I've finally turned my husband on to dim sum and that's what he requested for his Father's Day dinner. While this isn't the best dim sum in town it is still tasty. We shared baked bbq buns, an egg roll, a shrimp spring roll, steamed shrimp dumplings, krab rangoons, and scallion pancakes. Everything was tasty although the bbq buns were a little dry and the scallion pancake was quite greasy. We ordered for takeout so I can't comment on the service or ambiance. There should be an option for negative stars. We ordered two sweet and sour chicken orders and chicken with green beans. Literally not a single thing was edible. When I opened the bag, I thought they had given us pork rinds instead of chicken. I've never ever in my life seen chicken as disgusting as what they decided was ok to serve to a customer. I did order the Sushi platter only to be told 20 mins it was labeled wrong and was 2/3 as many pieces as advertised. We chose to dine here on Christmas Day. My friend suggested it, so I called and they said they were open til 9pm and do not take reservations. We all decided to meet at 7pm. Upon our arrival, the hostess informed us they weren't seating any more parties because they were too busy and people were complaining. We were disappointed after having drove twenty minutes to get there. Then a nice woman who worked there walked by and said not to worry, and she'd find a place for us. We were seated, and our waiter brought waters and menus to us promptly. We looked over the menu and ordered quickly so as not to delay them. We all got the $3.95 meal add-on of soup with egg roll. The soups came out and we all enjoyed, followed by the egg rolls, which were cold and filled with not much of anything. Not impressed with the egg rolls, we waited patiently for our entrees. Considering they were busy, we were served in a reasonable timeframe. We all ate our non-remarkable meals and vowed to do better research for next year's Christmas Day Chinese dinner, as this place is not one we'd be coming back to. read more

i ordered of uber eats, so i can not comment on the service or ambiance of the restaurant, but the food was delicious overall. a bit on service, i loved how they packaged everything for delivery, the cardboard box made it easy to transport and eat out of! as for the food, my favorite thing was the pork lo mein and the egg roll. the pork lo mein was loaded with huge hunks of roast pork, which i appreciate. and the egg roll! perfectly fried, and the wrapper was so good. i also got the beef and broccoli combo which came with pork fried rice. both were good, nothing spectacular. i enjoyed them but might order something different next time. one thing i wont get again is the crab rangoon. they weren't fried enough and it made them almost chewy? and the sauce had an odd flavor that i can't put my hand on. the filling was also flavorless. seemed like pure cream cheese and no flavoring aspects. overall, i'll be ordering again when i need a chinese takeout fix!! affordable and good. i ate for three days!! read more

We love to order the honey garlic chicken, general xio, all of the dim sum - favorites are sesame ball and steamed bbq pork bao. The first thing that I want to say is that Pink Buddha used to be an award-winning restaurant in Fort Lauderdale. I asked the owner why they moved to a more residential area and they said so that they can take a break and enjoy a slower paced environment. For me although there are lots of other Chinese restaurants around this is one of my favorites. We absolutely love their orange tofu, salt and pepper eggplant, and many other vegan and vegetarian options. When friends and family members visit south Broward and want something decently priced and tasty without all the frills we send them to this location. I guess I will say it is a traditional American Chinese place with all of the needed flavors. Check them out! read more

Ordered takeout, from the phone call to getting to the store it was maybe 5 minutes and the food was ready when I got there. So very quick service, though this was a Thursday night and no one was in the store so maybe other days it's slower. That was the only outstanding part of this place. I ordered the special fried rice and for the first time in my life I've had bland Chinese food. Even in the cheapest Chinese buffets I've been to have had more flavor. I am writing this review after one meal and an additional order of fried rice. I like to make my first order in any place something I am familiar with so I have a base to judge by. Pink Buddha did not disappoint. Veggies and sauce done right. No zucchini or carrots in sight (Zucchini or carrots in Chinese food? I don't get it!) The fried rice was also done right. This is the only place I will accept carrots as long as the rice itself is prepared properly, It was. The egg rolls were rather small but with the soup it was more than enough food. Wontons were also tasty. I did have enough food left over for lunch as the dinner special was more than enough for a meal. The food was all fresh and the staff was very attentive. I felt so honored being here and just felt spoiled. It was more like hot and sour broth with some tofu and topped with scalions . Next came the egg roll, they were really good. After that I got a side of baby octopus, its served cold, "icy cold", it would have been awesome it were served hot. For dinner I had four treadures, its chicken, pork, beef and shrimp with vegetables in a spicy brown sauce. It comes with a side of fried rice if you get it as a combo meal. Get the white rice, the fried that comes with it is awful. My wife got a vegetable soup in vegetable broth. It was loaded with vegetables and she said it was very good. Pink Buddha is now my official go to for delicious Chinese food. I had a craving for Chinese food for a few days. Calling around the area I discovered that no one was answering their phone. They were all closed or "on vacation". Finally I discovered Pink Budda in a foodie group in which I am a member. They could have refused to have lunch specials during the COVID-19 crisis but they still honored the specials. They could have made things more difficult but they were such a pleasure to order with. My food was ready in 10 minutes as promised. The woman at the front was so nice and friendly. I ordered 2 lunch specials: General Tsao chicken with pork fried rice and wonton soup, Mongolian beef with white rice and soda. Pink Buddha has been around for as long as I can remember...,and it looks that way. It has been a while sine we have had food from this neighborhood Chinese joint. When my boys were small we are here or got delivery often. The place looks kind of worn and a tad dirty. It really needs some freshening up (a paint job is in order) and a good spring cleaning. I think in general, the Chinese food in South Florida is terrible. When compared to other neighborhood. South Florida Chinese restaurants the food at Pink Buddha is not bad. Items we ordered include: Mixed Soup Special Wonton Soup Beef Stick Ribs Beef & Broccoli Special Wor Bar Mu Shu Vegetable My kids really enjoyed the food. I found it acceptable. Coming to this place is always a nice treat compared to just take out Chinese, and my mom loves it. So it's a nice place to do a girls day or family meal. The few times I've been here has been for lunch during the week and there hasn't ever been a wait or a big crowd. The service is always great and fast, we don't have to wait too long to order and the staff is always friendly and helpful. I typically order the same thing every time I come which is the chicken lo mein dinner combo (I'm a huge fan of having leftover Chinese for the next day). But my parents usually order dim sum, and man good dim sum is hard to find especially out in west broward, but this place delivers. I have to stay away from shellfish so I avoid any of the options with shrimp. But the beef shumai is delicious, and my parents love the shrimp toast. Overall for the price the portions are very generous and the food is quality. We heard they had dim sum, so we decided to check it out on a Saturday afternoon. There was not one item out of the five different dim sum options we chose that was tasteful. The scallion pancakes were shining with oil and tasted like rubber. (Returned) The sticky rice lacked any flavor what so ever. (Returned) The Sui Mei wasn't tasty either. Hubby actually ate one out of the three. Pan-fried dumpling texture was none like I ever experienced before. (Not in a good way) Bottom line. I would not recommend Pink Buddha at all! We've been going here for years. It is a great local Chinese restaurant. Their takeout is consistently good. They are not gourmet or exotic. They are the go to place for "We want dim sum, BBQ Pork Buns, good noodles, hot soup, and friendly service" place. I see some 2 star reviews and etc but they miss the mark. This place is great. The owner remembers you. Asks about your family. Serves you large portions at a fair price. The food is made to order. You have an allergy, they got your back. Special requests are not a problem. The only Chinese restaurant open at 9:45pm in my neighborhood was Pink Buddha. I had not been there in years. Ada, the woman at the door/register greeted me with a big happy smile and attitude to match. I ordered Beef and Broccoli (Chinese Staple), Mixed Soup, and Pork Lo-main. The food could not have been any better or fresher. The order came out quickly and hot, just the way I like it. All the people that worked there were sooo friendly as well. I am excited about going back and dining in at the restaurant the next time we are in the mood for great American Style Chinese food. An extraordinary experience! read more
