I went in with hair down to my waist and hadn't had a cut/trim-nothing-since 2020. Needless to say, I was in desperate need of some big-time help! I've had some pretty horrible experiences in the past and was very anxious leading up to my appointment. I wasn't sure what exactly I wanted other than my hair cut to a short length and something easy to care for. Victoria was awesome! Had a full day treatment with Macee; we did a color correction for a swampy and difficult to remove aqua-green into a full foil from dark semi-permanent brown back to a beautiful blonde. Ended the day with a trim and blow dry. Honestly the results were astounding. Everything I could have hoped and more. The shop was clean and had a great vibe. I've been to this salon many times and have enjoyed every stylist I've been booked with. The salon is clean, modern and inviting. The stylist are all super funny and I love that a unique & you can tell that they're really educated on all the latest techniques, colors etc. One of my favorite things is the modern sinks with the headrests! No more painful sink digging into your neck or water running down your back, you can really relax and enjoy some serious pampering! I've been coming to Revolutions for a couple of years now. The salon is super neat and clean, including the restroom. There is a parking lot, and I've never had a problem with finding a spot. I'm always warmly welcomed by all the staff. I've always had my appointments happen right on time, which is great as I've been to other salons where I've had to wait a long time. Sarah is my hairdresser and I love her! She always keeps my hair looking fantastic and when I want to change it up, she gives me her ideas. I come in every 4-6 weeks for maintenance cuts, as I have a long pixie and requires regular trims. Every once in a while I'll try for a color, and it always comes out better than I imagined. I've had blonde, purple and red colors. Purple and red can be tricky, but Sarah always manages to make it perfect! I'm always getting compliments on my hair. I'm so glad I decided to come here, it is my forever salon now! I highly recommend this salon! read more

I went there recently and the hairdresser I saw royally messed up my hair. I just went to get a simple trim and light layers. Instead I got a short, thick shelf-like layer cut on one side and the other side is all jagged. A week or so later the owner tried to "fix" it but what she did had absolutely no benefit. I get that a full fix would require a big chop (I initially came in with hair past my shoulders and to fully fix it I'd need it cut to nearly my chin!). I was trying to grow it out before this happened, and I just don't pull off short hair well, so no I don't want my hair chopped like that. However, when I came in to get it fixed, it would have helped to actually wet my hair to cut it and try to style it to see how it would lay. Instead I felt like I got a rushed 10 minute dry cut where I wondered if any hair was actually being cut. There was no real apology. I left with the plan to come back for another cut in a month or so, but I styled it when I got home and saw it was literally no better and it's so embarrassing. I cried. I'm so upset. I cancelled the follow-up appointment. I will just have to wear it up for a couple months to grow it out and find a skilled hairdresser to fix this mess. Based on my experience, I would absolutely not recommend this place. Although I'm sure other hairdressers there are much better...I certainly pulled the short stick... read more

If i could give them more stars, I would! I called in the morning after being in tears from the disaster someone did to my head the night before. I had asked for balaige with warm blonde the night before and got a full head of frosted blonde. Disaster! When i called, Danielle got on the phone, reassured me she could help, squeezed me in and then fixed the disaster and made me feel normal again! My hair cane out amazing considering what she had to work with! Danielle was helpful, she cared, professional and extremely personable. I highly recommend Revolutions and Danielle!!! Love this place. Its a classy looking salon without the hoity-toity attitudes that sometimes come along with a nicer salon. It's a beautiful space. I had called for a very last minute appointment for a hair cut before my mother's wake. They fit me in no problem and did an awesome job with my hair. Rachel was super sweet and knowledgable. She helped me decide on a good cut for my low maintenance commitment to styling and my hairs curly/wavy/unruly texture, which is something I definitely could have used other times I've gone for a big chop and went too short! The hair cut came out great and she even was able to style it for me! It was a huge relief in an otherwise shitty time. I will definitely be going here from now on! read more

Their sign out front reads "LGBT Friendly." As a new resident of Bridgewater, I was not only looking for a new salon, but having one that so blatantly wants my business? It was worth a try. Rachel was probably one of the best stylists I've ever had, and I have had a LOT because I rarely go back to the same one twice. She took the time to actually look at me, consider what I wanted, and recommend a style that she thought would be appropriate. Most stylists I've been to will either give me exactly what I want, regardless of how it will look, or if I have the drive/ability to recreate what they did, or they ignore me and give me the style they want to give me. Granted, my hair doesn't look nearly as good as when I walked out after my appointment, but it's not depressing me, and I am going to actually keep my follow-up appointment. read more

Just a note to say how thankful I am to Melissa, the owner of Revolutions Salon in Bridgewater. Unfortunately, my hair stylist got sick the Saturday before Easter. She cancelled my one process color and trim. As I was hosting the holiday, I was devastated. The first call I made was to Revolutions. My ten year old daughter is a client there and loves her stylist Benilde. Melissa answered the phone and couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. She took the time to listen to my story and told me not to worry and to come in at noon. I couldn't believe it! When I walked in, I met Micayla. She is polite, professional, and kind! She's very cool! She offered me a cold drink and put me at ease as I explained what happened. Micayla matched my color, took her time, gave her opinions, and also gave an amazing head massage during my shampoo. I left feeling gorgeous and refreshed. Revolutions is beautiful, clean and the music is pumping! The art work is spectacular! Easter went smooth. I couldn't be happier with my hair color. Very disappointed been going here for a few years and this past week was the last final straw They have no regards for anyones time. I wsited over a half hour and when i asked how much longer i was asked what i needed I will not be bsck. The salon is not professional and I'd be careful bringing young kids. Lani is truly amazing. I started going to Lani about a year ago with very damaged, brittle, over processed hair. Not only is Lani so kind & fun (I've never seen her not smiling), but she completely saved my hair! She also gave me great tips on how to get my hair healthy again at home. My hair is soft again, shiny, and SO healthy. I get compliments constantly on my hair now! I cannot say enough great things about Lani. read more

Would not recommend for manicure/pedicure - my manicure lasted approx 1 day; maybe if I hadn't washed a dish or gone to the gym it would have lasted longer; have had better pedicures elsewhere. read more

I would like to be able to give Revolutions Salon a review based on their work, but I can't. I booked an appointment online, received a confirmation email (2 actually--1 to say they received the booking, 1 for me to confirm my appointment, which I did), & showed up the next day (on time) for my 1st appointment with Shannon. The receptionist seemed nice, if not preoccupied. She told everyone with ears about a rather personal matter (for more info. see Snapchat, apparently it's on there). After the receptionist caught everyone up on her gossip (about 25 minutes later), she seemed to notice I was still there & the stylist WAS NOT. She offered to make a phone call--ah, thanks. Turns out, Shannon was supposed to call me to cancel. The receptionist wanted to know if the salon had my correct number--they did. I hadn't received a phone call & wasted my morning. She asked me if I wanted to reschedule--ah, no thanks. Basically, the business lost $350 for the service, a tip, & a potential client. Maybe they don't care--that's fine. Just thought I might save other people the same frustrating experience. There are a lot of salons out there that do want the business, are professional, & deserve it. My recommendation is to try one of those instead. read more

I have been following Missy for over 10 years. I went from taunton to easton to different salons just for her & was so excited when she finally opened Revolutions because not only is she amazing at her art it's the best atmosphere! The staff is like family there. I am a natural brunette and tend to switch up my hair color often from highlights, low lights, blonde or red. Without fail I leave w amazing color that is fun and natural looking...not to mention the best blow out. They are always going to new technique classes so if you are up for a new trend that you see definetly go here because they actually know what they are doing! Priscilla has also been doing my moms hair for just as long. She always leaves with a gorgeous short easy to style hair cut an color. I have yet to have my nails done there but have been able to squeeze in a wax with Beth. I can easily name 5 friends and family who have made the switch over the years.
