Love their salads. I have never had a bad salad from here. Service is always quick and friendly. I recently tried one of their breakfast burritos, the southwest one, and it fell really flat for me. The eggs were not seasoned at all, and the poblano peppers were listed as roasted. However they were raw, cold, and crunchy. Also nothing was distributed well, all the eggs were on one side and the turkey sausage on the other, so you just get a big mouthful of on thing with crunchy peppers. We got the salads that we normally get, the autumn salad and the Caesar salad. This location is a little difficult to get out of the driveway. I really enjoy Salad and Go. I think the only thing I would add/change would be the drink selection and the price is a little high in my opinion. For a restaurant that doesn't offer any inside dining or other amenities that come with inside dining (more staff and tables/air conditioning), I would think the prices should reflect this a little more. I always build my own salad. The ranch dressing is very good (I am picky about my ranch). The soup is good and the bread that comes with the salad is unique and very good. On one visit, I was nervous when I picked up my food and discovered they did not put the soup I ordered in the bag, but I didn't notice until got back to work. Due to the concept of "Salad and Go," there is no way to call the restaurant. So, I went online to customer service and sent in a request for a refund. I had been seeing these small, fast food salad places pop up everywhere and I was skeptical. But one day while out driving Lyft, I stopped to eat a healthy lunch in my car. I had the Cobb Salad. It had crisp spring /romaine lettuces, tomato, egg, bacon, avocado, blue cheese and grilled chicken with a blue cheese dressing. It was delicious! The lettuces were not wilted or did not show signs of aging. Everything was crisp and fresh. My grilled chicken was hot and tasty on its own. It was a nice sized salad and decently priced under $10. For what the place is, I'd say it's at the top of it's game. Cheap, fresh, salads. Pretty much it. I'd been wanting to try one of these for awhile. I finally got the chance a few days ago. I checked out the menu before I went, and decided to go with a build your own salad. Drove up, ordered, picked up and paid. Pretty fast, pretty simple. The only thing, and maybe I missed it, was a list of side items on the menu. I knew what I wanted beforehand, but I had forgotten one and didn't see anything listed on the menu. I remembered it so no big deal. Next time I go I've got to look over the entire order menu in the drive thru. But I would advise checking out the menu online before your first visit. It's a pretty big salad, especially for what you pay. Just under $7 seems super cheap for what you get. I expected a smaller portion than what the other guy's small size is, but it was about the same. Everything was fresh, and it was all really good. My only nit picking is no green olives, and the romaine was a little "damp" which led to a small bit of water in the bottom, but acceptable. I got the roasted chicken on my salad, also really good. I ordered Caesar dressing, but when I got back with the salad, I used a dressing I get from the store that I really like. So, can't comment on the dressing taste, but I'll get around to it. I quit going to the other salad joint awhile back because of some minor issues. (ahem) But I had no issues here. Also, saving between $3-5 on the same size salad is a nice. Some might think the menu is limited, maybe on proteins...meat, and maybe less add on items than the other place. But it suited me fine. Will surely be going back when I want a good salad. read more

I started ordering salads from Salad and Go and I must say -- I am just so pleasantly surprised by the low prices! Places like Salata are great but they are just too expensive for some greens and being able to get a salad with protein for just $7 is absolutely insane. It's extremely convenient, and they have a variety of toppings you can choose from, and of course -- you can upcharge for more protein or more toppings. You can also get wraps and overall, it is just a great place to grab a quick meal without spending too much money. It isn't out-of-this-world great but it is still a great salad place and it does fill you up -- their portions aren't small. Will be ordering takeout more in the future. The salads are probably the best option compared to the salad wraps although some salads are better when theyre in the wrap and others not so much. Though I will say you should not get the breakfast bowls at this location. First time coming here: the salad quality is mediocre. I got a build your own salad and they forgot a few ingredients. The ranch dressing consistency was 'watery' and tasted strange. The cold brew coffee is not good at all, I do not recommend trying it, tastes like water with a splash of burnt coffee, me and my coworker both had two sips and threw it away. A great salad that's convenient, inexpensive, and delicious! What a great idea for Arlington. They have great salad choices made with fresh ingredients. The proteins offered are chicken and tofu which are free. They also offer steak for an extra charge. You can also get your salad as a wrap if you need those extra carbs.
