This was my first time visiting CAVA. When I arrived, they were fairly busy, but the line moved quickly and service was efficient. I appreciated being able to sample the harissa since I wasn't familiar with the menu. That said, I was disappointed with the portion size of the rice. The amount served barely covered the bottom of the bowl, and I was told there would be an additional charge for more rice. For the price, I expected a more generous portion. The dining area was a little dirty, but it appeared to be due to the lunch rush and staff focusing on keeping the line moving. One employee also came across as somewhat rude when I asked a few questions about the ordering process, which was frustrating since it was my first visit and I was unfamiliar with how everything worked. Overall, the food was good and the experience wasn't bad, but the prices felt high for the portion sizes provided. I would consider returning, but I'd like to see more consistency in customer service and serving sizes. read more

Sad!! I rarely write a review and most are very positive, but tonight was a major disappointment at CAVA! NOTE: I have been to CAVA before and love the food (most of the time). However, tonight was really bad! First, I drove (not a short distance) to place a To Go order. Secondly, they were out of at least eight (8) items and I hoped for most of those. Third, NO BODY working was polite or happy to be doing their job. Not a smile. No "sorry". Not even a "Thank You". Just frowns and bad attitudes. Lastly, if you are out of key items that customers request, then you should NOT charge Full Price! Offer a discount or authorize your employees to accommodate a discount if requested. That was not the case at CAVA tonight and the pics are proof. BTW - not one person asked if I wanted pita bread/ chips nor was I asked if I wanted a drink, so didn't order those. Unfortunately, I will probably not make another special trip to North Arlington to give CAVA my business. If you decide to risk it, then I hope your experience is better than mine... I found a new fav! I did not know that there was so much diversity from bowls to pita bread. I loved the freshness of the things that were used and as a pescatarian I felt I had many choices. I had pita with hummus and corn, olives, with balsamic vinaigrette. I had to wait a little bit and the line got a little long before someone assisted us. Honestly, this was a great first Cava experience. Tons of options, great flavors, and the build-your-own bowl setup made it easy to get exactly what I wanted. Service was solid and attentive, and the drinks were a nice bonus too. That said, the price is a little steep for this to be a regular go-to. Still, the food felt worth it, and I really liked the decor -- clean, modern, and minimal without feeling cold. Overall, a solid spot I'd come back to, just not all the time. read more

I used the Cava order app to place my takeout order. After paying, it messaged me that the order would be ready in 15 minutes. After 20 minutes I arrived to pick up my food and it wasn't ready and the walk in-line only had a few customers in it. No waiting. My food actually took about forty five minutes from the time it was placed and while waiting watched customers walk in, order their food, pay and leave. Very frustrating. After all that the food wasn't all that great and the portions were smaller than normal. My wife and I like the food so next time I'll go back to walk-in ordering. read more

This is the CAVA North Arlington store. As usual trash cans overflowing- you now get smaller portions. The grilled chicken was tough , dry dark meat. The rest of my bowl was just ok. No one greets up. Every staff member looks like they're in a horrible mood. The cashier working at 4:15 pm on Friday July 10th was so unfriendly. No thank you. No smile. Worst Cava I've ever had. I love cava so much but this time it was actually inedible. I ordered it through DoorDash but it wasn't bad because of them it was because of y'all. My food when it arrived was half full.. Not worst my $15 at all so thanks for the waste of money. The food is great. Delicious.. top tier, service is good as well. However, my issue is the cleanliness of this place. Often when I come the trash bins are almost always full. Inside and outside so nowhere to put trash making the sit down experience not the best. Restrooms are not clean as well. I would understand if they are under staffed but I do see a full staff there. May just need a bit of delegating and schedule rotations. I would recommend this place for take out. If you want a good sit down experience Cava try the McPherson location in Crowley/ft worth area. I thought this place was super good! I had no idea what this place was, but I'm glad I tried it out! The restaurant is subway style, get in line and point to what you want on your food. I got a steak pita bread wrap. Talk about flavor! Oh my goodness. A generous mix of so much feta cheese, hummus, and well seasoned steak. My mouth is watering thinking about it. The wraps are really big. You can also do them as a bowl. We for a side of hummus as well. It comes with fired pita chips. I didn't like those at all. They were too greasy. Ok, it's a Saturday around 1048 in the morning. I place an order for 11. I get there at 1103. This is the 3rd I've eaten at CAVA. Not this one mind you. I'm not expecting it to be busy. It was. I thought my order would be ready on their to go area. It wasn't. You'd think the reason I'm upset is because of the time it took. Nah. I'm upset at how careless the staff seemed. Maybe one out of all of them seemed to care. A few orders before mine was missing things from the order. The next two were slung onto the shelf by the person who should have just put it on the shelf. This was my first-time trying Cava. I have heard from acquaintances and from social media that Cava is much better than Chipotle. I was a bit overwhelmed with how many different options there were for the build your own bowl or pita, especially since I wasn't familiar with what would be best combined together as a meal. So, I decided to try out one of their curated bowls, the Steak Mezze Salad (steak, feta, corn, tzatziki, red pepper hummus, pickled onions, arugula, spinach, and Greek vinaigrette). It was good, maybe a little too much Greek vinaigrette was added, so it made my bowl really wet and kind of oily towards the end of it. Wish I added rice to it since it only had greens. Cava is a bit more expensive compared to Chipotle, but understandable since there is a wider selection of items to make up your meals. The customer service was okay, could have been better. It was really hard to hear the girl that was working on our bowls, and she was a bit impatient when we were deciding what we wanted, even though there wasn't a line behind us. read more

Slowest "fast food" place ever! Came in and the line was long and thought it's a walk through line it couldn't take too long right? Hahahahaahaha. It took us almost 45 minutes to get to the front of the line to order and another 12 min for them to actually make our bowl. Food was not good enough to warrant a 45 min wait. I know this is a new place and they may have some kinks but they need some help. It was a mess and we will give them a few months to work it out before we go back to give it another shot. There's so many restaurants jumping onto the build your own meal vibe such as Chipotle, but over there you typically don't have to wait to be served for more than 15 minutes. Now, this was my first time trying CAVA and I've had recommendations to sample them a year ago, but time management just wasn't the option at the time. Upon walking in with my coworker who recommended we get a "quick lunch" since we're only allocated an hour to rest and eat. The line was long and at a standstill. They only had two people serving, two cooking meat in the back, and one of the servers multitasking with cashiering. Half of our lunch was spent on the hobby of standing in a long line. Upon getting to choose what to eat, I got the black lentils with argula. The argula greens weren't in fact that, but iceberg lettuce. Then I got to choose three dips, okay give me: red pepper hummus, eggplant dip, and harissa. All which were clearly marked as vegan. I chose the grilled vegetable medley that consisted of brussel sprouts, cauliflower, carrots, and broccoli pieces tossed in a lemony citric acid base. I asked for falafels which they ran out of. I was told once they were cooked and ready I would be notified as they going to put it on the side. The sauce was caesar tahini dressing that was vegan as well. I pay and get the green looking drink marked as cucumber mint agua fresa. It was delicious. And then I wait again for the falafels to be ready. The staff forgets about them giving me the falafels. I ask for the falafel, the staff ignores my request and continue assisting others then I beg again for the falafels. The staff walks away from serving to put four small falafels in a plastic cup. To my surprise, the food is delicious and extremely flavorful. However, the falafels were oddly prepared. The chickpeas weren't grinded up to a fine grain, but instead they stuffed whole chickpeas into the batter and fried it. The inside of the falafel was a pale beige and not the normal dark green indicating that they didn't add parsley. That threw me off and didn't digest well. I hope the other locations are better. Great concept, but they need to focus on efficiency and better meal preparation. read more

Been here a couple times now, usually always lunchtime on a weekday. Whether there's a line is hit and miss and how fast the line moves is always hit and miss as well.
