**Update** I have added a photo of the truck that was purchased the following day at a more upfront, ethical dealership, and it was actually cheaper with more amenities including the luxury, towing and off-road package from a dealer that's not going to scam you an additional 5,000 over MSRP. Richard Lucas states upon arrival they are going to inflate the price, but this is not written on the window sticker which is illegal. Bait & switch advertising at its finest. From making appointments to completing sales, all the members in the dealership team are super friendly and helpful. The sales consultant Mr. Munoz is extremely knowledgeable and actually working on my behalf to get me all the possible rebates and discount that I was not aware of. His knowledge on their products impressed me greatly as I already tried to do a lot of research before I walked into the dealership (expecting blood bath and walking away without a deal). They abide by their pledge of no hidden fee and this is what a perfect shopping experience should be. I did walk away from a Ford dealership a couple months ago because they did not honor agreed upon price (advance order w/ deposit) and it was pulling teeth to get the deposit back. I called the service department to get a quote for front brakes and rotors. They quoted me 414.00 without tax. I go in this morning now they tell me 747.00 I asked what changed. They advised me they did not know what type of vehicle I had. Whenever I call, they always know my name and my vehicle so they know who I am. The service manager looked up my vehicle and advised that we were running a special. That was on Pads and rotors, but now, when I show up, they advise they did not know what type of vehicle I had. HOW CAN THIS BE IT'S EITHER INCOPITANCE OR SOMEONE NEEDS TO BE RETRAINED. So now I demand to speak with the top Brass Service Manger, and I advise that something is not right. I advised that this seems very slipper about what's going on. I advise you what i had on the phone as far as the vehicle. Now you change pricing. I advised unacceptably, and then I advised that I would go on social media to advise how you'rer treating me. "¹He became offensive and said now your threatening me!" I have never been treated in such a manner from a higher up. This was totally out of line disrespectful, at the least. 1I gave them all my business, and now you talk down to me. They have forever lost my business, and if I were his boss, he would be fired. As American, we have choices we're to do business, and if someone treats you bad, you bring your business elsewhere. Extremely dissatisfied with richard lucas chevy dealership. I bought a new car from them in December and find out in June that there's a hole in my condenser and i get no air conditioning. The condensers have been on back on back order almost a month and i was told 5 other people are waiting for the same thing. I am extremely dissatisfied that i bought a New Car that obviously has a manufacturing defect that no one seems in a hurry to fix. It's beginning to seem like once they get your money they don't care about your problems. I mean, it's not their commute in a hot muggy car. They performed my oil change, tire rotation & windshield wiper replacement quickly. Their free refreshments comprised of bagels, a coffee/hot chocolate machine & water, with vending machines being available for a reasonable price ($1-$1.25 per item). However, the WiFi they advertised did not connect to my computer (inconvenient since I took the appointment because they offered WiFi) and their in-house network only had 2 bars. They also ineptly left the keys to someone else's car in my cupholder, so I had to drive 10 minutes each way to drop them off. I won't be going back because I wouldn't want my keys to get left in someone else's car and have to wait on that person for a couple of hours to return them to get my car (which had to be done for me since my daughter had a doctor appointment). read more

I brought my brand new truck in for it's first oil change on June 26th 2018 and I had the unfortunate luck their mechanic hitting his lift when pulling my truck out of his bay. I get a phone call saying your truck has been damaged and at this moment it was nothing but attitude from the service provider. She was pressuring me that the truck needed to be sent as soon as possible to our auto body and I said not until I see the damage myself. When I arrived to the dealership to see the damage, I was greeted hostility by the service manager Harry. He kept calling me a nit picky truck owner and I had no trust in anyone. I just spent 42k on my first new vehicle purchase in my life and I was extremely proud to be an owner of my Silverado. At the end of the day, the truck was fixed however had to be brought back to be fully repaired correctly... When I walked into the service department, the manager Harry, would not even speak to me. If anyone reads this review, please do not take your new vehicle or purchase a new vehicle at this dealership. If management is rude and arrogant to customers so will their employees as the case here. I hope the upper management at this dealership reads this review to take corrective action with how this situation was handled. read more

Service Dept. Has gone down hill. About a year and half ago I had a major service done, about $685. A few months after I received a recall notice for the same issue, and was told to submit form for a refund from dealer. Months went by and several inquiries latter I finally reached corp. office. I was told info was not sent in from dealer. I then confronted service dept. on the matter and was told the service manager was new and he would look into. After several more follow ups, he said he will take care of. A few weeks later I receive a check directly from Richard Lucas in the amount of $138?? Really what happened to the rest? After over a year dealing with this I'm done!! I am currently on a wait list for 7 on your side to make this hit the news. Scheduled a service appointment last week online in one of their only open slots it would let me click, only to be called back the day prior to tell me that slot is now not available? Why have that option if you can not honor it? I like usually wait awhile for resolution, but this was the last straw to post this review. read more

I was contacted immediately after submitting a request through their website and was anxious to get the process started. This dealership has some pretty poor/unethical sales people and practices. For instance, I was told the dealership would honor a national lease offer on a car at specific prices. After driving over and taking off work, they attempted to raise the price by about 50% for ridiculous "fees". In order to understand this rating I encourage everyone to read in its entirety. I previously gave this dealer high marks and was pleased overall. After reading my most recent commentary scroll down to see how things can and do change in just a few days. Lucas was unable to order the car I wanted. That didn't bother me. I had a friend looking for a similar vehicle so I tried putting him in touch with them. I called Lucas twice and left messages for George to thank him for his time the prior week. George never returned my call after two days. Odd. I called a third time and spoke with Rocco explaining I wanted to say thanks for the effort and to tell him about my referral. He said he was going to get in touch with my friend. A whole day passed. My friend said he called the dealer four times and left messages. They told him George was busy. Too busy to call a customer who wanted to say thanks and too busy to call a customer who wants to buy a new car? Odd. Rocco called me Tuesday morning after I had already told him I found a car elsewhere. He asked me "do you want this car or what?" Is anyone even listening to me? I politely declined and said my friend still is waiting to hear from him. He said he didn't get a chance to talk to George and he would call him. My friend said he was supposed to hear from someone at Lucas by 1:00 PM. By 1:30 he gave up. No response from the dealer from what I was told. I gave him another contact and my friend ordered his car within an hour or two. Sorry Lucas. I guess you're all too busy to talk to customers who pay you for products they wish to buy. The moral of the story is simple. Listen to your customers. You are in business to serve them not yourself. Be responsive to customers inquiries. A simple return phone call now cost you a vehicle sale. Stop dodging people. You can't be busy all day or in a meeting or some other BS to the point where you forget about your customer. If you forget us we will forget you as well. Lastly meet your commitments. Don't make empty promises and give people false hope. All I wanted to do was order a car. All my friend wanted was to order a car. I just don't understand what went wrong between last week and today. If you say you will call by 1:00 PM pick up the phone and do it. Don't try. Just do! My opinion has totally changed. I want George Lucas to call me and tell me what part of this is incorrect. I know what it feels like to be ignored. Until I hear from him my opinion remains. Lucas Chevrolet doesn't know how to treat a customer. Previously on 2/10/17 I wanted to order a 2017 Camaro ZL1. After speaking with Rocco he introduced me to the sales manager George. He was very personable and I felt confident he was being honest. He shared with me some information about the ordering process and we were able to submit a preliminary order. Through no fault of theirs GM held my order status at 1100 which meant my choice of color and options was not accepted even though the selections I made are available. Over the next two days I visited the dealership three times. Rocco attempted to get me some answers but ultimately couldn't come through. The deal fell through and we were not able to order the car. It's a special order and would have to wait until next month when ordering for this vehicle opens again. I recommend Lucas and George especially. I have already contacted a friend who is looking to purchase this car in a different color and told him to contact George. He is out on LI and he should be reaching out in a day or two. I believe in referring people when possible. Though I was unable to purchase the car through them I am not upset. My only critique is that this was a challenging sale and I feel they might have given up too quickly when I was willing to make a purchase. Not every sale is going to be easy. This was a tough one. I purchased my vehicle at another Chevrolet dealership which has since changed hands and become a pain to deal with. But I wanted to stick with actual GM service. So I decided to give Richard Lucas' Service Department a shot several weeks ago. I was really happy with how it all worked out. The whole staff, from the tech, to the service writer, to the cashier was really kind and polite. They all had a great sense of humor. I originally went for an oil change, but ended up getting my front brakes done cause the technician showed me what shape they were really in. He actually brought me out to my vehicle on the lift and showed me their condition. Talk about honesty and transparency! Labor rates are what you'd expect from any major manufacturer's dealership, but it was worth it knowing the work was great. They even took the time to drive me home since my car was going to be a while. The valet who drove me was a really great young man who had just been discharged from the Army. A big plus that they hire Veterans. The work was done right, it was done in a timely manner, and they even helped me out on the cost. Needless to say, I have a new shop. I'm sold. And, chances are, I'll probably even consider buying my next vehicle from them. read more

I am not sure where to start and identifying how disappointed I am with this dealership. I had my car in there for over a week and did not hear anything from the service advisor regarding updates or status. When I finally got an answer they told me that after this being the fourth time bringing it back for same issue there is nothing wrong with my vehicle. The unprofessionalism is very sad and mostly because being a service advisor myself you talk to the customer and resolve their issue. My truck was filthy and covered in thick leaves when I left the Dealership and had to take it to my own car wash. The final thought I would like to express is my service advisor Dave took out my email address so I could not be getting a survey from GM.
