I'm posting this a little late, but better late than never…read more I visited this salon and specifically met with a stylist named Gina for what I thought was a very simple basic service, just a few highlights on the top of my hair. I explained exactly what I wanted, and showed her my picture of the previous highlight I had done 2 years ago. it should have been a straightforward appointment. Unfortunately, the results were extremely disappointing. The entire top section of my hair turned orange, and there were no visible highlights at all. I left the salon shocked and upset because the outcome was completely different from what I had requested. Instead of subtle highlights, the whole top of my hair was one orange color. What made the experience even more frustrating was the way my concerns were handled afterward. When I contacted the manager to discuss the outcome, I was met with a condescending attitude. Rather than listening to my concerns and trying to find a solution, the conversation quickly turned argumentative. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience left me questioning the level of training and professionalism at this salon. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this establishment to others. I hope this feedback encourages improvements in both customer service and basic hair-coloring skills.

I decided the light hair wasn't for me and she helped me go back to my natural dark hair. She does amazing work and is a super fun person. She is honest and makes sure I don't do anything crazy to my hair (like not cutting it too short ;) whew!). I love working with Kristen. She made me feel listened to and excited, and she introduced me to some clean, natural hair care that I still need to go back and purchase from her! I took a short paper survey so she had some insight to my hair history and goals, showed her some photos and explained what I wanted, and she got right to work. They recommended the intermediate treatment for me but charged me the beginner price since it was my first time ($119). The whole thing lasted about 1.5 hours with some waiting in between since we were a party of 2. Pros: - They were super kind about us being a little bit late - we had some car trouble and we called ahead of time, the lady was super nice and still took us - They do a scalp analysis to show you where your oil, dandruff, clogged pores are. And then there's a hair wash and scalp massage (a very thorough scalp massage I would say - including ears and neck and your whole scalp). As well as I think a hair mask that smelled very herbal as part of the intermediate service. My hair legit never felt so clean - I always have a hard time washing the oilier underside of my thick hair so this felt very thorough. - The ambiance is very relaxing - really mellow lighting and a great quiet spa playlist playing while they massage your scalp. My hair felt SO soft afterwards - They ladies were super professional and it's not awkward at all - there's a private room with a locker where you can lock your purse/stuff, and they have these really comfy towel cover ups that are really easy to stay modest in. - Very easy parking and easy to find. - I wanted to book another service immediately but it's not in my budget currently - but I think I would definitely treat myself to one for my birthday or something! Cons: - There are bathrooms inside the building, but they're outside the spa's own unit - so make sure you go to the bathroom BEFORE you change out of your top haha - I did have a mild scalp ache after the whole treatment - but I think it was because I was holding so much tension in my scalp because during the massage it felt so good. I Think it's the equivalent of feeling sore after a body massage - During part of the hair mask, because it's pretty hot, it was a little hard to breathe/ felt suffocating because of the condensation happening in my nose haha. so just be ready with a tissue or something in your pocket if you're really sensitive to that kind of stuff. Overall, I had a fantastic experience and the workers were super professional! They speak pretty good English so if you're not Asian, don't worry about feeling uncomfortable.
