when we are staying in Scottsdale, we found this gem, beside of the restaurant. I love there matcha latte, it's noot sweet. (we come back here 2x btw) and my husband loved there cookie monster ice cream, it's color blue ice cream but he said it was really good. The service was great, they also have a self order kiosk. the ambiance was really nice from qinside to outside. it was really quiet place. Visiting from out of town and wanted some boba! This boba shop is connected to Hao Hao restaurant. The lady that helped us at this boba shop is the daughter of Hao Hao owner and she was super sweet! Service was quick! We ordered 4 drinks and they were ready within 5min. Drinks come in one size and price is fair, not expensive like other places and the drink is a good size (similar to large). Taro slush with custard pudding and regular boba was 10/10! The best taro custard boba I've had in a long time. My fiancé had mango peach black tea, 8/10. I didn't realize there was a Scottsdale location of this place, and my friend and I met here on a Friday evening. Pretty neat that it's next door to Pokitrition and owned by the same folks, I do love their sushi burritos. The young employee working was friendly and welcoming to us both. It was easy to order our drinks and pay on the kiosk. I got the brown sugar milk tea with boba, 50% sugar and less ice. My friend got the mango peach green tea also with boba and less sweetness. I liked my drink although it was on the sweeter side, but the bobaista let us know if if we needed our drinks modified after she made them. My friend enjoyed her drink as well. We tried some ice cream flavors, I sampled the Vietnamese coffee and was surprised at its strong taste. It was good! May have to get some on a return visit. We decided to stop by and try this place on a whim after grabbing a bite of pizza. After looking over the current ice cream flavors, we decided on getting a scoop of the vegan pistachio cherry and a scoop of the honey lavender. The pistachio cherry wasn't what I was expecting, but in a good way. When I first read that flavor, I was expecting there to be a strong cherry flavor to it but surprisingly instead of tasting distinctly of either pistachio or cherry, it tasted more like almond agar dessert. But the person I went with said no.... that's the cherry flavor you're tasting. The honey lavender on the other hand tasted exactly how I imagined. With the lavender flavor overpowering. What I like about this place is that you can take your time looking over the menu without feeling rushed to decide on what to order since you place your order on the kiosk instead of having to worry about the line of people behind you if you were to order with someone behind the counter like at most other places. Ordering is also simple; you choose between a drink or ice cream and both options are easily customizable. I also really liked that they had vegan options. The service was super friendly and helpful in narrowing down what to try. Would definitely say that this spot is a nice, little place to stop by for a quick treat in the area after a doctor's appointment. The Strawberry Matcha Latte $5.80 was pretty. I was told that we need to stir it before drinking. After stirring I could mostly just taste the matcha with a hint of the strawberry. The Brown Sugar Crush $6.50 is extremely sweet. It has brown sugar milk with custard pudding, brown sugar boba, & a brown sugar sauce. I think the sweet matcha $5.80 is new but I haven't tried it before. It has sweet milk, matcha, whipped cream, and boba. I am interested in the Wintermelon Tea $4.25 and the Wintermelon Milk Tea $4.50, which I will have to try next time. The blended drinks look cute, like the Matcha Crush $6, a Matcha blended drink. The Strawberry Charm $6 looks adorable and consists of blended strawberries and milk. The taro crush $6 is also a pretty drink. The drink consists of vanilla flavoring and comes with creme brulee. They also have a Thai Tea Crush $6 and a brown Sugar crush $6.50. They also have Taro Milk Tea $4.50, Thai tea $4.50, brown sugar milk tea $4.50, and wintermelon milk tea $4.50. We came here the other day for some ice cream. Upon entering, there is a super cute boba lit up wall -- I have attached a photo. Super kawaii! There is plenty of seating in this place. The only thing I would note (and which knocked this down to 4 stars) are the amount of visible wiring around the shop. My daughter kept trying to grab them (some of them were at her eye level next to where you order) so that was unfortunate. Ice cream was awesome though. Good drinks, friendly staff! Our five drinks came out within 10 mins or less. My butterfly coconut was okay, tasted more like plain coconut water which I like so no biggie. As with many Boba shops you can customize the drinks to your liking, so it was nice being able to order from the tablets on the wall.. very convenient. The waffle cone costs just a little extra but get it if you like tasty things and want to cut down on landfill waste. The cone was thick enough to hold the ice cream and not get soggy but thin enough that it wasn't rock hard and hard to bite. It also was not too sweet and complimented my ice cream choice. The mini mini got the Cookie Monster ice cream. It's blue cookies & cream y'all, if you're not familiar. It's super good. She got it in a cone with sprinkles and they put little Cookie Crisp cereal on top. Adorbs and IG ready. For beverages, I got a dairy free Thai tea. I love the options. You can choose the level of sweetness that you want and they have their recommendations listed so if you're not sure you can just choose that. The mini mini chose a strawberry lychee tea. It was sweet, refreshing and perf for a hot Az summer. Yassss. This is the the place to be if you want dairy free and vegan options as well as other options. 1 star for deception and quality. I decided to treat myself today to this place as it's been pretty consistent before. I ordered a Thai tea no added sugar, add boba. The woman behind the counter that was nowhere to be found upon entry, told me I had $6 in rewards and asked if I'd like to use it, I said I did. She finished taking my order and making it. There were some pieces of I don't know what but am hoping they were pieces of tea leaves that were in my drink. The boba was unusually mushy (it's usually very good). It was not cold at all as there were only a few ice cubes but what lead me to write this review was a $3 tip that she gave herself. She never asked if I'd like to tip. I happened to see my Square receipt in my email and she helped herself to a 25% tip. Now, don't get me wrong, I would've tipped if given the opportunity, however, she literally stole the opportunity.
