Went to Rice this morning for a new set of tires. John was friendly and took care of everything for me. Was quoted $720 for a set of 4 which I already found to be reasonable, but John and his team were kind enough to get me out the door for less than $690 for the whole service. Waited in their parking lot for them to open, had a significant leak in rear tire. Was told they didn't have time to help me and aent me out the door with my son. Had to limp my truck to Eavers tire, they were eager to help me. I have used Rice Tire often but my business will be staying with Eavers for now on. read more

Rice Tire in Verona: most expensive oil change ever. I went in for a simple oil change, when my truck was done, I went to drive it and it ran horrible. I told them and they looked at it and said I probably had a bad cylinder. It was running perfect when I dropped it off. Came to find out, they had broken a spark plug wire while replacing the oil cap...I had to replace the whole set at $144 that plus the oil change was outrageous. I emailed them and never got a response. None of our many vehicles will EVER darken Rice Tires again. They could have at least offered to pay for the repairs for the damage they did! read more

I called the Verona location asking about a particular tire. Terry answered the phone and immediately gave me a price that was $400.00 over the price I had gotten from the quoting tool on the Rice website. When I told him that he said "oh you used that" he then asked me what the product code for the tire was. I gave him the code and he found the correct tire. Then he asked what vehicle I had and I gave him the information and he asked if I had h or v tires. I had no idea and told him hat and his reply was "well I can't sell you tires then" I didn't know what to say there was no explanation just silence. So I said Let me go look again nothing but silence. I actually asked if he was still there. So I went and looked and came back and gave him the information and he said those are $10 more per tire. It was like he won a victory over the customer who actually got a quote on line which pissed him off. Next he proceeded to tell me that he didn't have the tire he would have to order it in. I asked when it would be in and he said the next day. So I then asked if I could make an appointment for the day after the tires got there and he said he didn't do that the only thing he could do was call me when the tires were in. So today I got a call from him with the message that I had to play 10 times to understand what was said "This is Terry at Rice your tires are in" click . Sorry this is so long but this is the absolute worst service I have gotten in the valley for years. I found another distributor who was great to talk to set an appointment the first call (yes he had to order the tires too) and was less expensive than Rice and before he let me go he said wait a minute the tire manufacturer has a promotion on those I believe. He looked it up and lo and behold there was a $100 rebate. There was no mention of this by Rice. All that I got was rude people who seemed to be bothered by my call. Won't make that mistake again. read more
