I have worked with many personal trainers and nutrition consultants to help me with my goals; however, it always lead to some type of supplement intake or meal replacement for short term fixes. The dietitian that I worked with was very supportive and helped me identify healthy goals to meet my needs. If it wasn't for the consultative approach in understanding how to read food labels, healthy portion sizes and types of food to consume for my goals I would still be struggling. Nutrition and excersise alone can be very challenging, but with good guidance and support, those once challenging goals are now achievable.

I have seen Dr Novotny for about 13 years. I first seek him because I had several fast growing…read moremodules in my thyroid and I was told I had to remove my thyroid gland and start taking hormones for the rest of my life. I was on my late thirties and I didn't want that for myself. I was desperate to find a different solution. When I went to Dr Novotny the modules were big enough I couldn't sing any more. I told Dr Novotny I was willing to "give him a try" until I was not able to talk, at which time I wouldn't have a choice but to go for surgery... 3 months later I had no modules. 13 years later they are still gone. Going to Novotny was way cheaper than going the traditional rout, plus I have save my purse and my body from hormonal treatment for the last 13 years!!!
