I melted like the filet mignon at Ruth's Chris that you pay $175 for by itself and my ribs came with Mac and cheese and mash potatoes. This was the slowest BBQ restaurant ever. Ordered the 3 meat plate. All items should have been precooked. The waitress was great but it took way to long. I understand a wait if they had too cook a burger or something. I've never seen a restaurant charge an additional $2 for brisket. The meat was almost cold. The brisket was pre sliced and didn't have any flavor or a smoke ring. The ribs were seasoned but again no smoke flavor. The polish sausage was uneventful as well. First time here. The service was very good and our waitress was very sweet and attentive. Didn't have to wait for drink refills and food came out quick. We ordered the 'Ribsanity' to share, which was half baby back and half St. Louis style ribs. The serving size was plenty for two. The ribs were not my favorite - they were a little too dry and the meat fell off the bone just picking them up so they were very messy. Maybe I'm weird but I like a little room to 'gnaw' on the rib bones, not scrape the meat off the plate. The hot BBQ sauce was very tasty though, and not too spicy, just right. Also, the bark was very tough on some of the pieces, and more than once I bit into tiny side bones that were difficult to spot due to the mushiness of the meat. The sides were very good - the salad had little cheese curls on top that were very tasty as well as interesting. Ranch dressing tasted homemade - perfect. The best thing about this visit was the service and the dessert. We had the cheesecake with cherry topping and it was delicious!! Update: second time here and service was still amazing. I usually dont hold high hopes for these types of joints, which is why I group them with Dickies and Spring Creek instead of something youd find on the TX BBQ trail. I was pleasantly surprised by this one, albeit you prob wont find it in the Tx Monthly top 50 anytime soon. Its decent food, pretty quick and not overpriced. The experience as a whole isnt very memorable - akin to visiting a Chili's on a Thursday afternoon, but certainly not horrible. The real negative and why I dinged them a star, was the sauce. Everything on the table tasted like it had been cut with an excessive unmeasured amount of vinegar. Ive eaten bbq from coast to coast and north to south borders. I know what "vinegar based" sauce is, and should taste like. This isnt it. I tried the sauce on the next table (all varieties too). Same thing. While meat should hold its own without sauce (and this does well at that), sauce makes it fun, and I like to have it. For fast food type bbq, this place could really shine if theyd QC that sauce. read more

This was our first time. We love the decor. We ordered the 3 meat combo, with three types of meat. None of them were warm they were more room temperature. The ribs fell off the bone and were tasty even though they were room temperature. The chicken, some of it was moist and some of it was dry. The brisket was dry. There are three types of sauce to choose from that sit on the table in containers. None of the meat is sliced in front of you like at other barbecue places. My mom said she'd go to Dickey's (now called Southern BBQ in Sanger, Tx...which is 5 stars) before she'd come back here. The food rated as a one-star but I gave it a two-star because of the friendly, helpful staff. Handicapped stall is out of order, wonder how long... The fried pickles were good! I had a loaded potato with brisket and it was hard and Luke warm. The waitress took it back and they brought back a huge potato that was piping hot but I really couldn't find much brisket at all. Needed more butter, cheese, sour cream. It had been sitting out for a while on the counter. Desert was melted completely. No utensils to eat with. No napkins. First, rib meat is not supposed to separate from the bone. If they do, you've overcooked them and they will be dry. Second, if you rely on the sauce to bring some moisture back to your ribs, your ribs are too dry. Finally, your ribs are too dry. Don't get me wrong, they're probably the best ribs in town, but then again, they may very well be the only ribs in town. This reminded me of eating at a KFC but for ribs. Nothing special, unless you're looking for fast food ribs. If that's what they're going for they've succeeded. All in all, nothing to write home about but fills the belly. read more

Service was horrible. After sitting down, waited 10 mins for a server. Funny cuz there's gotta be 20 people on staff. Seems you have to have tattoos to work there.
