Matcha Latte,, lady dragon (no boba)
    Cheryl C.

The Matcha latte here is super creamy and sweet, I really enjoyed it. I ordered the Lady Dragon with no boba. It's a busy mall and the service was slow.

An array of drinks plus boba!!! There are so many offerings, one can stand in front of the menu on the board and get so lost as to which one to order or just have to make up your mind as there are people waiting behind you! The young girl behind the counter saw the confusion on my face and was kind and helped me! I got some kind of a tea with strawberries and pomegranate and a scoop of boba. To top it all, it was sugar free!!! As a diabetic, this was the perfect drink. The boba had sugar but I didn't eat it all!!! The drink was not sweet but not bitter either, smothered in ice cubes and it was very enjoyable!!! Highly recommended!!!

I was shopping at the Scottsdale fashion square and wanted to try some boba. The place was packed with young crowd. They have kiosks to order but it wasn't working. The menu is a little overwhelming and confusing. I went with their fresh tea strawberry boba. They have a smoothie or iced option and went with their iced option. I have never tried a black tea flavored boba. It was bitter and didn't taste anything like a milk tea boba. It's more for weight watchers and a refresher. I wasn't impressed. The prices don't reflect the taste or the quality. I might not be returning back.

Good customer service. They are ready to explain the self check out. They also have so many flavors. They are great at helping you decide what you would like best. We had a great time customizing our drinks. Definitely recommend this place.

I always want to get a drink here when I visit this mall. So yummy. They have self service kiosks now too which makes ordering drinks a smooth process. Can't wait for another drink

Was very surprised to find good Boba at the mall. The menu is a bit overwhelming, but the staff was very helpful in helping me pick out the right flavor. I don't usually stray from my matcha green blended selection when I go out for boba. I had one great experience years ago and have been forever chasing that same boba high. They didn't have that on the menu (I'm guessing it was too boba basic for them). With great hesitation tried a variation of my usual with their Kimono boba. I was pleasantly surprised. Plus the boba balls were excellent- just the right amount of chewy. My boyfriend had a fruity boba, can't remember the name of it. I think he had boba envy as I had the better of the two drinks.

Very difficult to understand the menu. When you ask the young servers they don't even point to the menu board but to another menu by the till. It was all double Dutch to us. I ordered a Bella and loved it. One of the other drinks went straight to the trash as it wasn't liked. We were asked whether we wanted something like a gummy at bottom of our drink. We didn't know. Was horrible. We went to order again. Got what we liked second time round, however, considering it was the same kid serving us.... he should have made it for free. Customer service should be alot better than that.

Tasty boba, a little overpriced. I got a medium Tara blended but was disappointed when it wasn't really blended just more like a cup of taro milk. $8 for 16 oz. It was good but I'm not sure if it was worth the price. They had many flavors to choose from and I would come back bc of their variety!

It was one of those "hey let's just get boba from there since we were here" moments for us when we were here. This was located on the ground floor and there were a lot of people waiting. It was also a hot day so it made sense why so many were there. The drink names were interesting but at least they provided a description of what the drink actually was. We ordered a Jazzie with boba ($5.95)and waiting a while before our drink was made. There were people walking through so I couldn't get to the counter to claim the drink before the guy was getting annoyed. He gave me a look like he was annoyed that he had to say the order a couple of times. It wasn't good to see but whatever. The Jazzie with boba did not taste good but at least the boba was chewy. I would not recommend drinks here.

Got jasmine milktea. I asked for less sugar but it tasted like they forgot to put sugar in it. They also forgot to add in boba so I had to come back for that. Overall, very unsatisfied with my purchase. Not worth 7.25$ for this and I should've known better not to get boba in the mall but still! Won't come back again!

This is my go to place for boba tea, whenever I'm craving for one. I have been to both the location (at least that I know of) Scottsdale fashion Square and Chandler Fashion Center.

Funny names of the drinks. Adults would get the drink names and kids would think they're funny since they don't get it lol. Well at least my son and nieces and nephew didn't get it *whew* My family and I were in town visiting family and decided to get boba after eating at The Culinary Dropout. Good boba but my family and I are from CA and have a lot of boba, it's not too bad. If you need your boba fix it's a good place to get it and window shop.

A cup full of ice with some orange-dyed milk added.

While there's limited seating, it's definitely more of a grab-and-go spot. Despite its small size, it's a cute little shop. Their mascot is a Pokemon-looking creature and they have the decor to match. Service (4/5): Pretty much what you hope at a bubble tea spot. You can order at a kiosk or at the counter. Menu above the counter. You can customize the sweetness level and the ice level. They have a rewards program. You pay quickly and your order is ready quickly too. Done and done. Food (N/A): While they have food, and a more extensive menu than your typical boba spot, I just got a beverage. They mostly have sweets e.g. ice cream and croffles. Drinks (4/5): Your typical selections and mix-in options with a twist. They have dragon fruit and pomegranate options. Not something you typically see among much more common options like strawberry, mango, passion fruit, etc. It's a nice touch and I appreciated the extended selections.

I got a fruit tea with boba today. I got the mango tea which has mango puree and a lemon and lime inside as well. It was so delicious. I liked the vibe and the tea was good. I wish they would have a bigger serving of boba though. That's my only constructive comment. The serving of boba here (as an add on) is probably the smallest serving I've seen in the area. I would come back to try another tea flavor sometime.

The staff didn't make excuses. They owned it immediately, were incredibly genuine, attentive, and went above and beyond to turn things around. By the end of the meal, not only were we glad we stayed, but it became one of the most memorable dining experiences we've had in a long time. The biggest reason for that was our waiter, Cru. Absolute professional. Personable, attentive, thoughtful, and somehow managed to make us feel like we were the only table in the restaurant despite how busy things were. Great service is easy when everything runs perfectly, but it's worth acknowledging that what Cru did was much harder. He completely changed the energy of the night through pure hospitality and effort. On top of that, his recommendations for food were spot on and exceeded our expectations. The food was outstanding, atmosphere was great, but the way the team handled adversity and recovered is what deserves recognition. Mistakes happen anywhere. The response is what matters, and this restaurant absolutely delivered. Cru deserves all the credit in the world. As well as the entire staff and management. I will be back, without a doubt.

The interior was not very clean- the inside is white with beautiful furniture, but most of it was sticky or messy, and the floor had smudge marks. There were straw wrappers from previous customers also strewn about on a few tables. The employees, too, were curt, unprofessional (half were sitting at a table on their phones, and half were roughhousing behind the counter, one employee even slapped the other? NOT a good look.) and did not greet us when we came in. We tried to order about 3 different drinks, but they were out of half of the toppings on the menu. The female employee who took our order looked annoyed that we dared try to order drinks that were on the menu- it was unsettling and not a great customer service experience. Finally, we got our drinks, and they were pretty much all ice in a fancy cup. The tea portion that we did receive was fine, but almost 20 dollars for bad service, and mostly ice is unacceptable. The flavors were nothing to write home about- and the dragon tea refresher my boyfriend got was not particularly unique. I've heard and seen good things about Xing Fu Tang locations in other states, but if they want to survive in Mesa, AZ, they may want to start actually carrying the ingredients advertised on the menu, as well as training their employees on professionalism. Jeez.
