My brother and I had both ordered a whiting platter, 6-large wings and fries. While consuming large quantities of fried food isn't good for you, this was pure heaven in taste, and texture. Some places go overboard on the breading for both chicken and seafood, but not at Peter's. The fries are crinkle cut, but not overcooked. Nice and flexible. While it took a little longer than I'd like for our order to be done, Al ll the food came out extremely hot, they opened the lids for us to not only verify that they got our order right (which is rare, but very welcomed) but to allow us to dress them up with sauces, salt/pepper/ketchup, and cajun seasoning! This place has been serving the Cheltenham/Mt Airy communities for many years, and is definitely a gem of the neighborhood's Mom & Pop cuisine. Service: family run black owned business. They are very customer focused and are happy to customize your platters. They offer drinks, dessert and different soul food: turkey wings is a popular one.
