My wonderful sisters ordered this Doggie from 1800 flowers arrangement for me. I have sent them to friends in Cali, NY and Florida. They loved them. I was so excited to get one and Rhonda's Flowers & Gifts ----Chantilly, Virginia 20151 sent the below pic. Rhonda was so nasty and said horrible things about 1800 flowers dumb arrangements - dogs and birthday cakes not flowers, she said. She said she loses money with them because everyone complains her flowers don't look like the pictures. I called 1800 flowers they could not believe she talked about their company so badly. They definitely overcharge based on what they think they can get out of you, do not trust the listed prices as they don't abide by them whatsoever. I bought a bouquet of flowers that costs no more than 70 bucks maximum at other florists and they charged over 130 bucks. Also didn't provide an itemized receipt so I know for a fact she overcharged. Based on the prices they had listed it shouldn't have been more than 50 dollars, it was a medium sized bouquet and no roses. read more

Boring bouquet. I keep trying to like it, but I can't get over how haphazard and dull it is. It's like someone scooped up all the cheap, random flowers that fell out of other bouquets, then stuffed them in a cheap vase. No attention to color or cohesion. Yellow and white, yellow and white...oops one is brown, one's petals are falling off, and one is broken, oh well, stick it in there with a rose and some filler and no one will notice! Thank goodness for the two CHEAP, pink carnations...only things that add a pop of color. BTW, I googled the 5 cheapest flowers and they are all in this bouquet. Horrible service & untrustworthy! My sister ordered via 800flowers a bouquet of graduation flowers for my 5 year old. First, the basket should have included a bear but instead it had a dog plush. Not really a big deal. Second the flowers were only a few daisies and the rest were green filler leaves. Huge scam right there as it barely contained enough flowers to look decent. Third they sent a driver to come pick up the the basket, no replacement no apology!! This place thought they could send a piece of garbage instead of a decent bouquet that my sister bought because they figured they could get away with their little scam. Never trust these people. Online orders are placed in good faith that the store you are ordering from is going to deliver the right product but instead these people take advantage that the buyer is out of state & won't see the product they deliver. Almost ruined Mother's Day. I placed an order through 1-800-Flowers which was filled through this local florist. I paid for what I believed to be an elaborate arrangement which cost over $150 with delivery. I placed the order well in advance of the holiday and scheduled a Friday delivery because I was out of town and wanted to surprise my wife and brand new mother. Much to my dismay, things went down hill quickly. My wife texted me if I had flowers sent because she received a voicemail from a flower shop claiming they attempted delivery but no one was home so they left the flowers at the front door. My wife had been home all day with the baby and no one had come to the door. She took a look outside with the baby in tow and there were no flowers. She called the flower shop back and said there were no flowers out front. Apparently, Rhonda's had incorrectly written down the delivery address (which was correct with 1-800-Flowers) and delivered to one of my neighbors. The shop called my wife back and explained their mistake and told her that if she wanted the flowers she needed to go get them from our neighbor's house or to call the neighbor to ask that they bring them! Seriously? I paid extra for delivery and when the shop delivers to the wrong address they tell the intended recipient to go pick them up? I found out about this as I was traveling home from a work trip. Concerned that my intended gift of flowers was not going to make it to my wife, I stopped at the 24 hour Walmart near the airport and bought a $15 bouquet. When I got home, it turns out that our neighbor had brought the flowers late Friday evening, but they were not even close to the elaborate arrangement I had purchased. In fact, they were smaller and of significantly lower quality than the $15 bunch I had purchased from Walmart! One of the four sunflowers had already broken and was hanging down and several of the exceedingly small roses were already wilting. We'll be lucky if the arrangement lasts through the weekend. Attaching a picture to confirm. Absolute garbage. I was completely embarrassed to have those flowers delivered to my wife on her first Mother's Day. I am working with 1-800-Flowers to rectify because the flowers that were eventually delivered by my neighbor are completely unacceptable for the price paid. read more

My grandmother passed away suddenly and we were in need of casket sprays and flowers for both the cremation and memorial. We looked up local florist shops and most were online ordering without an actual storefront, but i managed to find Rhonda's which conveniently was right down the street from where we lived - only 5 minutes away! We went in and picked out the arrangements we liked out of a book, told the friendly girl working in the front our preferences (more roses, less white flowers) and our budget AND all for next-day delivery for the cremation. The casket spray was beautiful and followed our preferences exactly, as well as the floral basket for the memorial the next day. Rhonda's really took care of our floral needs and made it easy for us during a tough time in our family - they are able to take care of last minute floral arrangements, work with your budget, and listen to your floral preferences! Since I've only had one experience with them, I'm giving them 4 stars, but I know where I'm going if I ever need floral arrangements again and who to recommend if anyone needs one...will def bump up another star when i go back and they are consistent! read more

I live in California and recently ordered an arrangement for my mom's birthday. The woman I spoke with on the phone was very nice and led me to believe she understood my request. I selected something from their website and although I knew there might be some substitutions due to seasonality, I specifically requested they not include any flowers that could die within a few days. That's why I ordered the the 'Plants Galore' arrangement. On the website, the arrangement looks very sophisticated and included a flowering plant for some color. In reality, the arrangement they sent looked rather lackluster and I was very disappointed to see they included purple daisies. Not only did the daisies "cheapen" the look of the arrangement, I was less than pleased they ignored my request about including flowers. The whole point was to have an arrangement that would last a good month or so. Besides the flowers not matching the look & feel of the arrangement, the height of the flowers was unattractive & made them stick out like a sore thumb. I was willing to give them the benefit of the doubt and called the store the following day to discuss. Even though I called before closing hours, it went to voicemail. I left a message and never heard back. I've attached pictures of what I thought I ordered and what was delivered...very different in my opinion. read more

I placed a same day order with Rhonda's Flowers & Gifts for delivery in Aldie, VA today and they were amazingly accommodating and helpful!!! I was calling from CA and given the time difference, it was already past 1pm ET and I was having a difficult time finding a florist or cupcake delivery for same day all to go all the way to Aldie. There needs to be more places in Northern VA to handle last minute orders...I mean there are times when we don't have the luxury of 48-hr advance notice for orders. Thank goodness for Rhonda's! We purchase flower arrangements for the church from them and then the person who purchased them gets to take them home after Sunday service. They are always beautiful and they last at least two weeks. They have been very accommodating even when we call them at the last minute or have to change when we need to pick up the flowers. In one arrangement, there were 3 red roses and a lot of white flowers and a couple of red carnations. It cost over $70 but we were very disappointed because it did not reflect what was ordered. Rhonda was very unwilling to accept criticism when called. The 2nd arrangement they delivered to the wrong address and left it sitting on a front stoop in the freezing temperature. By the time we discovered it, we had a very challenging time getting a new arrangement and that one was all white....perfect for a funeral.
