First time we went there was dinner time on a Monday. Place was packed and were told it'll be 20mts for a party of 7, and that's no way. Every table has no food, and people are not even eating yet. Waited for 40 mts and ended up leaving. Tried again the next day early dinner and got the food to go. Foods are good. Pad Thai is pretty authentic. Pad See Ew is tasty. Prices are a tad up there. We waited 1.5 hours for a party of 8 on a Saturday night, and up to an additional 1 hour for our food to arrive. That being said, when it did arrive, the food was solid (though I'm unsure if my judgment was swayed by the amount of time that elapsed and my likewise growing hunger levels). Each dish was around $18-$20 (moderately priced compared to the Bay Area) and had decent portions. The pad kee mao (level 1 spicy) was decently flavored and had a variety of topics. You can choose to go up to level 5 in terms of spiciness levels, and add additional chilis with provided extra spice on the table. The beef noodle soup was the dish that took the longest by far. Some people waited over an hour on top of their wait time when they placed their order. Be sure to ask for them to check on your order. There isn't really an order to things, It seems like so ask for a seat if it's busy and you weren't greeted. You have all the Thai staples, some street food, and more. They give out spring rolls for 5 star reviews, so the rating is likely very inflated!! Was there on a Saturday night during ski season, and they told us a 30min wait and we waited for over an hour. We had a party of eight, but we split into 4s and still waited for an extremely long time. Expect a long wait during ski season. A bunch of appetizers and items on the menu were sold out. After we got seated, it was extremely difficult to flag down a waiter to take our order. They took our order eventually, but only served us water ONCE WE ASKED after 30min of sitting down. The service was extremely poor, they definitely need more waiters. Food was decent, but definitely not worth the long wait or the poor service. I didn't have a high expectation on getting such delicious Thai foods likes what Rice Thai Eatery has to offers in South Lake Tahoe - a very touristy area, but I was wrong. First of all, this restaurant is beautiful, not too spacious but the atmosphere were so bright, clean, and cozy with neutral tone furniture. I came during lunch time and got seated immediately, my waitress were lovely, she provided great service during my visit very friendly and attentive. I was surprised with the variety of items that they have on their menu from savory to sweet. I ended up order Thai Tea, Chicken Satay, Pad Thai with Beef, and Duck Noodle Soup for 2 people and we have plenty of leftover to bring back home. Thai Tea was fragrant with the right sweetness level. Chicken Satay were yummy, i love both the peanut sauce and the pickled cucumber and onion that goes together with it. For Pad Thai I'm honestly would prefer the eggs not scrambled but it just my personal preference, not the best Pad Thai I ever had but the flavors were completed with that tangy, sweet, and a little bit of spicy kick, I enjoyed it. Duck Noodle Soup on another hand was amazing, it definitely one of best duck item I have had in the year of 2025, the meat was tender, broth were flavorful, I should have switched to egg noodles but rice noodle was alright too, with Level 2 of spiciness, it does have a little bit of a kick but I do like it. We had the Tom Kha, the red curry, dumplings and some noodle dish i forget the name but it was VG13 on the menu. The food came out fast despite how busy it was. It was delicious and fresh. My only gripe was the noise, there were two families with littles and they were so loud i could barely hear myself think. If you plan to visit and its busy, sit outside if noise bothers you. Not only were the soups perfect for a snowy winter day, but omg this is probably by far the best Thai food I've had! The meat in all our dishes were somehow so perfectly tender, and all the soup broths had different bases and tasted very authentic. The food was so good we ordered extra to go eat later in the day!
