I ordered to-go -and it was amazing. I tried the fried rice, the fried orange chicken and the pad see eew. I recommend it all! The location is small, and it does have the dine in option but its not ample seating. It seemed quiet. After placing my order I waited in my car and it seems to get a good amount of traffic. Their food is SOOOOO awesome. We have eaten here several times and we have enjoyed everything. So far my very favorite is the pineapple chicken. It is so good that it's always my first choice, so we've only tried 3 or 4 other items. If you haven't tried it, I strongly recommend it. I really wish we had found them sooner. Prices are very reasonable and there's a large selection of dishes. Pad see ew and pad Thai were great. If you ask for level 5 spice it's definitely fire. But DO NOT LET THAT DETER YOU, I (female) have ordered Togo several times before day AND night, and have never seen, witnessed or ever 'felt' threatened or unsafe. Parking is literally right in front of their front door and outside lighting was not mega bright, but bright enough. Laab salad was a fantastic, surprise wild card impulse choice. Keep in mind though, it's NOT a traditional salad, which can be a good thing. As it is now, slightly awkward to eat as a cohesive meal due to thickness of cabbage and cucumber slices. ***NOTE TO OWNERS*** If the cabbage was shredded and cucumbers Julienned so both could be used as a carb free "bed of rice" option, it'd be much easier to eat... Especially if ur taking food back to work, or eating in the go (like in the car). On a previous visit I got a dinner portion of pad Thai. It was is insanely huge portion. The Togo box was completely packed, easily suitable for 2 ppl. This time I went with the lunch portion. Bonus, it came with an egg roll (or soup). Bangkok hot wings (not pictured) are yummy, sticky and way addictive. **Be warned** If u think u can handle spice and always have no problem ordering a level 5 at other places.... THINK AGAIN. They don't whitewash their spice/heat level. Anything over a level3 could potentially dominate the meal and u wouldn't be able to fully appreciate the other wonderful Thai flavors. Pretty sure it's a Mom and her 2 daughters are the only employees/ owners and they do not disappoint. No matter how busy, I've never felt rushed. Have ordered from here many many times, unfortunately today something was wrong with the Tom Kha soup, color was off, smell was off and taste was off. Gravy was semi thick and they were generous with the shrimp and veggies. Flavor was okay. The pickled jalapeños and dried peppers they packed for us gave it more kick. This place is a hole in the wall on a dark street and that's usually where i find the best restaurants. We ordered a lot of plates for just three people - chicken satay, papaya salad, vegetable heaven w/ tofu, pad see ew, gai yang, tom yum soup. Everything was good! No disappointment here. The chicken satay was very well marinated and came with the right sauces; sometimes thai restaurants try to get away with giving the wrong sauce because they don't want to prep too many different ones. This appetizer already set a good tone for the rest of the dinner. The portion of papaya salad was bigger than I usually see in other places and it was great - authentic flavor. The tom yum flavor was also pretty accurate but a little too strong for me. The pad see ew was standard - pretty good, but nothing out of the ballpark. Now the Gai Yang (translates to grilled chicken) was a little misleading, I saw a photo on the front of the menu showing a whole sliced chicken breast over fried rice, but instead it came as chopped up thin pieces of chicken over fried rice aka chicken fried rice, it was still pretty good though. Also note, this place is serious on the spice as a Thai place should be, so when they ask you what you want on a scale of 1 to 4, start with 1. I got level 2 and it was pretty spicy, it was fine for me, but I know some of my friends wouldn't handle it well. Overall: Great service, GREAT PRICE, good food. As before, I always love the food. I have to say, though, they really need to hire a server or waiter. Owner is just overwhelmed with work, to the point I hesitate to go despite my great admiration of the food. What should take 30-45 minutes can go past 90 minutes. I'd like to be able to pop in for a quick lunch as it's 10 minutes from my office, but most days I'm not able to do so because of the delay. This place is pretty much what you think of when you hear "hole-in-the-wall." It's not clean, by any means, and the owner hangs out in the back drinking with his loud friends. It's family owned, with a very young girl taking orders. The neighborhood is somewhat shady..not compared to where I live in Southern California, just compared to the Mid-Cities area. I just had to get all that stuff out of the way in the beginning. Now on to the good stuff. The food is AMAZING. Where I live, I eat Thai food a lot. When I asked my family in Texas where they go for Thai, they didn't have an answer. So after finding this place on Yelp, I didn't know what it would be like or how it would compare. Let me tell ya, I would definitely be a regular at Thai Noodle if I lived in the area. We walked in on a rainy evening looking for some soup and Thai fresh and spicy goodness. Yelp warned me about the area and general conditions to expect so I was prepared. We didn't go for ambiance, just good food for a stormy night. The largest table held a few kids with their babysitter iPads and a tv tuned to disney movie. The other TV was for grandpa to watch the game while eating what looked like Popeyes chicken. I'm not judging. This is obviously a family business and you feel like you have walked into a family's living room. Don't mind us, I thought, we heard the food was good. The large tom kah was more than enough for the three of us. Watch out for the shrimp tails but super good. I ordered the whole fried fish. Wow! It was spicy and good but I should have ordered the filet so I didn't look like a greedy American. Pad Thai was generous and the spicy beef must have been good because I didn't get a taste before my husband made that disappear. The waitress was sweet and helpful and the food was as great. I heart Thai food. I rarely eat it, not sure why, but I do love it. So this tiny restaurant had great food. I got my usual green chicken curry with white rice and of course Thai tea. Level 1 I'm not a fan of spice. My food was yummy, no complaints on anything. I made 3 meals out of it but I did get an extra side of rice to go. My friend got combination fried rice level 2 spice. My last visit was 8 years ago. I know it is a new management. Food is awesome and the new modeling looks great, bright and clean. However 1 stars left out because of the service.
