Exceptional customer service by Jose S. and the store manager (Anthony). An end table we needed was recently discontinued so we began checking the RH outlet locations in AZ and then CA. As luck would have it, Jose answered our phone call and he looked thru his inventory finding two matches at his location. He then provided end to end 'VIP' level service over two days and I was able to get a freight carrier to pickup the table and deliver back to AZ. To be honest, this was a relatively inexpensive wood table yet he treated the entire transaction from start to finish as if I were buying $20,000 worth of merchandise. This included sending me photos of the two matches so I could choose the best one, personally pulling the item off the floor and literally helping get it shipped. It's a big space with a lot of furniture. They have some really beautiful pieces. Couches, chairs, tables, sinks, patio furniture, cushions, curtains, etc. A lot of the pieces were damaged. The prices were still pretty high even with 40% off the discounted price. I loved a black leather chair that was marked down to $1700 but it was more than I wanted to spend for something with some scuffs & scratches. read more

It's an OUTLET. It is not s regular store. You get what you get and the selection is what it is. Store hours are posted. Shop and buy during those hours. No holds and no "please keep this from being sold" nonsense. You either have the money to buy it now, or you don't. This is not an insult to you. It is not the Sales staff hurting your ego. It is basic shopping knowledge. I never expect the same service you get at the regular stores. Granted that isn't so great but if a company won't pay its employees well, wether they sell products or not,.. this is what you get. There are a few cabinets we love from this place and are doing more measurements to be sure it will work. The sting ray finish is stunning. If we get lucky and find two of these with the blemishes on the back of the cabinet,... HUGE WIN FOR US! I do not get the whining that people do because the staff closed the register. Those employees aren't paid extra to stay around and wait for you to buy something. In fact, employees clocking out late will be punished and or reprimanded. If you really want to buy it,.. you will buy it during store hours. Here is another helpful hint. Most regular stores DO NOT HAVE INVENTORY LISTS OF THE OUTLET. This is basic common knowledge of EVERYONE who bargain hunts. Do TJMAXX employees follow you around to be at your beck and call? No. Absolutely no. If you cannot afford full price retail store RH yet you shop at the outlet and demand exceptional cust service - you are sorely mistaken. The days of magical customer service from decently paid employees is over. In the meantime stop pretending you are the QUEEN OR KING of the SOCAL universe and shop accordingly. Rules to keep in mind: The sales staff did not make that furniture. The sales staff have no idea what is going to show up in the trucks. The sales staff do not have a manufacturing schedule for production. The sales staff are not mechanics or furniture artisans ready to fix or adjust the product on the floor. The Sales staff are not paid a ton of money and are not required to be your service slave because you have bad manners and treat Sales staff badly. The Sales staff are there to sell product from that store during posted hours. If this basic standard rule of operation somehow eludes your train of thought - there is nothing any of us can do to help you out. Outlet shoppers KNOW that OUTLET shopping requires a bit of "getting your game on" which requires YOU to do multiple visits to locations to "score". All this - and it's a great place to shop deals. Staff are nice. Smile and be polite. Bring your tape measure. read more

Our first time at this location and so much great stuff! The Black Friday sale was an additional 40% off. Unfortunately we didn't find the size table we wanted but overall they had everything from rugs, lamps, dining tables to the cutest little dog/cat bowls! I would definitely recommend it if your budget can accommodate. read more

I love coming here to shop for my furniture. I came in here a few days ago and noticed they always have different furniture at a way better price than the regular RH store I ended up buying a dining table at member price on top of the discounted price really happy with my purchase . Beware buying furniture at the restoration hardware outlet. I understand the prices are lower due to scratches etc on furniture. However I purchased two caned high top chairs. After little use (with cushions on them) one of the canes chairs started splitting at the seat. When I called store, they said "this happens to caned chairs and since all sales are final there is nothing we can do". Also mentioned that the furniture at outlet is "second rate". This is more than a scratch - this is simply very defective. read more

Walked up at 6:52pm and were told the store was closed and not allowed to look around. Weird that the signage and online says they close at 7:00pm. I've had better customer service at McDonald's - you'd think an expensive company would want to push sales till the last minute. Gross. read more

One of the best retail experiences I have ever had. We purchased a bunk bed and signed the "all sales final" document. It was fully assembled in the store and looked great! They disassembled it for us and wrapped it up perfectly. When we got home and my husband put it together...that's when we noticed the two ends were exactly the same. We were missing the end with the cutout for the ladder. Immediately I was upset because our 4 year old was going to be using this bed and we were concerned for his safety. The next day, I called and got the manager, Tara. After explaining, there was zero hesitation from her in telling me they were going to make this right for us. She promised to follow up with me, she did, and she got us a brand new bed. To top it off, they had it delivered, assembled and even hauled out the defective one. I have never experienced such wonderful customer service as we did at the outlet. Thank you Tara and even Heidi who were wonderful to work with. Well I didn't mean to update this review because I never wanted to visit this place again but since s.o voted my review so I was curious to check if this business is getting better reviews for their services or not. I read some one seem like he/she working there wrote the review about my comment ( I assumed it was the owner/manager trying to excuse for their horrible services and educating the customers on how to shop at their store). I was actually arriving 15 minutes before their closing time but they locked the door and it took almost 10 minutes for them to recognized I was standing outside knocking the door and asking to talk to manager to let me in to make the purchase for the items that I was interested in. Come on, if it happened, it only take less then 5 minutes to finish the transaction, slide the credit card and we could pick up the chairs right away, it was not a big table or giant furniture but the manager made a big deal of it like " go home, we close and don't need your business" no thank you or sorry whatever. It was clearly like that, we don't need your business! read more

I work near this RH Outlet location and I absolutely love going here to shop for our new home. I'm really surprised by some other reviews because every single person I've met that works there is extremely helpful and so personable. I sometimes call ahead to confirm a new truck delivery or to find out if the new items are in the floor yet, as they typically receive new shipments three times a week and those items fly quickly. To date I've purchased multiple kids items, a huge piece of art, a very large couch, our dining room table, chandeliers and some end tables. You definitely have to be patient and shop there frequently to get what you truly want and love. Some days they get a few items, sold days multiple trucks, some days all kids, some days all dining. I think it's important to understand it is not a regular store, it is an outlet and they do not know what items are on the truck / do not have control of what is being shipped to them. You just have to get lucky which is super fun. read more

The worst experience I have ever had. My wife and I live in Vegas and drove to the Ontario Mills location today to purchase a few items. I have a RH credit card and am also a member. I did not have my card on me however they were able to look up my account with my ID. We bought a few items and drove to Irvine to see what they had (we are looking for bedroom furniture for our teenage daughter). When we found what we wanted, the sales lady told us the manager would have to look up my account as she is not allowed to. The manager shows up five minutes later and he is rude and arrogant. He tells me I need to have my RH card on me otherwise he can't help me. I explained I had just made a purchase in Ontario and they gave me my account number. He shook his head and said "nope, can't help you". Then he laughs at me and continues shaking his head. At this point, I was upset and asked what he was laughing at. I also asked for his boss's name and number. Another associate at the register tells me that if I don't calm down, she will call 911. I told her to go right ahead. At that point, the manager tells me he will not give me his boss's number until the cops arrived. I waited for the cops and when they arrived, the manager still refused to provide the information I asked for. I spoke to the cops and then left. We have shopped at RH for years and have furnished our home with their items however I will never step foot into another one of these stores. They felt compelled to call the cops because I asked for their boss's contact information. I have never been treated this way by anyone or any place of business. They should be ashamed of themselves for their lack of customer service. read more

Came in looking for a media console and Carol and Ben dropped everything they were doing to help us find the one we were looking for and offering to find other options that we may like. I have been going to the Restoration Hardware in Irvine for about a year now. I find the customer service to be exceptional!! Everyone there has gone above and beyond to help me find my cloud slipcovers! Special thanks to Anthony the store manager, Linda, who has hung in there with me for the last 8 months, and Jacob who is always sweet and helpful. Not amused with this location. Came in when the South Coast RH referred me here since a specific RH Child collection wasn't being carried anymore so I wasn't able to order additional pieces. In a store full of employees (and only two customers including myself) I was not acknowledged or anything to even address my existence within their store. Not even a brief moment of eye contact. Immediately I happened upon a Victorian claw foot bathtub that I absolutely adored. Given the atrocious customer service I would rather not purchase it although it was perfectly lovely. While wandering around throughout the entire store I wasn't acknowledged once even when I walked directly around the registers. I did get to witness their dotting attention to other patrons as they entered. Disappointing that they had the time to chit chat amongst themselves but not a spare moment to even ask if I needed anything or was finding everything ok. read more
