Went here on a recommendation from a CoWorker. The food was ok, not over the top and definitely not the Texas Style BBQ we are used to. The food had good flavor but very little if any smoke ring or smoke flavor. I had the brisket and jalapeño cheese sausage. The brisket lacked any smoke flavor and was a tad dry but it was tender, The jalapeño cheese sausage could have use more jalapeño, but I get why some people tone it down. I would eat here again while in town.

Wow this was great bbq. My hubby and I brought our son and a couple of his friends. We had a variety of items. All were very good. The server was friendly and knowledgeable. She suggested the smoked grilled and it was good. The restaurant is decorated with typical bbq style. It was a bit smoky and smelled great. The food came out fairly quickly. We are all full The bathrooms were also clean.

RibCrib is my favorite BBQ place in Clovis. Usually, I go for dinner but today I went for lunch on a Sunday. I arrived at 11:30 and it was fairly empty. But it quickly filled up as noon came around. It seemed very popular with families. I was greeted by a friendly hostess and quickly seated. My server arrived promptly and took my drink order. I ordered iced tea which was fantastic! I am kind of a iced tea snob and RibCrib met my high standards. The tea was clearly fresher brewed and very good. The server was attentive but not overbearing. The food arrived quickly and was very hot. The lunch menu is expansive with many options including numerous salad options. I ordered the Pigman sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy. The mashed potatoes and gravy were delicious. I really enjoyed the gravy. The sandwich was out of this world. It was piled high with various pork selections that were all cooked to perfection. The restaurant was very clean and comfortable. The tables and booths were equally comfortable. The RibCrib is a great place for families it groups. The only reason why I didn't give it 5 stars was the bathroom. While it was spotless, it was tired and needed a upgrade. It did not match the rest of the restaurant.

Motherload with mashed potatoes and Mac's and cheese

This place had a friendly great atmosphere. We were seated right away and that was a major plus for us. They have all you can eat ribs on Tuesday. And they will keep bringing them. The ribs were good but not great. The Mac's and cheese tasted like boxed. And the green beans were not great. BUT ... the pulled pork is fantastic. The apps we ordered were amazing. Loved the potato skins with pulled pork in it. The fried pickles were also pretty great. The queso with pulled pork was good and the chips were thin and crispy. When we got to our regular meal we were already pretty full. But the meats we had in the Motherload were tasty. My favorite is still the pulled pork. The baked beans were also super tasty. The desserts were ok. So overall a 4 star experience. I would have done 4.5 if available. Will visit again next time I'm in town.

    A bad corn dog

Food- not great. We got the chips and queso as a shareable and I'm fairly certain they used 10 pounds of salt per one ounce of cheese. Meal wise I got the green chile burger. It was devoid of any flavor. McDonald's has better burgers than this place. The fries were good though. My wife got the classic burger. It wasn't that bad and it at least had seasoning on it. My kids corn dog looked like they left it in a deep fryer for about 30 minutes to long. Service- the only time we saw our waitress was when she took the order, when we got our drinks, and when they brought the food. They never came by to refil and drinks. Overall- Save your money go someplace else.

This location is really dark but it is open. We walked it and it was dead. The person who asked about our party didn't seem to be having a good day but we still wanted to try this place. The ambiance is good Inside. Seems festive. The service from our waitress was good. She was friendly and took our orders correctly. The food. The only reason they are getting 4 stars is due to that they ran out of chicken! We ordered the chips and queso, which was really thick. We added the salsa that they provided to the cheese and way better even w flavor. I ordered the sliced brisket- one of the best briskets I have ever tasted. It was juicy and flavorful. So good. Wish I had more than 4 slices but the side salad made up for it I guess because it was big! Not a side portion. Could have used some croutons instead of the crispy things they add. Another item that was ordered was the pork sandwich. It was good as well and the coleslaw on it was good but eat it fast or the bun will get soggy. I had sweet tea which was good not too sweet and not strong or old. They give you a to go cup that's pretty good to keep. I would try again and this time hopefully have chicken!!!

PROS: Recent dine in experience. Came in during lunch time and was seated right away. Our waitress was timely & attentive. The Carolina pulled pork sandwich and ribs were pretty satisfying. CONS: An employee decided to sit in the next section over from us and other guests dining in..while filling the silverware sleeves with clean silverware she was rubbing her face and eyes, hair, taking a private FaceTime call as she wore her personal purse on her arm. Honey, please that is unsanitary for all of us. Please take some courtesy in your job and guests dining in by having class hands/ gloves while doing this. Yuck, will think about returning after seeing this employee handle her job.

Rib Crib BBQ & Grill. Baby backs, fried okra, and pickle spear.

I was in Clovis on a Tuesday afternoon for a work related meeting. I had looked up the best rated restaurants on Yelp way before I arrived. The Rib Crib stood out, and I saw they had an all you can eat special every Tuesday. This special was all you can eat ribs and sides starting at $15.99. I'm assuming it costs $15.99 for the St. Louis ribs, because I paid $18.99 for the baby back ribs (they have you specify which ribs you want when you first order). Combined with a $2.59 iced tea I paid a total of $23.35 (with tax) for a mountain of good food. My server, Halle, was super attentive and I never saw the bottom of my iced tea glass. By the way, the tea is fresh here and super good and they have both unsweetened (my favorite) and sweet tea. Halle earned her money this night because I had her bring me four, half racks of baby backs, Cowboy beans, a side salad with Blue cheese, pickle, and fried okra with ranch dressing. In addition, I had four glasses of iced tea. The ribs had lots of meat falling off the bone and were impregnated with smoke. I tried all three barbecue sauces: original, fire, and mustard. I thought the fire wasn't hot enough and had some off flavors, the mustard was too sweet, but the original was pretty good. To be honest, I ate most of my ribs without sauce, since the smoky flavor was so good. All the sides were steaming hot, except for the salad, which was large, fresh, and cold. Halle gave me an iced tea to go and was a very friendly waitress. Overall, a wonderful dining experience. I wish we had a Rib Crib in the Albuquerque metro area.

I can't recommend a restaurant that lies to customers just to get you to come through the door. I called ahead of time and asked if they served beef ribs and they told me yes, however when I got there and inquired about it they told me they only serve pork ribs. I ended up ordering BRISKET 'N' BIRD which is chopped brisket and sliced chicken breast and two sides of your choice. The food came out quickly and was not even warm as if were already shared out and ready for someone to order it. I was very hungry and it tasted ok, the service was subpar, and all in all not a great experience. Very disappointed

After a long day driving across TX, the last thing we wanted to do when we stopped in Clovis for…read morethe night was to order takeout. We YELPed restaurants, and one of our other favorites in town was closed, so we took a chance on the Cotton Patch Cafe. They were open for dine-in, and the whole experience was absolutely wonderful. Service was excellent. Our server, Hope, did a great job meeting all our needs -- including a large print menu (during COVID, when everything has to be wiped down again...), and she was as accommodating and pleasant as can be. The food was off the page. We both ordered burgers, one Nachadoches, and one traditional with cheese. We got sides of fries and onion rings. Normally, we don't eat the buns, but these were magnificent, not your run-of-the-mill hamburger buns! The burgers were juicy and tender, and the toppings as fresh and tasty as could be. The onion rings were HUGE, and perfectly breaded and fried, and there was a slight sweetness to them that was delightful. The french fries were nicely cut, but could have used a bit more time in the fryer to get just a little crispier. Not everything can be perfect, right? Next time we come through Clovis, we'll be back. And to the owners, thanks for that message of hope on the windows: Faith Over Fear!

Waited 30 minutes got back to hotel and was missing the homemade ranch dressing and the butter cake dessert that I ordered and paid for. My order gets messed up at every one of these locations - it happened recently in round rock Texas in Austin and on the first time when they messed up the order I had tipped . when I went for the makeup order I didn't tip. Tonight here in Clovis New Mexico I also didn't tip. It doesn't seem to make any difference, the kids just don't care! The food sure is good but I'm waiting for Mike the manager to deliver the missing items because I didn't want to go back out and I'm so upset I'm going to start always auditing this place because I noticed they twist the bag shut every time..."ugh, don't close it up; let's go through everything on the receipt first?" it gets better so the phone number I called on the receipt is actually for a location in Dallas Texas? Support Mike the manager I got a call saying they were down in the lobby and there was no one there. The front desk lady help me look at the actual phone number for the Clovis Location and sure enough the receipt print the wrong phone number. So thanks for trying Mike in Frisco Texas; but the store I had the order feck up From is in Clovis New Mexico
