We signed up our baby Luka to puppy-k and we are so grateful for revival dog training. All the trainers we came across were super friendly and just seemed like they had lots of love for the doggies. We looked forward to the video we'd receive after each day Luka would attend. Every day was something different for Luka to experience and we thought it was really awesome that they took him to a bookstore, had a Pool party, went to the park, play dates with other pups, etc. They let me know off the bat that if their was anything I really wanted them to work on with Luka that they would try their best to assist. They showed me the grooming tools they have laying around just to help dogs get comfortable with them. They helped us introduce Luka to getting his teeth brushed as well as brushing his coat. I really appreciated them suggesting I swing by and take a tour of the facility before signing him up. We got to see where the puppies were kept for "nap time", how they were separated from the bigger dogs, the measures they'd take on hot days to ensure that the dogs stay fresh, etc They were always very responsive and were very understanding when last minute changes came up and we had to reschedule one of Lukas day. Can't say enough about the positive experience with Revival. We were so sad we couldn't continue Lukas training with them considering we moved out of state but very thankful they helped increase Lukas confidence around other pups, different environments, and just learning new things everyday. I was instructed by her breeder that she would need some training and recommended boarding her for 3 weeks but that didn't sit well with me. I couldn't imagine myself missing 3 weeks of her growth. I'm new to Houston and read reviews and went by many places. I have a large breed Dogo Argentino show dog who is such a softy. My last Dogo she's a tough girl and needed strong boot camp type training. But this sweet soft boy needed a different softer approach so i decided on Revivals way of training. I took my 7 yr old golden retriever to a basic manners class they offered. Yennifer was the instructor and she was great! Prepared, friendly & obviously loves dogs! During registration for the class I spoke with Hayley & Tailer (2 other trainers) and I am so impressed with this stellar team! My dog enjoyed the classes very much & I saw a lot of improvement! I was amazed at how easily my dog picked up the commands & her leash training is so much better! The classes are small (we had 6 dogs) and the yard the classes are taught in is large and comfortable. Gus is the sweetest dog but once he became a "teenager" he had some issues with impulse control that were concerning. The team at Revival began working with Gus one-on-one and he has improved tremendously. Gus is now back at day training with his friends, and although he still has a tendency to get overexcited at certain things (friends, balls, etc.), I am no longer worried something serious may happen because the team understands how to read his body language and behavior and redirect him when necessary. More important than anything, I trust Revival to look after Gus and make sure he is safe and happy. So far I have been favorably impressed with the training offerings at Revival. I had three private lessons for my female Golden mix with Lindsay at my home. She helped me become more sensitive to when my overly reactive dog was beginning to feel stressed on walks so that I could distract her before she got out of control. She also helped me to find a technique for getting my dog to sleep where I want her to. We even scheduled a home visit with Ana, our dogs regular trainer, and she did a fantastic job showing us what we can do at home to help solidify what is being learned at school. We love Revival! Our dog Murphy is 4 years old and a large Catahoula mix. He has struggles with having low confidence around new people because he was abused as a puppy. Since sending him to Day Training at Revival, we have seen his confidence go up just a little (it is a process) and that is worth it to us. The communication between ourselves and Revival is always very good whether it is the daily videos they send us to show what they worked on that day or emailing when days are getting booked, they are always quick to communicate. Everyone at Revival is super friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and attending to our needs :) Mochi is our first dog and we struggled a lot in teaching her out of her bad habits. We did not know what's the right mentality nor the approaches. We have then have Mochi joining Revival for their puppy classes, day training program, as well as the private lessons. Trainers at Revival emphasize on positive reinforcements in training doggies. Not only does Mochi loves going there, she also improved so much on her behaviour and became more confident at the same time. Trainers at Revival also send us video of Mochi's training every time so that we know what was taught and we can practice at home as well.
