Awesome spot. Everything we got, burger, wings, burrito were great. Fries ares perfect. Onion rings too. We were starving and revival revived us. They treated the kids good too. The wooden tables / booths were beautifully crafted. Very Vermonty. We'll be back.

We tried a blueberry maple smash cocktail- and wow, it was good. Anne, our server, was cheery, information and provided excellent service. It's a great lunch option set in the Weston Village- a step back in time when you walk in to the old fashioned bar and the rustic wood floor, beams and nostalgic photos that remind you of the history of the Vermont Country Store and Weston. It's adorable and the food was great.

While we had a very nice time shopping in the Vermont Country Store itself (spent quite a bit of…read more$$$$), we unfortunately cannot say the same about our experience at Mildred's. It was a real disappointment because we had been saving our creemee experience for this location. The Gen Alpha who was working was brusque and unfamiliar with the concept of customer service. She messed up one of our orders and had to redo the whole thing (such a waste of food). Obviously that in itself soured us, so maybe our review of the ice cream is already biased, but it wasn't that great. The maple/vanilla twist with sprinkles was only OK and definitely not as creamy as we have had in other locations in Vermont. The maple milkshake had a terrible consistency and proportionality--it was way too liquidy with the wrong balance of maple (too much). Green Mountain Bummer! We will likely be back because we loved the store and got so much great stuff. We hope that staff will be friendlier and that more attention will be given producing quality product.

Indeed, this is a big gallery (with a restaurant inside it) so its great for browsing, particularly if you're waiting for your meals. Food is fresh and very good. Had a miso soup while others had a potato/celery soup too. And a mushroom pasta dish to start was also tasty. For main dishes, the salmon was well done with an ample portion. On the negative: The service was haphazard on a busy Saturday night. Go on a weeknight when it is less crowded. They didn't fill out water glasses and seemed to disappear for stretches of time. Also, the "frites" on the steak au frites dish were cold and a plain pasta was a little al dente. Also, the place lacks air conditioning which is 95% fine in Vermont, except on that really warm day. Which was the day we were there. (I should note that our dinner companions had been there on the prior Thursday and said the experience then was spectacular, so the kitchen could've been a bit off on a dish or two). But overall, we had a very pleasant experience and one of the better restaurants in the South Central area. A definite place to go if you're looking for a night out..

Let me start by saying this review isn't about the food. I never got to try the food because we…read morewere told this establishment is reservations only. So to save someone some grief after driving long distances to dine here and be turned away...you've been warned, you will not find this information on their website either. I checked! We didn't go on a busy night, there was only 5 tables seated and the place was otherwise empty. The attitude that we encountered being told we cannot be accommodated that night would not be something tolerable in the hospitality business and we're glad we didn't spend any money here. We could have easily made reservations for next time if the guy did not let out a god awful sigh like we were I interrupting something. I'm sure the food would have been good, but the service we received was absolutely terrible.

My…read morefriends got the campfire latte (which I heard tastes "just like a campfire" from the toasted marshmallows), a delicious Chai, and a mini waffle as well! It's a very small space but very popular! Aside from the chalk board drink menu, there is a TV in the corner that displays ways to customize your drinks by making them a "campfire" drink or a "nutty Vermonter" drink, etc. Ofc there is also a station to add milk, sugar, etc on your own too. The majority of our group was ordering drinks inside but some stayed outside but the cozy firepit to warm up which was just perfect! I returned the next day on a mission for a yummy pick me up before our drive home and ordered a Nutty Vermonter Matcha Latte. The "nutty vermonter" add on includes pistachio and maple syrup. I balked a bit that the price tag was over $10 (before tip) but in a happy accident, the barista got my drink wrong (gave me a Nutty Vermonter latte sans matcha), so after she remade mine, she asked if I wanted the other one too. It worked out that I got a creamy, delicious drink (exactly what I wanted) and our driver taking us back home got a sweet pistachio latte too. 10/10 from both him and me!

We had a beautifully scenic ride here. Once we arrived we found parking to be easy since it's summer and not the busy season of the area. Then once we walked up a flight of stairs we found the coffee shop and all the stores and other restaurants nearby too. Despite the name Upper Standard Coffee don't be fooled they looked as though they do a whole lot more than that. They had a case of some baked goods, waffle breakfast sandwiches and also advertised both ice cream and pizzas. Also besides coffee they had lotus energy drinks and I saw mentions of espresso martinis and other alcoholic beverages. Truly lots of options. The space inside is quite small so if it gets busy I assume the line would be outside quite quickly. They did have some chairs outside to enjoy the summer weather with your food or drink of choice. My wife and I both wanted to try one of their flavored coffee/latte drinks. Some of them being Campfire (s'mores), White Mountain (white mocha and lavender), Lavender Matcha. All of the options plus more sounded tempting. We did settle on White Mountain for my wife while I chose the French Toast. Both have tons of flavor and if this were local to us we would be here often! If you find yourself at Stratton Mountain Village and want coffee or a bite to eat go here!
