of that I would be sure to get parking. You guys have a spa that is in a hotel but the spa guests can't use the parking space.. Maybe that's what you need to worry about Mr John or use that loud mouth of yours to push for a parking area for spa guests. 1other time I came and couldn't find parking and the receptionist arranged for me to park in the hotel parking lot. I did not know that was a 1 time situation, but thanks to BIG J's scolding, I now know. It was strange telling a grown man not to speak to me that way and stop attacking me as if he knew me personally. His response was, 'Well you don't know me either.' Bruh, well that's my point. I am a customer to you, spending hundreds of dollars for your service even brought my family there. Don't treat me like an enemy you have a vendetta against. I won't be going back there as long as John is there.. Disappointed

She was great- easy to talk to, able to make suggestions of what would look good on me, and took time to really hear me out. She was fun to engage with through the entirety of my appointment. The way she interacted with her peers also made the environment fun and welcoming and not catty salon vibes. I plan to return in the Fall to see her again because I enjoyed my experience and the result of my partial highlights and cut. The salon itself is also beautiful and inviting. One star down from a five star experience given how pricey it is and the new 3% fee. I forgot my debit card at the time and ended up paying $9 on the fee.

Unfortunately, I didn't take any indoor photographs to post as I was the sole customer, and I would have probably felt awkward taking pics with the service attendant in full view. If you're into a variety of fun soaps as I am, although currently well-stocked, this is someplace you ought check out! As an aside, it takes a lot for me to rate someplace a 5 star, so it's not that the shop was at all deficient, just a bit small, powerfully scented, and moderately pricey, but this is, after all, a quite popular and delightful town and destination!

I know my feet aren't exactly what you'd call "cute"--more like hobbit feet if I'm being honest--but that doesn't mean they needed to paint my toes like they were blindfolded in an art class. There was polish all over my toes, half of my skin, and yet somehow, parts of my actual toenails were left completely unpainted. It cost me $95 for an adult and child pedicure, plus tip, and if you can believe it, I left with my feet looking worse than when I walked in. Yes, worse! If you're into abstract art, maybe you'd appreciate it, but if you're looking for a decent pedicure, you might want to keep searching.
