    Large pho
    Dani S.

I was in the area by the Co op so I was planning on having pho there. Come to find out they didn't open till 6. We didn't want to wait an hour so we headed to another pho joint. Unfortunately they were closed so Pho Le it was. They were poppin tonight. Winter and pho is always the perfect combination. Servers were busy handling to go orders and dining customers. I was greeted and was told to pick a table. My server came, dropped off my utensils and menu. I ordered the cha gio today. I wasn't going to make the same mistake as my last visit and order the large bowl. I ordered the medium chicken pho. The cha gio came out hot! They were crispy and flavorful! To be honest, the filling to wrapper ratio was off and they were pretty small. You also got 1 piece of lettuce for your egg rolls. They were decent but not for the price of 7 bucks. My pho looked beautiful. The broth was clean and clear. There were nice pieces of chicken and a good amount of noodles. I just wish the broth was a little hotter. It was hot like it's been sitting on a flame but not pipping how like they boiled it before they poured it into my bowl. Overall, service was good and food was decent. I'm pretty sure I'll be back and have another bowl of pho.

Wow service was fast though we were 3ish in arriving. I loved that the beef Pho came in various sizes and even offered a spicy broth for a slight up charge. Inside was clean throughout and if you want a high quality food offering without going through a tone of pages visit this location on Broadway. Our group of 5 were fed well, no one left hungry. The Thai Ice tea tasty on this warm day. It was my first visit, I will visit again when I'm back in Boise.

If more than you order pho - you don't get your own plate of sprouts or garnishments. They charge you $2 extra even tho they say it is suppose to be free and come with the meal. Also, pho just has meatballs and steak. If you want additional items like tendon you pay extra. My large pho, as pictured, cost me $21 Pho didn't even taste like legit pho across the street. Do not go here. This is not authentic and owners seem more focused on charging for upgrades that should come normally at every other phot restaurant than actually providing an enjoyable dining experience. Avoid at all costs.

I come to pho le frequently at least a couple times a month and everytime I get the best service from the staff and especially Robert! The food is so delicious everytime and I highly recommend it! The vermicelli is one of my favorites but also they turned me onto pho as well it's an extremely tasty menu all around! Thank you pho le!

Food was overall good. would I come again? Probably not. Egg rolls were small and a bit dry. Pho was good but was missing the 5 star "wow" factor. Service & restaurant were great.

They had three or four dairy and gluten free options. I particularly liked the banana nut bread and also got their chocolate-chip banana bread. I ordered an egg salad on a gluten free wrap during one of our visits - excellent. Their lattes were outstanding. I highly recommend the Soup Kettle Grille to anyone close enough to try it out.

Sandwich was soggy and difficult to consume with a lot of the cheese running out of the sandwich and being too overcooked to eat. Didn't actually finish the sandwich and that is a rarity for me. Tomato Soup was very runny, weak and lacked flavor and had an almost microwaved consistency and taste to it. Coffee also tasted off for some reason, almost having an old/stale flavor. Overall the staff were nice but the food left much to be desired.

He was very informative about where to go and places to check out in Boise. I ordered one of the local beers and their flagship meal, the Santa Maria Tri Tip Sandwich. As you can see by looking at the photos, the tri-tip was cooked to perfection. It had tomatoes, poblano, and chimichurri sauce on it to add to the flavors of the tri-tip. The bread consistency was great, not too soggy, and with a great crispy texture. I wish they had spread the tri-tip out more to make sure every bite was being celebrated. I also ordered the mac and cheese as the side per the instructions of the bartender, James. Let me say that was one of the best mac and cheeses that I have ever had. Truly amazing creamy texture and full of rich flavor. Everything melted in your mouth. Definitely worth it. I eventually ended up talking to a fellow bar sitter, and he ended up being the co-owner of the place, TJ. He also filled me in on the places to go and, most definitely, the places to travel to, to experience great beer. He was refreshing to talk to since most people don't have the passion for beer that we both represent. I would highly recommend this place for the staff that is there the solid pub style restaurant that they have created. Super easy and relaxed kinda of place.

I ordered the Mac n Cheese without the breadcrumbs and the hubs ordered it and added bacon. It was creamy and yummy. I ended out taking some of my back to the room. It reheated well, so made for an excellent midnight(ish) snack! The place wasn't too busy when we were there, the bartender was also our waiter. He was polite and helpful. The table/chairs were clean and people looked like locals (which is always comforting when you randomly pick a spot). There's indoor and outdoor seating. I didn't see a lot of parking. I hear it's a busy place on Friday and Saturday evenings. We were pleased with our restaurant choice that afternoon. Thank you for reading my review!

It was pretty good but not like any banh mi I've had at all. No pickled veggies and the sandwich bread was a far cry from a banh mi baguette. Great bread though! I just thought the name was very misleading and it would've been better to just call it a massaman curry sandwich. I really liked the spiced yam slices, but I felt like the peanut butter almost overpowered the yam sometimes. Could've been lighter on the PB. I ordered the combo meal which was supposed to be a 1/2 sandwich plus a side. If the sandwich portion I got was only a half, then the full size must be huge. I kind of suspect I got a full sandwich. I had the beet salad for my side. It was tasty and fresh, and also pretty sizeable. The staff were friendly and enthusiastic. The wait time for food was reasonable given that they seemed busy. The loft seating was nice.

I came here for a late lunch around 2 pm after arriving in Boise. They weren't crowded at this point but business wasn't dead either. My waitress was very friendly. Inside has a lived-in, intimate feel, but it was pretty dark, so much that I wasn't sure they were actually open as I was opening the door. I had the French dip sandwich with a side of tomato basil soup. The sandwich was delicious and tasted homemade in the best way. The "meat" of the sandwich was seitan. I don't THINK it was a perfect meat replica (but I've never had a real French dip), but it was very flavourful. I loved the flavour and the thick cut of their bread, but it didn't have much structure and fell apart easily as I was eating which made the sandwich very messy. The tomato basil soup was a little different. It was slightly creamy but brothy and a little chunky - not a smooth puree. Again, it tasted great and was nice and light, which was a good contrast to the very rich sandwich. It was a little slow, especially considering they weren't that busy. I didn't really mind since I wasn't on a schedule, but this is something to be aware of - don't come here for a quick meal. Not cheap, but worth it for the quality.
