We couldn't finish it and took the rest home for the next day... so I really consider it a $15 meal X 2 meals. We also saw dinners going to other tables, like fried whole bellied clams, fish and chips, burgers, and more, and they all looked equally fantastic. We will definitely be back to try them as well. Crowd is mixed between us locals & the tourists & visitors; wide age range. I think my only complaint is that the wine glasses have much more room for wine in them than is now dispersed. We ended up finding both at Baked. When we walked in, we saw a few big bakery cases filled with pastries, muffins, and all sorts of baked goods. A little further into the space, we saw a reception stand for their full service, sit-down restaurant. We just wanted a beverage and a bakery treat, so that meant we couldn't sit in the restaurant, but luckily, we grabbed the only table in front of the bakery cases. It was quite a chore narrowing down our order from their many drinks and baked goods, but eventually we decided on a Cold Vanilla Blueberry Latte ($6), a Hot Banana Bread Latte ($5), a Macaroon ($3.75), and an Orange Cranberry Scone ($4). The cold latte and scone were mine and I enjoyed both a lot. The latte had great blueberry flavor and the scone was fantastic. We shared the baked treats, and the macaroon was great too, with plenty of chocolate chips, and a freshly made gooey consistency. We both noted how fresh everything was. The service is comically bad with youngish kids at the counter who have not been trained, are slow and not at all welcoming. There are new faces in there every day. My last trip was earlier this week when my order was rung up at $10.51. I rarely use cash but had $11 and asked the young and confused employee if I could take a penny out of the tip jar so I could have 2 quarters change for parking meters. The minute I laid hands on that thing, a blonde haired middle aged woman literally flew out of the back and told me to get my hand out of the tip jar. Kinda chuckled and said Do you think I'm a thief?" Mind you, I am an elderly, completely respectable woman. I told her the girl had given me permission to get a penny ( waited for her to volunteer but she was too clueless). She said she hadn't heard that and to NEVER touch the tip jar. Maybe there has been theft before? But by an older daily customer? I was humiliated and terribly upset, especially as a long line of customers looked on. I am asking for an apology.
