The receptionist recommended the D4 Signature Head Spa, and it was exactly what I needed. The service included a head massage, scalp cleansing, hair wash and treatment, upper shoulder massage, hydrotherapy, and blow-dry. At $85, it was worth every single penny. Mandy took care of me, and she was absolutely wonderful. She was professional, attentive, and made the entire experience incredibly relaxing. The combination of the head and shoulder massage, scalp treatment, and hydrotherapy helped melt away so much of the tension I had been carrying. By the end of the session, I felt refreshed, relaxed, and so much better than when I walked in. The spa itself was clean, peaceful, and welcoming. It felt like a true escape from the stress of the day. I was also impressed by the extensive menu of services they offer and am already looking forward to coming back to try more of them. Payment is due at the end of your service - Head Spa Options: Ranging from 30-90min, there is a variety of options you can choose. If in doubt, talk to the staff. For me, I ended up switching from the luxury head spa option over to the Chinese Herb Spa due to my hair health and type. - Chinese Herb Spa: For those who are wondering about this option, the key difference is the products used. Overall, I loved the natural scents like ginseng and I do enjoy how my scalp felt after the session. Products didn't sting my head and my hair felt so light and airy after, even with the blow dry at the end. - Staff: Friendly and considerate :) - Interior: Quiet and relaxing. Do note that the space is divided by curtains vs actual rooms (except for when you get the blow dry or the changing room). - Other note: For the hair spa sessions, you are provided a towel like dress/top for your upper body and a basket to store your personal belongings that will be kept by your side for the whole time. The "lap pool" was 84 degrees which is way too warm for actual lap swimming. The locker situation was also frustrating. Day pass guests can only use lockers on the pool deck, not in the locker room, which defeats the purpose if you come prepared with clothes to change into after showering -- there's nowhere secure or convenient to store your belongings inside the locker room itself. On top of that, the locker room wasn't very clean and robes weren't provided. The pool area is open to all hotel guests, including kids, so it never felt calm or spa-like. Between the crowd, temperature of the pool, and limited amenities, it didn't match the spa experience that was advertised. I frequent hotel spas, and this was one of the most disappointing given the price. It would feel more appropriate at about half the cost, especially since parking isn't validated for day pass guests.
