I really wanted to love this place. I mean, the inside is spacious and they have a variety of yummy looking pastries at the counter. They are super dog friendly (they have a bowl of free treats for furry friends). The location across from Greenlake is perfect... I could go on. The cappuccino I tasted this morning, however, left MUCH to be desired. It was extremely bitter and I could taste coffee grounds throughout the cup. If I decide to return, I won't be ordering the cappuccino. That's for sure. read more

I wasn't sure what to "score" Revolutions Coffee, because the latte I got there was delicious. However, that latte, which was a 16oz iced oat milk latte, cost $9.38 (including $1 tip). I'm still in shock that I paid that. But the kicker is that they charge $1.65 extra for an iced drink? Usually it's the other way around since you get LESS drink when it's iced. Totally confused and totally in sticker shock. It was a good latte, but my wallet can NOT afford a nearly $10 latte ever. Hard pass. read more

Great little coffee shop! I really enjoyed my latte and it was a great location close to the park - making it a perfect stop after a lap around the lake. The atmosphere of the coffee shop is really nice, but I do wish there was more seating. read more

Such a quintessential Seattle place. Complete with interesting conversations streaming in the background, LCD projected menu, and tables of Microsoft engineers tapping away at their computers. What makes this place so interesting is the location next to GreenLake. Revolutions is the perfect spot to grab a coffee, and head out for a nice walk around the lake. No AC (seriously Seattle gets to hot for that now) at almost $7 for my latte and they charge .75 for iced?? What? You get less product why am I being charged more? Also alternative milk is charged on a range so it's hard to figure out how much your drink will come to. Coffee seems pretty smooth and not bitter. The. I love that this place it's quite for reading, studying and I think you can focus more on your task. It's shocking that the have AC on all the times, but love it; I get a bit hot after drinking a few cups of tea/coffee. I also appreciate the idea of bringing my pooch inside I almost feel like I'm at home relaxing on the sofa. Their pastries are pricey, but are way tastier than that other place in my opinion and worth every penny. Most importantly, their WIFI works properly; very spacious and accommodating for whatever you choose to do when you enter. I'd like to point out coffee refills and hot water for your tea and the genre of music depending on who's behind the counter varies, but still relaxing I highly recommend Revolution Espresso & Bakery. A male barista with lots of tattoos on his arms ( don't get me wrong I love tattoos just using this for reference for if you see him) and a really grumpy attitude was not only rude but literally seemed to hate his job. Go in with a runners high come out with a ruined day! I asked for equal as I'm allergic to Splenda, I literally saw him add Splenda and I asked him did you just add Splenda and he lied to me stating I added equal! (3.5 stars). Nice place with friendly staff. Had a bare feeling about the decor so for me it was more of a place to pick up a beverage and go. The actual drinks were disappointing for me. My chai latte was really weak (but pretty :) and my husband's iced green tea was also really weak with a ton of ice. He has gotten iced green tea from other places that also had to seep their tea and he said they had more flavor than this one. (Maybe they need stronger spices/ tea bags)? So, I guess if you like your drinks on the tamer side, then this is the place for you. Was a nice enough place and it looks like their coffee is popular... it's just not what I got. read more

Great location and usually-friendly staff, but @Herkimer can you please ensure better quality from places serving your coffee? Espresso doesn't seem to be consistently dialed in, milk is often a bit burnt and under or over foamed. Lots of potential, and I think you've had a lot of staff turnover, but would love a very improved latte for your prime real estate prices! read more

I came here one evening to get some work done on my laptop. It has a decent seating area with a food amount of tables and chairs, plus free WiFi so it had everything I needed. The coffee was really good as well, I had a mocha and a cookie. The baristas were really friendly and made my order pretty quick. Definitely recommend this spot if you need somewhere to chill or a good cup of coffee. read more

This is the perfect shop to stop by before your walk on green lake. This place is spacious, hip, and the baristas are so so nice. My almond milk latte was very acceptable, but just not as creamy and smooth and I prefer. No bad things I can say about this spot. I would definitely come back on my visit to green lake again. Out shopping for some new running shoes for the hubby and trying to save a trip for post-shopping coffee we popped in to Revolutions on a whim. The space is awesome...very spacious, cool and laid back. The counter was very small, which surprised me...how could they handle a crowd? Only enough room for one person back there. After I tasted the coffee it dawned on me...they don't have that problem. While completely cool space and location the coffee just sucked. Not quite sure if it was the beans, the chocolate or the barista, as I couldn't drink enough of it to decipher. I actually ended up tossing it and grabbing a Starbucks coffee at a local grocery store...yeah. Yuck. read more

Tasty smoothies, lots of seating (inside and some out), and it's... super wheelchair friendly? I can dig it! I haven't been drinking much coffee since classes ended, but I do love myself some tasty cold drinks. I started off by finding out that they no longer make Italian Sodas (they should vanish from the menu board soon), but they did have delicious sounding smoothies available. Choices were strawberry, mango, or a combination of the two. I did the combo and it was perfectly tasty. I was also hungry and not in the mood for finding "real food" elsewhere, so I went for the giant chocolate chip cookie. It was a bit low on the chocolate and a bit dry around the edges, but otherwise it was quite good. The space: I was surprised by how BIG it is. There are a couple of lounging couch areas and plenty of tables. I was there for a long while, and most of the customers either dropped in to grab a cup of coffee on the go or lingered for hours on their laptops. There are also a few tables outside, which is always nice on pretty days. So the wheelchair accessible bit (because for some reason it really stood out to me)- When you enter there are a few steps, but off to the right there is also a ramp. The bathroom is is down a hallway with a couple of turns, but it's all sloped and seems to have been made with wheelchairs in mind. I'm not quite in love yet and need to try the coffee, but I definitely liked the place. read more

Honestly, I want to like this place. The location is great, and the interior is cozy - a nice ambience to get work done. The coffee is fine, but the food is so overpriced and bland. The breakfast "sandwiches" are $7 (you get a dry English muffin with a pre-cooked egg & cheese sprinkled on it) and you'll pay nearly $4 for bagels that taste stale + plastic cream cheese cups. A coffee place that's solid all around. Good drinks, good prices, good location, good atmosphere, and good wifi. The one thing I didn't like was the bathroom, which is a maze to get to. On top of that, there's only one key, which I think is silly since there were 2 stalls in the women's bathroom, and I presume there were also 2 in the men's. Another customer and I waited and chatted outside the bathroom for 10 minutes before just giving up and leaving (we thought we heard someone inside when we first got there, but by the time we left it was slient). Making new friends is fun, but i would prefer to do it when I don't have to go. read more

They're coffee is really delicious and it is one of the best shops in the Greenlake area, however, every time I've been there I've paid over 6$ for an iced americano (not including the tip). This is the most expensive americano I've ever had in Seattle and as a barista that also works in Seattle I've never seen an iced americano cost that much. I can justify paying $6 for a latte but not an americano so sadly I will not be coming back. I do really love their coffee so if you are willing to pay more definitely go for it! read more

This is a nice little coffee shop by Green Lake park. The coffee shop has a perfect location to grab a cup before heading to the park. The inside has a great, simple and clean vibe, with big windows. When I was there, about noon on a Saturday, it wasn't too crowded and there was a good balance of people socializing, studying, and grabbing coffee to go. My drink was a simple almond milk latte, but it was so good!!! I usually add some flavored syrup but am so glad that I didn't this time. The milk was silky, the perfect temperature and perfectly flavored by a fantastic espresso roast. The espresso wasn't too bitter (which is office to happen with almond milk). It was a delightful treat, and I would definitely recommend coming here over the Starbucks that's a block away. read more

Seems to be popular with the 55 and 60 year old white guy crowd. I used to stop in several times a week. The drip coffee is pretty good, and usually the baristas are warm. I've tried the bran muffin, bacon scone, and blueberry scone. They are flavorful, and adequate for a quick sugar or high carb fix. The closest comparable in terms of texture, though, is Krusteaz. read more

Phil, the owner was the rudest person I have ever come across at a coffee shop. He's kind to the regulars not to the newbies. If I see Phil, I avoid this place and choose Starbuck's instead. In fact, talking to the Starbuck's employees about Phil, it seems Phil does have a reputation for being quite rude to people he doesn't know. I am praying for someone to buy this place up and have a new owner who knows what it takes to be a kind person to EVERYONE when working in the customer service industry. read more
