Scrambled eggs , potato, beans

I ordered a Breakfast Plate was not good at all. I thought the eggs would be real eggs they look and tasted powdered. Everything thing was bland to the taste. It was my first time trying them so I probably will not again.

Menu

Got the chicken cilantro chicken tacos and I'm addicted. The shredded beef is amazing too!!!

Raw bacon

I used to come here three or four times a week. The last time I ordered bacon egg and cheese breakfast tacos the bacon was Almost raw and made me sick. This time I specifically told the person taking the order That I wanted crispy bacon. I still got uncooked bacon. They are going to make someone very sick.

Revotillo (hot) taco

Finally stopped in to try some tacos. I tried the egg with shredded beef and revoltillo (hot) tacos. I came in and went right up to order. No lines. I was in and out quickly. They have a salsa bar where you can get some pico de gallo, jalapeños or salsas for tacos. I went with the green salsa. It was spicy and it made me happy. The tacos: the first one with shredded beef (1.95) appeared to have more egg than beef. Unless they chopped the beef so tiny I couldn't see it in the eggs. It was ok. The revotillo taco (1.65) comes with scrambled eggs with hot salsa. The spice level was not hot for me. I poured the green salsa for more of a spicy kick. This taco was also ok. Overall, the tacos were ok (2 stars). They were super quick and the prices were not bad (1 extra star). I may need to try more here to know for sure.

Tacos are pricey but full. Place is good for breakfast or brunch. Nice people and nice quiet atmosphere. The tortillas are top notch!

Terrible customer service. They often mess up orders and they never apologize. Spend your money at a place that appreciates your business.

Overpriced tacos that were nothing special. Paid listen fuck $29 for six breakfast tacos. Ridiculous! They weren't even good.

I was hoping for the traditional brown gravy, but this dish came with a spicy red version instead. (Reason for 4 stars) The meat was tender, the tortillas were fresh, and the sauce was hot and flavorful, just not quite the brown gravy I grew up loving as a San Antonio girl. Our waitress was wonderful: friendly, attentive, and very accommodating. She switched easily between Spanish and English, which made our whole table feel comfortable since one person in our group is bilingual. The seasoned potatoes were spot on: crispy, tender, and well seasoned. The refried beans were classic and delicious. Portion sizes were generous for the price, and the restaurant itself was clean with plenty of space for our group of four. Overall, Julio's was a great stop after the race. It might just become our go-to spot for future Hippo Runs. If you're local or have visitors in town, definitely add Julio's to your list.

My buddy and coworker recommended we go to Pollos Asados El Norteño off South FM 1660 in Hutto. Good idea. Located in a strip mall connected to a Valero gas station, there were a few people inside. We placed our order, with me ordering their Caldo de Pollo. It included two chicken drumsticks, potatoes, cobbled corn, carrots, celery, and squash. It was served with a lime slice and diced cilantro, onions, and green peppers. In addition, you get a ton of corn tortillas on the side and a nice side of rice. For its price tag, it is a steal. It was fantastic and perfectly hit the spot when it was 30 degrees outside. There is plenty of seating, and they move pretty efficiently. I heard their main tacos as well as their breakfast were very good, so once I can eat normal food, I will definitely come back and give it another go. For now, that soup was exactly what I needed. Food isn't waiting around here....it was a small wait but everything was extraordinarily fresh. They have a cold case full of soft drinks and juices. There was a small container of orange/red sauce and what looks like a avocado Ish sauce. I labeled them both hot and hotter. (LOL-I guess I'm a gringo after all ) I dropped in, in between meal times, but there was definitely a steady amount of customers coming and going as they must do quite a brisk business of takeout also. I noted that you can order online so that's always a big positive for me. People were eating and it's not a huge place so I wasn't comfortable videoing the seating ....needless to say there's about 10 /four tops. I was quite comfortable. You step up to the counter to order. I requested no cilantro and I did not get any. It seems to be good communication between the front desk and the kitchen. I suspect either the sous chef or the cook delivered my plate piping hot to my table! I'm not sure how long this location has been open here, but I'm embarrassed to say that I have driven by many many times on the way to my sons home and not noticed it. I'm so glad I dropped in today and found it. I definitely recommend it and I will be back every time I head out to my sons

They have a very simple interior and menu, and we ordered a few items. The super Tostada, super taco, soft taco and their cinnamon sugar delights. Everything was LOADED. If you ever imagined eating food that looks directly out of a commercial, this place is it. The tacos were bursting at the seams. The Tostada required 2 hands. And it actually all tasted delicious. Like legit good. Our favorite was probably the soft taco flavor wise. It cost less than the super taco and had way more meat. A signature of this place seems to be topping with a ton of cheese, and none of us complained. Their hot sauce is really good too. We wrapped it up with their dessert item, and they were absolutely amazing. Freshly fried chips coated in cinnamon and sugar. Everything was fresh made and tasted like it. If youre looking for a Taco Bell equivalent but better in every way, this place is it. We were super surprised by how good it was.

I eat gluten free and it was awesome to see so many clearly marked gf options. Our waitress gave us a sample of the YOLO margarita when we sat down (coconut margarita), very tasty! I got the verde chicken enchiladas, which were clearly fresh and delicious. Husband got the 512 crispy pork enchiladas and loved them. We were too full to indulge in dessert but know we'll be back again! I could tell this food was high quality and clearly gluten free as sometimes when I eat out I still get stomach pains but here I felt great, even with being stuffed to the max. Highly recommend!

Thinking this was actually going to be a ribeye steak, that's what I ordered. The breading was good, not overly heavy, the gravy was tasty, although very peppery... so far so good right? If this was a ribeye, this was the thinnest, most gristley ribeye in the history of the world. I had to spit out almost half of it because it was full of tough, fatty chunks of gristle!! Very disappointed in this and would never order it again from here! The mashed potatoes were mashed potatoes, but still on par. The steamed vegetables were boring, and plain, but still edible. On the other hand, my dining partner's pork chop was impressive and he ate every bite. He said he would be back again for the pork chop! He liked the demi-glaze, as well as the well seasoned mushrooms on top. The people we encountered were very nice and friendly. We were hoping to find a new restaurant close to home, but it didn't hit the mark with the paper, thin, gristly CFS. Very disappointed.
