I decided to try this place since it's in my neighborhood but I wasn't impressed by the service I received and I just felt like I got a really good hair wash and the head massage was ok and felt short. I've been to another head spa place so I had something to compare to. You start by getting your scalp tested and you're shown what it looks like on the small machine - it was kind of weird to see since you weren't really told what was happening until you look at the screen. The room is very small which is fine but I didn't feel relaxed since I kept hearing water draining after as my hair was being washed. You lay your head on this firm foam thing which wasn't very comfortable. I'm not sure what type of hair products were used but I think some kind of oil hair treatment was used and it stuck to my hair for days and I didn't enjoy smelling it. I had to wash my hair 4 times to get that smell out of my hair which was annoying. I wish I could've liked my experience but it was ok and I will not be going back. read more

Do not go here. I had an extremely uncomfortable and unprofessional experience at Revive Head Spa. Before the service even started, I was still changing when the provider came into the room after I said I wasn't ready. My privacy was completely ignored. The service itself was rushed, rough, and aggressive. Nothing about it was relaxing. During the wash, water kept getting on my face from the handheld sprayer, which felt careless. (she only used the waterfall once and that was in the beginning to get my hair wet) She also put her thumbs into my ears during the scalp massage without any explanation, which was odd & uncomfortable. The most concerning part was when the provider went underneath the towel drape to massage the inside of my cleavage area without any explanation or consent. That crossed a serious boundary and made me extremely uncomfortable & tense the rest of the service. After the service, the situation got even worse. She was pushy about tipping and tried to grab my card while it was in my hand. I had to say "I can tap it myself" for her to stop. I asked another staff member if going under the towel drape was normal, and she said no. When I explained what happened, the response I got was "oh next time we know not to do that," which was incredibly dismissive. I left feeling uncomfortable and honestly upset. This was not a professional or safe experience. I would not recommend this place at all. ** Update: After my review was posted, I was offered a refund and asked to consider removing this review. While I appreciate the refund, I'm choosing to keep this up so others are aware because I wish I knew beforehand to avoid this. Tried this place out since they had a grand opening special. They are located inside a multi studio salon building. I had to call them to figure out where they were located. The place was clean, but very cramped (especially for a couples and two employees). We got the combo message and head spa and I felt like I couldn't relax especially when I was on my belly because the head piece had a musty smell and felt like I couldn't breathe. Once you enter, walk through the left side and you'll see the suite on your right. The room is not big, but enough to fit two beds separated by a curtain. Great experience for our first time at a head/scalp spa. We did the couples scalp treatment, and loved it! The room was clean and comfortable. The ladies were attentive, we particularly enjoyed the included neck/shoulder massage. The ginger tea at the end was a nice touch. A nice surprise. I couldn't imagine an hour(~45min) appointment for hair, but it was the most relaxing spa treatment I've ever had! I was more relaxed here than a massage place. Recently visited this spa because I felt like I had so much scalp buildup and needed a good scrub - this place definitely delivers. It's a small little room in one of those big spa places. They definitely do a good job, but it doesn't have that "spa" like experience. They also ask you to pay via Venmo or Zelle, which feels a bit inconvenient. I believe the price is $68, which is honestly aligned with the experience that you get. They don't really give you a blowout so you walk out looking like a wet dog (lol). read more

Easy to book online via website/square appointments but it looks like you can request on yelp or give them a call. Located in a strip mall in a studio with a bunch of individual service rooms. When you enter, turn immediately left and it's the first room in the hallway on the right (I think). I got the 60 mins head care + 60 mins Full Body Oil Massage and they did a quick hair analysis and then started with the full body massage first. They will give you a warm eye compress to help you relax and a massage over the blanket before the use of oil. I'm admittedly pretty picky about massages so this was an alright massage -- pressure was firm. This was my first head care/head spa and I really enjoyed it. I hadn't washed my hair for a few days before, so when they did the analysis I was kind of disturbed. Unfortunately I don't speak Mandarin so they relayed info via a translator app. It felt nice and I fell asleep part of the way through but i do remember feeling very relaxed. Impulse holiday self care gift was honestly the best decision we could have made! The 30 minute massage and 60 min scalp treatment was something I needed and didn't even realize it. I have had sciatica pain and sensitivity since my twin pregnancy this past year and today is the first time I've felt much needed relief since the initial relief of delivery this June. i got the 2 hour body massage and scalp care combo with Jenny. i'm not a huge fan of body massages for personal reasons but she made me feel very comfortable and that's a big plus for me. she asked me if i wanted swedish or deep tissue before we began and i told her i wanted to meet in the middle. i was so tense and tight when i went in and came out feeling sooo loose and relaxed. Ran a lil late due to the rain and therapist was kind and understanding. Met Jenny. The room, though small, was clean, welcoming, and cozy. I booked the 2hrs - body and scalp and it was amazing! Such a perfect gift for myself. Jenny even served me fresh ginger tea while she dried my hair. Jenny asked if I wanted Swedish or Deep Tissue and I chose Deep working retail through the Holidays. And my body felt relieved after rather beat up which sometimes what you feel from other places. So she balanced exactly what I needed. My hair felt clean and soft and it even brightened my highlights. I am looking forward to come back, hopefully monthly if time and budget allows.
