Dr Singh was upfront and explained his diagnosis, lab results, Xray and the urgency to perform Molly's Life-saving surgery. He spent time to inform of us post op care. He is a very caring vet. Professionalism -- Every team member was knowledgeable and handled my inquiries with patience and clarity, ensuring I felt informed throughout the process. Natalie in the front desk was astounding handling our emergency check -in process. She has the biggest smile. Clean Environment -- The hospital maintained a clean and welcoming atmosphere-(they have water, coffee and snack station) which reassured me about my pet's safety and health. Affordability-Their prices are very reasonable and they don't suggest any unnecessary tests if not needed. I've also had an okay experience with the vet. I'm not exactly sure what happened tonight, but just pure disorganization for sure. I first came here last Monday. My dog had some sort of large wound and raised bump on his paw. It wouldn't go away. My schedule is pretty inflexible so it's hard to find a vet that sees pets after normal business hours and doesn't charge an emergency fee. I stumbled upon HQPC on Yelp and it had great reviews. I called and was able to get a same day appointment. I spoke to Jay at that time and she was lovely. I came in at my appointment time, was seen right away and was helped by Angel and another vet tech or employee. I didn't get her name but she has tattoos. Both her and Angel were so kind and lovely. Dr. Amini was really helpful too! I left ready to leave a 5 star review, but just didn't have the time to. I came back today (Monday) as my pup wasn't really improving. I was happy to come back since I had such a great experience last week. I made a same day appointment at 7:45pm. I arrived 5 minutes late (oops), though that didn't even matter. I waited about 25 min in the waiting room. Once we got checked in, I waited another 25 minutes in the medical room. Dr. Amini came in for approximately 3 minutes, said he wanted to do a cytology and a vet tech will be in to help me. Great! Someone came in to help me sign the forms for the $500 bill. And then I waited and waited for another 25 minutes. Theres also some time unaccounted for so I honestly probably underestimated the time too. But I was here about 1.5 hours, if not more. Needless to say, I left. Michelle, who helped me out in the front to check out was very kind and understanding. She explained that Dr. Amini was running behind due to a surgery. I totally understand and please please triage and put more urgent pets before mine! But there was no communication of this at all. Just waiting and waiting. Dr. Amini was literally only in the room with us for 3 minutes. Michelle said she wouldn't charge me, which was nice. But I wasted almost 2 hours and nothing was done with my pup. I'm overall, just really disappointed with my experience.

Recognizing that time was of the essence, Dr. Kim acted quickly and recommended admitting Thurston for several days of IV antibiotics and other supportive treatments. After his hospitalization, Dr. Kim developed a comprehensive treatment plan and instructed me to return with Thurston for a follow-up visit five days later. His chest X-rays showed significant improvement compared to those taken just five days earlier. Pneumonia requires close monitoring and multiple follow-up visits during recovery. Throughout the process, Dr. Kim has been clear, thorough, and reassuring about the next steps. Thurston is doing much better. I am extremely grateful to Dr. Kim and her kind, compassionate staff for helping my dog--and me--through such a stressful and frightening time.

I walked in with my dog alive, alert, and walking normally. Less than an hour after leaving this hospital, my dog was dead. I am sharing this because other pet owners, especially owners of French Bulldogs and other brachycephalic dogs, deserve to know what happened and ask questions. According to Kian's medical records, we arrived around 5:47 PM. He weighed 28.4 lbs, his temperature was 100.3°F, and he was documented as BAR (bright, alert and responsive). His heart and lungs were documented as normal. His records also specifically noted BOAS (Brachycephalic Obstructive Airway Syndrome), stenotic nares, and an elongated soft palate. Kian had previously had a similar skin infection near his tail treated without sedation, so I never imagined a visit for a neck sore would end this way. At 6:17 PM, Kian was given Zenalpha (dexmedetomidine) IM for sedation. His neck was shaved and cleaned, and he received Polyflex (antibiotic) and Kenalog (steroid) injections. At approximately 6:30 PM, he was given atipamezole to reverse the sedation. His records list a temperature of 101.2°F, pulse 112, respiratory rate 36, and BAR. Approximately EIGHT MINUTES later, around 6:38 PM, Kian was released to me wearing an Elizabethan collar/cone. I was told he had done well and might be sleepy. The moment we got into the car, I knew something was wrong. This was not my normal Kian. He appeared scared, extremely restless and uncomfortable, repeatedly fighting the cone and unable to settle. Only about SIX MINUTES after leaving the hospital, around 6:44 PM, Kian suddenly had diarrhea. I got him out of the car. He then vomited green fluid and collapsed. Everything happened incredibly fast. We immediately rushed him to ACCESS Emergency Hospital. He was still warm when we arrived. They intubated him, performed CPR and advanced life-support measures, but they could not bring him back. Kian died after walking into this hospital less than an hour earlier for a skin infection. One of my biggest concerns is how quickly he was discharged after receiving reversal medication, particularly because he was a French Bulldog with BOAS documented in his medical record. I have also been unable to find documentation of additional post-reversal vital signs after the 6:30 PM set or a recovery monitoring sheet showing things such as oxygen saturation or blood pressure before he was released. I am also concerned about the cone. A subsequent veterinary note discussed the possibility that an Elizabethan collar could have increased respiratory effort in a dog with BOAS and potentially contributed to upper-airway obstruction and cardiopulmonary collapse. This is NOT a confirmed cause of Kian's death. Without definitive testing, we may never know exactly what happened, but it is one of the possibilities raised afterward. I still have serious questions: Why was sedation necessary for this procedure when his BOAS was documented? Was I adequately informed of the additional sedation risks associated with his airway disease? Why was he discharged approximately eight minutes after reversal? What recovery monitoring was performed before discharge? Why was he sent home wearing a cone so soon after sedation despite his documented airway issues? Could the medications, airway disease, cone, short recovery period, or a combination of factors have contributed to his collapse? I understand complications can happen in veterinary medicine, and I am not claiming to know the exact medical cause of Kian's death. What I DO know is that I brought my beloved dog in alive, responsive and walking normally for treatment of a skin infection. He was sedated, reversed, treated and released. Within minutes of leaving, he developed diarrhea, vomited, collapsed and died. Kian wasn't "just a dog." He was my family and my emotional support for six years. He was there through the deaths of both my parents, the births of my two daughters, and the hardest moments of my life. When I cried, Kian came running and climbed into my lap. He followed me everywhere. My daughters lost their dog, and I lost my best friend. I am sharing Kian's story so other owners know to ask detailed questions about sedation, airway risks, recovery monitoring, reversal medications and cones before taking their pet home. I will spend the rest of my life wondering how I took Kian to the vet for a skin infection and came home without him. We loved you so much, Kian. You deserved to come home with us.

The vet is very informative, kind as well as understanding. I forgot his name but he's very tall . It makes it easy to bring her in as often as I can when I have the funds. My cat struggles with flea allergies which leads to hot spots (stemming from going to a friends house years ago who did NOT use flea & tick preventatives). That's the only issue I have ever had with her thank goodness, other than that she's always been healthy. She recently got a skin mass removal & they did such an amazing job. My cat looks so peaceful although I know she's probably in a little bit of pain (she groaned last night when rolling over). I will continue to come here for as long as possible. She's going to be in sweater jail for the next few weeks to prevent chewing on her stitches .

But if that time has come, when your beloved pet can no longer continue pain-free and without complications, you are told you have options. Someone told me to "drop him off at a shelter" and "start the grieving process". Others said to take him to a vet and have him euthanized at the clinic. Cost being a factor, I was mortified at the prospect of having to consider either of the above options. Abandoning a family member to die alone and wonder why? Who can do that? I came very close to having to consider that option; that is until I found IVS Mobile Vets. Encouraged by glowing reviews, I called to inquire about end-of-life care services and pricing. Dr. Moore answered my call, and even before we could get to details, she solemnly and compassionately listened to me go on and on about my little Donnie, and validated my immense grief over what was to come. Moreover, despite prices for everything everywhere being at an all-time high, Dr. Moore quoted me at-home euthanasia and private cremation for almost $200 LESS than the next lowest quote that I obtained... and I had called over a dozen vets and organizations. Donnie went to sleep on February 15, at about 1pm. In the comfort and safety of his own home, while lying in the bed that we shared for over 13 years, he drifted peacefully, and I held him until his frail little body started to cool, I don't know if it was a 1/2 hour or 1/2 a day, but Dr. Moore left us alone and gave me the time I needed for closure. Dr. Moore was gentle, patient, and truly compassionate. Despite it being the most heartbreaking day of my life, the occasion was peaceful and life-affirming, and I will mourn and cherish that memory for the rest of whatever's left of my own life. Every corner of my home is a mine field of Donnie memories, and I can't envision a day when I could come home and not long to see his little face in the upstairs window, waiting for me to open the door. But, I am forever comforted to know that I did right by my little guy, loving and caressing him to the very end. Donnie's ashes were delivered to me in person about a week later, with a heartfelt card, dignified packaging, and supplemental literature on grieving. Thank you, Dr. Moore, for your kindness, compassion and integrity. Truly an angel of mercy.
