    Roasted duck over rice came
    Johanna A.

The minute we arrived, we noticed that the restaurant was very clean. Ambience was calm and inviting. Our server greeted and sat us right away. We ordered the calamari and roasted duck over rice. Calamari was very crispy but not greasy. The roasted duck over rice came with a cup of clear vegetable broth that was so comforting. The roasted duck came boneless on the rice with brown sauce over it. The duck was tender and very tasty. I would definitely recommend if you're crazing Thai food!

Sat quickly and had an amazing Thai iced coffee! Also had the shrimp pad thai. I really appreciated their spice level being true to the number. Overall great experience.

Are here with my coworkers for lunch. Had appetizers but sorry no pics. I ordered the Yellow Curry with chicken and it was good. The service was good, the place was busy at lunchtime. It was a good spot for lunch with the team. We'll come back again since everyone seemed to enjoy the place and food.

We tried this restaurant for the first time for lunch. We were seated right away without any wait. What I like was that you get one spring roll with each entree. We ordered their Thai iced tea along with some hot tea. Then we ordered their pad Thai with chicken, shrimp basil and massaman curry. I really liked their Pad Thai and Massaman curry with chicken. The shrimp basil was okay. I probably wouldn't order again. See photos of the food below. Overall the food was delicious and I would come back here. The ambiance is simple and service was good. The food came fresh and fast.

    3-Flavored Fish (extra spicy)

Met up with an old friend for dinner since I have been in this area for three years. This Thai restaurant is very close to my hotel and had pretty good reviews. We ordered the same dish, Three-flavors fish with mild (for my fried) spicy (5/5 for myself). The fried cat fish fillets were tended and slightly fried and mixed with vegetables and crispy basil leaves. It was a wonderful selection. We also had Mixed Seafood Salad as appetizer, and warm stir fried seafood mixed with lemongrass, shallots, tomato, mint leaves and spring green were a perfect combination that topped with Thai chili in lime juice. Another great dish. The other appetizer, potstickers, never been served but we have nothing to complain since the food is so delicious. There were too many patrons inside. Maybe the locals don't like Thai food. My friend is definitely coming back from more in the future. This is his newly found local favorite from now on.

Went to R'Haan on a date with a regular and I'm so glad he made the suggestion! Great restaurant with chill ambiance and awesome Thai food. We started with the potstickers which were tasty with a flavorful filling and accompanied by both sweet and sour sauce and peanut sauce. I ordered the pad kee mow and it's some of the best I've had, I loved the noodle texture (but probably could have upped my heat, I picked 2). My date ordered a curry which he raved about. No alcohol, but I hear you can BYOB. I opted for the Thai tea which was creamy and not too sweet. Perfect date night spot: quiet enough to have a conversation with great food and service. The reviews here are well-earned.

FOOD INSTAGRAM: @northtx.gemz **** WHAT THEY'RE KNOWN FOR: all of their Thai dishes are delicious. You really can't go wrong. A local favorite. THE VIBE: pretty quiet inside but they usually have a lunch rush. PRICE: ~$35 + $20 tip (we love the owners they usually are the servers) WOULD I COME BACK? Yes! Multiple times before. **** Overall Rating: 11/10 - I've rated @rhaanthaicuisine before but I just had to make another post again because I seriously love this place. I've never had a bad dish from here and the flavor never lacks. - Their Thai tea is on the sweeter side however this is probably one of the best Thai teas to grab. So good and milky. - I love their curries but didn't get any this time but their red curry is seriously phenomenal. I get the spice level at 4 and it's perfect for someone who loves spicy food but doesn't have a crazy high tolerance (get the 5 if that's the case). - The owners are sweet and you just can't go wrong coming here. Only downside is they close on Sundays! I wish they were open for family dinners on Sundays but regardless I'd go any day of the week. One time my family and I literally ate here three times in one week lol.

The ambiance here is very soft, chill and romantic. There are faux candles "lit" at each table, perfectly dim lighting, and soft instrumentals playing as you enjoy your meal. It was shockingly quiet and empty tonight, and we were the only two people seated at 5:30 PM. it was very peaceful and kind of cool to hear the pots and pans clink as they prepared our food. Our server was very kind and friendly. She answered all our questions and made sure my green tea was piping hot - every single cup! My fiancé got a sparkling water and it was served in a wine glass which I thought was so cute. To start we got the crispy wrapped shrimp, which was 4 pieces of perfectly cooked shrimp wrapped in super crunchy fried egg roll wrappers and served with a delicious sticky sweet dipping sauce. Then I got a cup of wonton soup (wonderful portion, can't imagine how large a bowl is!) and my fiancé got the garlic prawns. The soup was perfect for a cold day, warm and simple with 4 adorable wontons, glass noodles and a hint of chicken and veggies. I got chili oil on the side to add to it and it really elevated the whole dish, but be careful - it is genuinely spicy! The garlic prawns were fantastic, came with tons of veggies in thick brown sauce and with a side of perfectly cooked rice. The food was just 10/10 across the board. And then....we got dessert. The sweet rice with ice cream to be precise. Again, the rice was just cooked to perfection and served with a fat scoop of blue bell and a bright red maraschino cherry. What more could you want? This was a fabulous dinner and I hope they are getting the foot traffic they deserve. I only saw 2 people come in to pick up orders while we dined. I will be recommending this spot to friends and family alike.

The fries tasted like they were cooked in peanut oil and they were specially seasoned. They were a bit on the salty side, but otherwise they were good. The combo cost around $10 plus some change. Seems a bit expensive for what I got since my drink was from a can. Service was good, they greeted me as soon as I walked up to the counter to take my order. The guy was quick, but friendly. I didn't have to wait too long for my food, which was good because I was hungry. As for ambiance, it's a small hole in the wall type of place. It was clean for the most part. It had bar seating with only three stools. There were a couple of short chairs next to a high bar on the opposite side. They have outdoor seating, but it's only one table with four chairs. There's a big bulletin board sort of cluttered with business cards on the wall and they were playing very eclectic music ranging from 80's, 90's, country, grunge, to some of today's music. Basically seemed like someone was using their iPod on shuffle. I guess I didn't exactly expect fancy for a fast food style sandwich place that's attached to a 7-11, but I had hoped for more to my sandwich and better seating.

It's been awhile since I've ordered online and I didn't know Salata had an online order pickup area now. So I go in and sit at a nearby booth expecting the currently-empty pickup area to have my order put in it shortly. It was lunch rush, and they were hopping, so I expected a bit of a wait. After my 13 minute pickup window comes and goes, I decide to stand near the shelves looking purposeful in case I can get someone's attention. When I do so, an employee calls out asking if I have a pickup. Turns out my order had been waiting at the register end of their very long assembly line for who knows how long. How was I supposed to know? Why have an online order area if you're not going to use it? It felt like I had to a regular to know this magical info.
