Today 7/10/26, they had one in stock and they'd sent me a 25% off one item coupon earlier this week, because "they wanted me back". So I go up to the cashier and he tells me he has one, but, replies, "this is going to get complicated". I responded, "what is the complication here?" It turns out they will refuse any refund because I am taking this home in a full sized SUV and any damage to it would be considered my fault, period. I see the store manager coming in from outside and get his attention. I ask him, with yet another cashier stating the same policy, how can I know if there is any damage already until I unbox it, ...the cashier hasn't the foggiest idea how to answer and the manager is squirming too. I tell them both, I won't buy anything with "no return" allowed. I tell the store manager I've got a large SUV with a thick dog pad in back. I mention "I suppose you need to inspect my vehicle to see if it meets store approval"? He says yes. He goes out to the parking area and looks in back of my large SUV and say ok, should be fine. So I ask again, will they honor a normal return policy. He stumbles again and says it should be ok, ...why don't you go back in and pay for it. At this point I am feeling like there is zero trust here for a customer and I apparently might be guilty in advance of damaging my purchase. I'd had enough and left there. I refuse to shop there again. The entire staff has an attitude that customers can't be trusted. Home Depot is 180 degrees to Harbor Freight for customer appreciation. All of the employees there are awesome and I shop there quite often. I will be buying a Husky Brand of the 48 inch rolling toolbox at Home Depot. It will be about $125 more than the Harbor Freight YUKON version, but, Home Depot does not treat you like a threat. They appreciate you and are so good at customer assistance. 1 star here for the Burlington Harbor Freight Store. Someone higher in the hierarchy over first line managers have instituted policies that will loose customers and I am certain I am not the only one. If Harbor Freight wishes to reply here, go for it, but, I am doubting there will be any response, given how poorly I was treated and based on what their policies are. Granted, I'm certain the Vermont Attorney General's office would back up any customer who purchased something and got into the mess that I gladly have avoided!

I recently called this store to see if they had a saw in stock. I was told there were two, which…read moremeant only one was available. I realized this is because one is used as a display in the store. I explained I would be traveling to the store from about an hour away and I hoped the saw was still there. Once I got to the store I checked and found the displayed saw but no others. I asked at the front of the store and I was told they had two on order and they would be arriving the next day. I told the two employees I had purposely called their store to make sure the item was in stock and I was told it was there so I traveled there just to get the saw. I really needed the saw and was irritated and told the employees thanks for nothing. I called the store employee who had told me the saw was in stock a moron and I walked out. One employee, a male, followed me outside and said something about returning to the store but I was unable to hear him and told him to do unto himself. I left the store, went to HD and bought their competitors saw. I am all done with the rudeness and terrible employees at Harbor Freight. I have unsubscribed emails and will no longer use their products.

Shady company with Shady business practices. This has been a nightmare that won't end. I hope Yelp did not give anymore than one star…read more my last two refrigerators I purchased here we're not cheap. They were two to $3000 apiece and they've not lasted anymore than a year when I go to have the other refrigerator removed by the people who are delivering this refrigerator the delivery people refused to take it away. I was told that if I called got junk, they would reimburse it , it's been since July. And I'm not allowed to talk to the management staff here now simply because I reported them to the attorney generals office for fraud since I have had to be here so many times I'm still not been paid back for this, I have been in the store now. They have not done it STILL. The fact that they won't even hold up their end of the agreement. (we were told at every step we would be paid back for one 800 got junk now they're saying we think we should be paid back and they're saying that they didn't say we would be paid) this is exploitative. I can't go elsewhere because when they're appliances fail, they send you a gift card to Lowe's. I spoke to the corporate office many times each time not only was I told we would be paid back in an overnight check. I also would receive 40 and $50 gift certificates for my inconvenience. My inconvenience has yet to end. It's now October 5th this incident was in July. I have been there so many times this is insane and I am hell hostage by them. I can't go somewhere else because they sell me a useless appliance and then they give me a gift card to pay me back so I'm stuck.

Our pellets arrived Saturday when both my husband and I were away from the house. My husband left a note on where to drop the 3 tons of pellets we had ordered. We were hoping they could get them around to our double doors leading to our basement to make moving the pellets easier on us. Not only did they get them to the back doors they got them so close that we just had to open the doors and move the pellets, but the delivery driver was respectful of our lawn and not to tear it up. We live in Underhill on a hill and when I arrived home was over joyed with the work. We will definitely be returning customers to Curtis Lumbar! Great customer service!
