    Chicken Katsu curry
    Norm C.

Decent size place, not terribly busy on a Saturday late afternoon. You order at the counter, get your utensils and seat yourself. Because it was not busy they brought our food out to us. Very nice team. First time here, it's not authentic Japanese curry but yes it's a fried chicken patty with sweet vegetable curry that is not spicy. The chicken patty was more on the thin side but not dried up. The house fries and scallion pancake was well done. Came out hot and good flavor. The riceburg was not what I was hoping for and surprised there was a slice of pineapple inside. This place resembles a fast food restaurant. Decent for a quick bite. I'm generally sticker shock these days at ~$50 for rice burger, a curry dish, two sides and two medium drinks. I didn't walk out like I was stuffed and ready for a nap. I would consider coming again for a quick bite.

Bulgogi Steak Rice Burger, House Fries

This was my first time having a rice burger and it was pretty good. I ordered a chicken katsu rice burger, bulgogi steak rice burger, house fries, and salted cream black tea. The rice bun itself did not have much flavor. I did wish the sauce was more evenly distributed and that there was more of it on the chicken katsu. I would have been nice if the chicken was tossed in the sauce. The way it was packaged all the sauce fell to the bottom as well. The bulgogi in the bulgogi rice burger had more flavor on each piece of meat. Both rice burgers were decent, although I do wish there was more sauce on both. The fries were nice and crispy and the flavor was great as well. The seasoning could have been distributed a bit more evenly, but flavor was great! The salted cream black tea was really good! It was a very good price as well. Only $3.90 for a medium (note: boba would cost an additional $1 extra). The service was great and ambiance was good as well. They do have a bathroom. The menu also has vegetarian options!

I would rate this 3.5 stars, but yelp doesn't allow that. Clean place and nice staff. Great choices for vegans. We had the vegan katsu burger, a shiitake rice bowl with added veggies and scallion pancake. The burger was good, but the sauce was too thin and just dripped out and was a mess. The bowl was decent, stingy on the broccoli and daikon and sauce, but heaps of shiitakes. Delicious scallion pancake. Prices are reasonable for what you get and service is quick. Bathroom is clean!

4 star Yelp average is spot on Good food and fair pricing Bulgogi steak was delicious House fries w/curry & seaweed flakes was also delicious I enjoyed the Thai popcorn chicken, though chicken size was uneven and some of them were more "popcorn" than "chicken" Vegetable egg rolls were decent- though probably not homemade All-in-all an authentic slice of Taiwan, smack in the middle of Wellesley

Bulgogi steak rice burger, large house fries, and cute takeout box!

Stopped by on our way home from Natick Mall, and was satisfied w dinner! My partner and I ordered a chicken katsu rice burger, bulgogi steak rice burger, house fries, and Taiwan style popcorn chicken - TASTE: 3/5 - the house fries, seasoned w curry seaweed and sesame powder, were our favorite by far! The pineapple in the chicken katsu burger wasn't as sweet as I'd like, but the spicy mala sauce had great flavor. Both burgers came in a wrapper, so the gochujang sauce at the bottom brought out the bulgogi steak's at the end. Finally, we were hoping for more five spice on the popcorn chicken TEXTURE: 4/5 - the shoestring fries were a perfect crisp. This was our first time trying rice buns, and I was pleased w their thinness and slight crispy edge. Popcorn chicken could've been a tad crunchier! PRICE: 4/5 - prices were reasonable, and the bulgogi steak was the most expensive rice burger option at $11 SERVING SIZE: 4/5 - got the house fries in a large and devoured them quickly! The rice burgers were smaller than I expected, but still satisfying for me. Heads up, they can get messy! SERVICE: 4/5 - it was pretty quiet when we came around 6pm on a Sunday. We got our food quickly in under 10 minutes, amid others' boba takeout orders PARKING: 4/5 - found (free Sunday) metered street parking right out front

The food is good, but I've never had a take out order ready on time. The staff always seems behind or confused. I doubt there was an issue with my online order three times in a row. They also need to organize the space. Where the frozen yogurt machines were supposed to be there are stacks of storage. It's a shame because this place offers a unique menu for this area.

Absolutely delicious!! We had the chicken katzu rice burg and the beef bulglogi bowl and riceburg( sorry if I spelled incorrectly) It was warm when I got home and I drove 20 minutes! The boba tea - popping and tapioca were perfection. We definitely will be back if not tomorrow because my daughter is obsessed with bubble tea!!

the bubble tea at rice burg is underrated! at first, i hesitated on getting bubble, but turns out it was worth it! i got the lychee tea with popping bubbles. it tasted just as good as other bubble tea chains, and had the perfect sweetness. rice burg is perfect for a quick lunch or drink - i was in and out within 5 minutes. street parking is available right in front of the restaurant. next time i definitely want to try out their rice burgers. i'm interested in seeing what the hype is all about! overall rating: 10/10

    Chicken Katsu bowl

The idea of a rice burger is an interesting concept adopted from Asia and I'm glad to have the opportunity to try it without having to travel across the world. I ordered the bulgogi steak rice burger. Overall it's a bit small and I don't think one burger is enough to fill me up, but luckily I ordered chicken katsu on the side. The patty of the burger is made out of crispy fried rice which added a nice crunch. The meat was flavorful and the entire concept worked pretty well. It is a bit messy to eat since it breaks apart towards the end, but using a fork is an easy solution! I like that you can customize and make your own bowl. I especially like the fact that you can add your own sauce so each time I order, I can change up the taste a bit. Overall, I enjoyed the food here and will be back!

Try the fries! Best fries in the area. Thin, crispy perfectly seasoned. Bubble tea is good. Bowls are full of flavor.

Once seated, the waiting staff arrived and they had gluten-free menus which was a huge win. Butterfly nectar and Negroni was beautifully presented and was good. We got an order of rainbow sushi but the soy sauce didn't arrive with it. The sushi (and the wasabi) was so good, I could easily forgo the soy sauce. Good is an understatement, the fish used was really fresh and tasty. Then we ordered some kung pao chicken with peanuts and Singapore mei fun. Both had excellent flavors and we savored our dinner. We had no room for desserts. My only comment is maybe they could leave a pitcher of water on the table.

In fact, ever since the other Chinese spot changed ownership, I entirely switched to eating here whenever I want a quick sit down Chinese meal. The food is good. It comes out pretty fast. It's done pretty well. And the best part, it just doesn't remotely hurt the wallet. Even being a regular, I'm still amused at how the service is so stereotypical Chinese in the way that I'm just another soul coming in to be fed and not remembered or acknowledged. Mind you, I'm here a LOT and am usually the only one sitting there eating while delivery people repeatedly come and go. Anyways, two reasons why I'm unable to give them 5 stars. First, the tap water they serve...tastes like @#$%. I don't know what it is but I've actually started bringing my own water bottle (or just ordered a soda). Two, the steamed rice is inconsistent. Half the time, it's perfect. The other half...is wet and mushy (I want to say a reheat but isn't that just such a faux pax in Chinese cuisine?). Nonetheless, this is one of the few four and less starred places on my list that I will still continue to frequent and recommend to anyone in the area wanting a quick and decent meal for cheap!
