    11/1/25 fried ice cream!!!
    Jen H.

11/1/25 I really wanted my daughter and grandgirl to try Rey Aztecas- I really enjoyed it. I got the lunch special one chicken and one ground beef enchilada with rice instead of beans. My daughter ordered a chicken chimichanga that she enjoyed. Our little 2 1/2 year old got a cheese quesadilla and a beef enchilada children's meal. She really loved it- she did a pretty good job enjoying my rice too! I also wanted to mention I liked the crispy lettuce and the sour cream sauce on top with the savory enchiladas. The artwork is simply stunning and it is a beautiful restaurant. I have always loved Mexican pottery and art. The vivid colors are so eye catching. I wanted to mention that Victor was a friendly attentive server. I placed a to go order for my son in law and Victor timed it perfectly so that we could get it home to him nice and hot. He ordered Chicken Tacos Rico Fajita and got black beans and rice. He really enjoyed it. We also ordered a fried Ice cream - soooo worth it!!! Save room!! Excellent experience!

We had a nice night! We haven't been here before but decided to pop in for a quick bite. The food and drinks were good and it was a cozy vibe. We'd come again.

I was not sure how Rey azteca would be I really wanted a margherita and to check out a new spot. The service was great, from the hostess to the server, the ambiance was really well done and had a good vibe. I had a margherita it was delicious and the food was great. I was a bit hesitant as the food seemed a bit over priced and once it came out the rice portion was a bit small ( I ate it all and rarely eat my whole dinner. I will definitely keep this spot In my dinner rotation.

Had dinner with friends on a Saturday evening - we ate at the bar. Good selection of local and Mexican beers - Negra Modelo on tap which is a plus. I (Side) Ordered Chile Relleno Al Pastor, chicken tamale and a Chalupa. The relleno was very good, the rest were par. Service from Victor was tops. Margaritas were quite popular. Food was 3, service/ambiance was 4. So to be fair - should be 3.5 stars, but $17 for 3 tacos stings.

We ate at this location instead of bringing in. We were NOT disappointed. We were seated right away and greeted with a big basket of chips and salsa. What we snagged: -Tacos Carne Asada -Shrimp Quesadilla Of course the food was amazing as always. What was the best: the service. Everyone takes such great care of you and everyone pays attention. It's not just your server that helps your table. It's the managers, the hostess, and other servers. Seems like a great family.

Great small Mexican chain with a huge menu. We came here on Christmas eve for a quiet lunch and had a great time. Service was great. Lots of options. Reasonable prices. You can't go wrong.

Great new Mexican restaurant in East Norriton! Me and my boyfriend have visited 3 times so far and have loved everything we've had! The staff is very friendly and attentive. My personal favorite item off the menu so far is the fajitas texanas. One of the best I've had! We get the guacamole when we go and it usually varies in taste. Sometimes it's too limey so it could use a little work but overall not bad! Love the chips too. Definitely a welcomed addition to the neighborhood!

Great new addition to the East Norriton community! Have been twice already and the service has been consistently friendly from the time you enter to the time you leave. The decor and ambiance is great and they are able to accomplish parties of all sizes. Food has also been consistent and very much a crowd favorite! First time around we enjoyed the fresh guacamole, a large mason jar of horchata, and enchiladas rancheros. This time around we had the fresh guacamole and shared the Texanos fajitas for two. We ended up taking home just as much of our dinner as we ate because the portion was so big and it was delicious! The fresh guacamole (haven't tried the guacamole dip) is probably one of the best I have had and you can have them make it just how you like it. Definitely our go to spot for Mexican food now, can't wait until they have their liquor license!

This last time was a challenge as my father is very picky and his dish was too spicy for him (actually quite flavorful, but not for him). Instead he just wanted coffee and cake. The server and manager tag-teamed and took care of the situation. He had an incredible tres-leches cake with a very tasty sweet coffee. When the bill came, no charge for the cake and coffee (I had his entree packet to go and thoroughly enjoyed it the next day). Always a joy to go there. Be mindful the atmosphere is lively and any birthday becomes a restaurant-wide celebration. Get the fish tacos or chicken enchiladas or go out with the molcajete.

The chimichangas had hot sauce poured ALL over and it was almost too spicy for my fiancée to eat. He got that before and didn't recall having all that hot sauce on it. My carne asada platter was not great. The steak was super over-cooked. It should've been taken off the grill like 8 minutes before. They could've give customers a bigger portion of rice. It's just upsetting how they treated a take-out order because it's not like we can return it. $48 for 2 meals that weren't great.

To be honest, you have a 50/50 chance with this place. The space is huge. Busy busy. And maybe they shouldn't take orders when they are busy. It's better to just focus on the customers you have than try to bring more. The first time, customer service was exceptional... second time, nope. Bare minimum. It's our fault, we should have waited for at least a month or two. Then we would've been at least a 'new patron'. I'm sad and disappointed that a chain cannot be consistent. Taco salad.. 1st time great--- second time soaking in grease. The chips- first time, great! Second time, old, reheated, rewarmed, tasting like old grease. First time, shrimp chimichangas-- great!! Different than you typical. More like a fried taco. Second time i got the Camerones al mojo de ajo-- greasy. The rice oiled my lips better than vasoline. I can't go back, i won't go back and if you do-- dine in so when you are disappointed, you can return it immediately. Us on the other hand, had to call twice before getting someone to pick up and then it was better to call back later. They get 2/5 because the first time they got it right. Never again.
