I normally do not leave negative reviews but every time I see my hair I know it is needed.. Jen was my hairstylist and my goal is not to shame just bring awareness. This was my first time getting my hair done, therefore I decided to do extensive research. After checking out the Instagram of this stylist and reviews of this place, I finally decided to go for it. Side note* I NEVER apply heat or put any damaging products on my hair so it was super important for me to find someone without rushing the process. * I had asked for a balayage and knew I DID NOT want highlights yet somehow ended up with bad highlights. First, I was messaged at 1:00am (the night/day of my appointment) and was asked to reschedule my 9:30 am appointment for 10:30am. Although it was a last minute request I made the accommodations.. then the morning of, I was asked to come in at 10:00am instead. When I arrived the stylist was working on her friends hair(possibly why I was asked to reschedule to take in a last minute friend??) She then asked me to wait while she continued to work with her which I did not mind and patiently waited. Once she finally started on my hair, she began by bleaching the front and one side of my hair, she then asked me to wait to the side so she could go back and fourth between her friend and me. Again, I did not mind because I did not think she would end up being careless with my hair. However, after over 30 min of waiting, my face and eye started burning from having the bleach so long. She then rinsed the only side she had actually done(again by this point I was annoyed but never complained and continued to trust her..). She continued to the next side, then again went back to her friend(to put on extensions, tone, and haircut). After, she finished with her friend she rinsed the other side of my hair and finally starts working on the back. Because of this inconsistency in times, the bleach came out SUPER bright on one side and darker on the back. Even after she applied the toner, my hair came out with about 5 different shades of random streaks(the front and one side is grayish, the other side is light blonde and the back is a darker blonde). I did not ask for money back or a redo and even tipped her something because by that point I was ready to leave. I just wanted to post because this is the feedback that I rely on when looking for a place. Also, just something to consider for the stylist.. when doing a customers hair, please be mindful because it is an expensive investment especially when it doesn't come out right. I am sad that it came out this way and now I have to pay again to get it redone and fixed by someone else. The worst part is that the healthy hair I came in with is now dry and some parts even look fried. I even invested in the shampoos I was recommended and followed the care instructions yet the only way to fix this is to go to someone new. I honestly don't like leaving bad reviews but I also don't think it was right. read more

I specifically came to this salon a few years ago when my hair was curly (it is now wavy/mostly straight). Tiffany does an amazing job with cutting my hair. She does what I ask (which is so rare! I feel that many hairstylists feel they know what is best for you, but aren't willing to work with your vision). Long story short, I have been a loyal customer ever since. I love that Tiffany cuts hair dry which prevents the length being removed from my hair. They always do an amazing blowout afterwards. The salon is clean and they use Davines hair products, which is one of my favorite brands. They are on the pricey side, but I feel the service I receive here is excellent and I always leave loving my hair. read more

I just happened to walk in because I knew I needed a trim. I have long hair and I loved how Tiffany gave me a consultation before she cut it. She really wants her customers to have to best look for their faces and now I have a hairstyle that complements my facial structure :) What I also love is that she cuts hair DRY! Revive is a hidden gem in Glendora! The salon is very clean and modern with a touch of shabby chic. Tiffany cut and colored my hair. I LOVED the results! She didn't just cut my hair but explained to me the science behind cutting hair and the do's and don'ts for my face structure. I was pleasantly surprised at the shampoo bowl. Normally a bit of a painful experience because of the neck rest. But at Revive you get to lay on a massage table as they shampoo your hair. It was amazing and relaxing and there was no uncomfortable neck pain! Tiffany, the owner is on the cutting edge of the latest styles and trends. She had just gone to a pastels training and showed me some pictures of the amazing new trends that are so hot right now. Since my visit I have sent my mother, a friend and a co-worker and they also loved the way their hair turned out. What a great experience I had at Salon Revive! From the moment I walked in I was warmly welcomed by the staff, enjoyed the music playing throughout the salon, and most of all the genuine care I received from Megan, my stylist. I'm a client of Jennifer Lopez and I think she is great. She accomodates my schedule, often coming in on Sunday's to see me. The only complaints I have are the chairs and product availability. Oh my goodness, the chairs are so uncomfortable. They do not sell hair products like you would see in other salons. I would come to this salon over and over again! I called at 10 am right when they opened. I was greeted by Mysti and asked if there were any openings since I was so last minute and she booked me right at 11am. I had read great reviews about her on yelp so i had a sense of trust right away. Walked in about 5 minutes early and she got to me right away. The store was decorated christmas themed and it was awesome! I sat in her booth and explained to her what i wanted and she explained how it'd look and we adjusted it to my work. The whole time she was sweet, we engaged in GREAT conversation and she was over just very pleasant. She blew dry my hair so she could double check her work which i thought was nice as well because she actually cared. The end was my favorite though, since the store was holiday themed i went on a scavenger hunt which was SO FUN and ended up getting $5 off coupon to the salon next door! After my old stylist left the salon I normally went to I decided to try a new place and decided to gice this one a shot but I can't even review this place because the owner/stylist scheduled to do my hair canceled the day of my appointment. She told me she would make time for me whenever but given I WORK! and scheduled the appointment on my day off finding another day to reschedule was difficult. Not only did she cancel my appointment the day of but she also stopped responding to texts to find another day to reschedule. Being THE OWNER I would think bringing in new business and more recommendations, considering I've never been to this place, would be important but I guess not.
