I haven''t been there for a while and got a 25% off one item coupon that was only good for 5 days before it expired. The one item I wanted, sure enough not in stock. I made another 10 mile round trip the last day the coupon was good and still out of stock. About 10 days later, I got another 25% coupon valid for about 5 days before it expired. I went on line the last day my coupon was valid and the Burlington store had shown the item I wanted was back in stock! Made another trip to the store the same day, only to find out, wrong, it was not in stock. 3 trips and 30+ miles of driving and I've come to realize that you can not trust the Harbor Freight web site for accuracy regarding in/out of stock. I contacted customer service online and they told me to ignore the stock status on the web page because it's often incorrect. The rep also suggested that I just use my 25% off one item coupon for something else instead. Righto! Suffice to say, why then show in or out of stock status on the web page at all and that was my last reply to online customer service. So 5 stars for the Burlington store and it's great employees and 3 stars for a really lousy system where there's an invitation to a customer to come back and buy at at 25% discount when that item is out of stock on an extended basis. =4 Stars average over-all. Home Depot has an equivalent product at a higher price, but, they are in stock with it routinely plus I get a standard Contractor discount there as well. Even the best deal is no deal at all, if the item isn't available to purchase.

I recently called this store to see if they had a saw in stock. I was told there were two, which…read moremeant only one was available. I realized this is because one is used as a display in the store. I explained I would be traveling to the store from about an hour away and I hoped the saw was still there. Once I got to the store I checked and found the displayed saw but no others. I asked at the front of the store and I was told they had two on order and they would be arriving the next day. I told the two employees I had purposely called their store to make sure the item was in stock and I was told it was there so I traveled there just to get the saw. I really needed the saw and was irritated and told the employees thanks for nothing. I called the store employee who had told me the saw was in stock a moron and I walked out. One employee, a male, followed me outside and said something about returning to the store but I was unable to hear him and told him to do unto himself. I left the store, went to HD and bought their competitors saw. I am all done with the rudeness and terrible employees at Harbor Freight. I have unsubscribed emails and will no longer use their products.

I live 3 miles from the store so I figured getting something delivered from here would be easier than trying to arrange something with a business farther away. The delivery policy, although possibly well-designed for Lowe's, blows. I have to wait two weeks for delivery despite getting a call from the store a few days after purchase informing me that my items arrived. To deliver my items 3 miles away, Lowe's can only give me a day they intend to do so. On that day, someone will call me and give me a 3-hour window of time when they will come. Since I work, I can't set aside a day to sit around and wait for a call only to sit around and wait for some guys to show up. Again, I am 3 miles away. If you can't do better than that with your delivery schedule then I see no reason to make large purchases from Lowe's. P.S. I discovered that I need a power cord for the dryer that I purchased (by the way, I am still waiting for the complicated delivery formula to make it my turn) and went to Lowe's to buy it. I figured I should get it at the store where I purchased the dryer. It's lame that the appliance does not come with its own source of power but one can hardly blame Lowe's for that. I stood in the appliance section for 20 minutes waiting for help. I then circulated the other departments and could not find a soul to help me. This was at 4:00 and the store was fairly empty. At 4:40 when I left empty-handed, nobody had surfaced to help me.

I went all winter and spring with windows that were installed and not properly sealed or finished. Two doors they drilled holes through incorrectly, and many other issues. They contract with a company called integrity first that does the installations. Between calling the Lowe's installation support 800 number and the integrity first 800 number to try and resolve the issue and get the job finished, Ive spent countless hours on the phone explaining what's going on to different people in different parts of the country who don't care and say they'll call back, but they never do. It's a mess. The worst experience. I spent so much money on this job and my house is in worse shape then before due to water leaking in from the half done install. Don't support this company!

Our pellets arrived Saturday when both my husband and I were away from the house. My husband left a note on where to drop the 3 tons of pellets we had ordered. We were hoping they could get them around to our double doors leading to our basement to make moving the pellets easier on us. Not only did they get them to the back doors they got them so close that we just had to open the doors and move the pellets, but the delivery driver was respectful of our lawn and not to tear it up.
