    Baby Back Rib Platter
    Shardai G.

The food was a pretty good option for the holiday weekend. The baby back rib platter was good and filling. The ribs were tender, the Mac and cheese were flavorful, and the corn bread was tasty. I ordered to go and my food was about a 20 minute wait. They have dinning room, but it was very dim and dark inside, like a pub. Overall pretty good. It's not easy finding good bbq in Philly.

Best ribs in Philly! Huge order of fries! Great old school atmosphere. Come here- you will not be disappointed

Rib Rack has been a Philly staple forever. You can't go wrong with the wings but this time I ordered baby back ribs with fries, onion rings, coleslaw and cornbread. It was delicious and enough for two meals. I also took home a pack of cornbread muffins because they are delicious. Our service was on point. It's a little dark inside so you need time for your eyes to adjust. It was super clean. I noticed that there were lots of people picking up to go orders.

The food was just as I remembered and as awesome as ever. The restaurant is as dark and possibly dingy as I could imagine For the dingy part you have to imagine because you can't see anything lol. The baby back ribs I and my wife got were delicious as they've ever been just noticed a few things missing the one of One of which the usual piece of watermelon to accompany your ribs. I also saw an added colored greens to the menu which were horrible and they are one of my favorite things I don't know how you get so little taste in them. Ok that's the good stuff here is the stuff they really need to do. Please update your place it's still dark as hell and I don't know if it's clean god knows I would need a flashlight and your bathrooms are in dire need of updating the men's room have a hand air dryer who's only use it to Bang your fucking head on when you're trying to wash up it was in stalled in1985 it hasn't worked since 1988 (and that's being generous) lol there's some weird vent thing to the left that's been there for 20 years and your GD Faucets suck customers like to wash their hands two at a time not one hand then the other. You gotta be making enough money to fix some of this up. Your buffalo wings are spectacular I don't know why it's such a hassle when I ask for too plain for my wife out of my 18 order you would think I was asking for Jesus Christ to join us for dinner? Oh as a 1.29 for an extra small blue cheeses is a bit much as well as $.99 for BBQ when dining in, plus our bill was over a $100.00 with tip. You can't tell me you can cut that that down by at least 25% and still make a healthy profit?? but I will pay because it's good but that doesn't mean it chaps my ass lol as a long time customer. I did find out one good thing at least you don't rob tips from your waitresses who work hard as hell when a customer tipped with a credit card the owner of RibRack used to dock them what ever percentage the credit card charged them thats an asshole move at least that has changed from what I understand. Please note this is from someone who loves your food, establishment, and people. I just want you to be better.

Broccoli was not charred but burned and extremely difficult to bite through. The mac and cheese was an offense against nature. It was a pale brownish white with a strange sweet flavor. The pasta was mush. The worst part, though, were the proteins. Salmon was incredibly bland and overcooked. Chicken was not much better. I won't be back.

We were pleasantly surprised to be offered menus upon arrival, which isn't typical for fast casual dining. While reviewing them, one of the team members shared a bit about DIG's history of growing their own food. Due to their expansion, they partnered with trusted vendors to maintain their commitment to fresh, high-quality ingredients. My meal definitely proved they've made great choices. I chose to build my own bowl with salmon as the protein and sides of cucumber tomato salad, mac & cheese, and sweet potatoes. The staff was wonderful--they happily looked up ingredient details to answer my questions and even offered samples to help me decide. Such great service! The cucumber tomato salad was fresh, colorful, and visually beautiful. This is exactly what food should be. The garlic aioli was thick and full of flavor and made for a great dip. The char on the sweet potatoes was so good. The mac & cheese ended up being my favorite side. It was creamy, cheesy, and topped with the most satisfying crumble. The salmon (I chose the non- spicy option) was cooked to perfection with crispy skin and great flavor. As for drinks, DIG uses Boylan Bottling Co. for their fountain sodas instead of the typical Coke or Pepsi lineup. I'd never heard of Boylan before, but after trying their diet cola, I'm a fan--it's been around since 1891 for a reason! Overall, this was such a positive dining experience. I try to eat clean, wholesome foods, and DIG really delivers on that with fresh, beautiful ingredients and attentive service. If I'm in the Jenkintown area again, I'll definitely stop by--and I'm crossing my fingers they open a location closer to Bucks County soon!

I decided to order the viral crispy falafel for myself and a viral crispy chicken shawarma combo for my fiancé from Bishos. I placed my order at 4:06 PM online and walked into the store 20 minutes later. It still wasn't ready so I sat down and enjoyed the lovely ambiance inside. Plenty of seating for customers, an area for photo ops and dates and water for those participating in Ramadan were just some of the perks I noticed. The employees appeared to have been speaking Spanish and they were all friendly with one another. It's clean and airy inside. I definitely want to come back and sit down for a meal. Prices were fair - about $34 for a combo meal (with fries and drink) and my falafel wrap. That includes a service fee and a 10% tip. 15 more minutes had gone by and the woman behind the counter brought my food to me packaged tight inside a brown paper bag. When I arrived at home, that first bite into the viral crispy falafel was unreal. It was so pleasing to hear the crunch, but most importantly, it tasted amazing. The falafel was fresh and so were the other ingredients. My fiancé got the combo with French fries and I can confirm the fries are crispy and seasoned very well. This is my new go-to whenever the taste for falafel hits. Thanks, Bishos!

The food wasn't bad but it wasn't good either. They have a lovely spot and they're definitely going for some sort of modern/fresh urban style that's not being lived up to. I love Asian fusion and my wife said she's tried one of their locations before and that we should try it, but it was a lot of oil and not a lot of flavor other than that. The chicken was kind of rubbery which I saw another review about and I'm surprised people love this spot as much as they do. This is not a bad spot if you want something new to try, it was a fun idea and interesting to try a new take. They don't have any real pictures of their food advertised and they're trying really hard to make it look like a fresh healthy menu, I don't think their meals reflect that. You could tell that the chicken was put in the box first, then the noodles mixed with a couple base veggies, then the cauliflower and blue cheese sauce on top. It didn't feel like a mixed vegetables stir fry the way I imagined. Again I think this could be really fun for people to try as a new spot, but I'm not sure we'll try them again. Their desserts do look great and may be worth us giving them another chance if we ever want to go out for a treat!

I attended RTF's first ever 5 course vegan dinner affair. It was elegantly setup with a piano…read moreplayer, cocktails (zero cocktails as an option) and spoon appetizers as a starter. I was lucky enough to attend an Elite event including RTF beforehand- so I wasn't signing up for this with a completely blind eye. What's nice about RTF being able to have this event is that it might be more accessible to people in the area because it's a one time deal. The meal kit delivery service maybe could be a one time deal too, but I am not sure. I also learned that RTF shines on its own with the meal delivery kit service because they serve fresh food. Purple Carrot, Thistle, and Sakara Life are all frozen (or placed in a refrigerated package) even though accessible nationally. RTF can only deliver in the Philadelphia area and pickup would have to be done in a limited time frame of around ~11-1 on-site on a Monday if not opting for delivery service. Before the meal started, chef Josh introduced his event team. He expressed some personal stories that went into the dishes such as how he created a classier version of hummus on his own from his learnings and desire for hummus. Then something about his mother making the latke. So, he "had to" have a dish based on this and his mother was present at the event. His version of a chef based hummus was creamy with fresh vegetable accessories and it definitely made me like hummus a lot more than your typical grocery store. Third came the risotto dish- my dish was a bit too oily, but fine otherwise. Then, the King Trumpet mushroom platter which replicated a "steak" with the mushroom just being slightly perfectly burnt. At least one of my friends did not like the King Mushroom- they may not be used to pricier things that are a bit different than what they are used to. The cauliflower puree added was essential to make this dish stand out. Lastly, dessert was a lemon black sesame cake with coconut cream and peaches. This was an Internet recipe as Josh is not as big on bakery (if I remember correctly), but the interpretation came out fabulous anyway! It's hard to choose one "best" item as it was a tie between the hummus, King Mushroom dish, and the dessert cake for me. The day ended with optional coffee w brown sugar and a choice of soy milk or oat Milk and a surprise chocolate chip cookies mini gift bag. (All unpictured) When I wanted to speak to Josh as he was in the back area cleaning up, his mother half-jokingly told me that he probably didn't want to hear from her. It looked like his mother pulled him out from whatever he was doing, but he was nice to spend some time with me and hopefully got some good ideas he can implement. We talked about how he had extra ingredients he would not want to waste and I mentioned TooGoodToGo. So, if you see an RTF TooGoodToGo, you heard it here first! Nothing But Love Soulfood Catering uses TooGoodToGo at the Culinary Collective. I learned that there was significant cost to rent the dining area even though rent is already paid to use the kitchen setup of the Culinary Collective. There was cost for the staff and the food is fresh. Many of the ingredients chosen are a higher quality and standard, and people don't always realize this. The availability of various items may not have been known except within a limited time frame.
