My friend and I booked our seats for the Brunch Tour on March 29, 2025 at 11:00 am through the Comedy Bus website. The website was easy to use and reserve our tickets. About 10:35am, I arrived at the pickup location - Brass Monkey: 800 Allen's Avenue Providence, RI. I parked in the parking lot in the back of the building and walked to the front of Brass Monkey where the Comedy Bus was waiting. About 10:40am, they started to let people board the bus. I gave them my name and they ensured waivers were signed. My friend and I chose a row near the front. Each seat had a form for us to choose which drinks we wanted at the two stops. On the back of the seats in front of us, there was a bottle opener. Since guests are welcome to bring their own beer and wine to drink on the bus, my friend and I packed a small lunchbox-sized cooler with Barefoot Spritzers. Everyone arrived pretty much on time except for 1 couple. Brad Pierce, our first comedian, talked briefly about sights and neighborhoods in Providence and he asked the last couple to board the bus, which superpower they would like to have and they said speed. Brad said yes, speed is a good one since you were almost late for the tour. The second comedian was Matt from Lil Rhody Laugh Riot. Both comedians were really funny and had us laughing the whole trip. Our first stop was Moonshine Alley. Our drinks were brought to us and chicken and waffles were served. The chicken was very moist and the waffles were hot and fresh. The Moonshine Sangria was also very good. The second stop was Viva Mexico Cantina Grill and we had our second drink with a plate of steak slices with chips, avocado, eggs and salsa. The Classic Red Sangria was refreshing. The steak was a little dry for me, but with the salsa it was a lot better. The chips and avocado were very good. Overall, what is better than brunch, drinks, and comedy. By the end of the tour, everyone felt like family. We were all sharing drinks and laughter. It was truly an unforgetabble morning/afternoon. We were kept on time and arrived back at Brass Monkey, the pickup location, exactly in 3 hours.

Just had my baby shower here yesterday!…read more We rented one of the private rooms and the views alone were worth it - craaazy ocean views. The staff was attentive, warm, organized, and completely on top of everything all day. The biggest standout was the food. It was a brunch setup and every single thing was delicious - chicken and waffles, the best catered eggs I've ever had, pasta, salmon, and bacon I'll never forget. Huge shoutout to Dean for arranging everything and absolutely crushing the food and overall experience. I had friends and family come in from all over the country and everyone left impressed and in love with Rhode Island. I keep saying I just need to get a boat and become a member hahaha. Will def have this in my rotation for hosting events!

When we arrived there was dog poop everywhere in the site my kids kept stepping in it as well as…read moresome paper trash, people were being loud all night, day 2 there was well/ water issues which caused bathrooms to be closed and no on site water for a day. The pool seemed to be leaking as it was only half full in the am my 3yo could stand and it wasn't even up to his chest, they had a hose in filling it all day to keep it from going empty I guess. Leaky shower flooded woman's room overall kind of a mess as far as maintenance but all of those things aren't anything I would normally complain about. Things happen the worlds an imperfect place no big deal. The one thing that really upset me and ruined our stay was the aggressive rude seasonal campers screaming at me and at my children multiple times through the week. The staff was very unhelpful and told me well they are seasonal and you are a visitor ‍ we were not visitors to a site we booked and paid for a site for our family for a week stay Sunday to Sunday. I don't think it's to anyone's benefit to allow seasonal campers to terrorize families just for using the amenities mid week. We arrived to swim at 10am and were berated by a man screaming that it wasn't 10am yet asking me if I knew how to read to go look at the sign etc I showed the time on my phone as did several other patrons including the man's own wife. Despite this he reported us to staff for arriving at 10 minutes to 10 I pushed back and ensured the staff that we did in fact arrive at ten and she became rude and hostile I looked right at the man and reminded him that it was 10am per everyone's clock including his wife's. The staff yelled at me for speaking to him. She ended up apologizing and saying that if she didn't reprimand me in front of him he would tell her boss and she would get in trouble like what? I don't think it's to anyone's benefit for management to encourage or support seasonal campers to harass shorter term campers. This only emboldens them to continue or escalate their behavior. One of them yelled at my autistic son on the playground making him extremely emotionally distressed my husband was there watching him and told the guy if he had a problem to let him know and he would address it with our son and not to speak to our son again especially being aggressive. Shortly after the playground incident a group of them got together and came and stood at the end of my site scowling at me and grumbling I ignored them but it was very strange and aggressive behavior. This campground is advertised as a family friendly place if the owners want it to be a seasonal only location they should run it as such and change their business model, they could also consider making it a 55+ retirement community. Worst camping experience of my life to date.

***UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT within the last week***…read more I read previous reviews and saw some negative ones. The new management seems to have stepped things up. I could not put into words how GREAT Wawaloam campground. Sometimes when you visit a campground it feels like you are staying in a parking lot. This is AMAZING. The sites are spacious and incredibly maintained. It is beautiful. Trees and grassy area everywhere. The staff is extremely nice and accommodating. There are things for the kids to do. There is a pool, water slide, splashpad, minigolf, big playground and plenty of room for the bike riding. The property is well layed out. For those not traveling with children there is an area that was by us that was 55 and older. The location is not that far from Newport (which is where we were visiting) and Providence. We were only there for 3 days would highly recommend this location. We will be back again and for a much longer time.

Plenty of parking at $3.00 per day. Took the train into South Station. Wow. Amazing. So…read morerelaxing and comfortable. Quite ride. Smooth. No traffic stress or concerns about parking in town. Tickets were $10.00 to ride all weekend. A 24 hour ticket. Train is so clean. Red padded comfortable seats. A bathroom if needed. Two floors of seating. The only way, in my option to go to Boston.

This is a family friendly campground located right in Hope Valley, RI…read more This campground has a cute and well stocked camp store that also sells ice and firewood. It appears that a large majority of the campers are seasonal. There are a lot of amenities to enjoy although we missed out on some just because we went off season. Even though we were only there for the weekend we encountered all very friendly pets and people during our stay. I would definitely return during the regular season so I can get in that pool! Dunkin is in a Mobil full service gas station in nearby Richmond.

Years ago this station was much better. Morning rush hour trains are consistently 5-10 minutes late…read moredue to the amount of passengers that get on at this stop and proceeding stops. MBCR needs more conductors on these trains to collect tickets and have more doors open for boarding/disembarking to speed up transit times. There is not enough parking at the station anymore for the number of commuters. By 8am (for those of us who need to be at work at 9), there are little to (more likely) no parking spots left at the big log on the outbound side. GATRA needs to do something to increase the parking, maybe make a garage-style lot like Route 128 Station, or buy up some of the land from the city of Attleboro to expand ground-level parking. Private lots in the area are also full by 8am. This is a busy station due to commuters taking the train in both directions each morning! Needs more parking!

It's located right next to a strip mall and a Super Walmart, so the location is convenient for those who want to shop and/travel. There is lots of parking and the landscaping around here is very nicely kept.
